I own all of the Lost Lands. I have to say this one probably disappointed me the most out of them all. It was ok but it wasnt much of a storyline. There were a TON of puzzles and most didnt make sense with the story or what tasks were to be completed. They were weird. Still challenging but the bonus chapter? Wow...that was really boring not worth it to get the CE but most of the games I buy are discounted so I dont feel like I wasted money this time around. I hope the next is better thought out. There really were too many puzzles and the HO scenes were just so few and even so kinda boring and it was the same type. Find object and put it here to get the next which I DO like those types but I like it changed up a little.
I don't recommend this game.

This was a mess! There were some technical difficulties but then it started playing ok. The story is just boring. I got bored in 10 minutes. Didnt bother with more. I played the demo and glad I didnt buy.
I don't recommend this game.

I've played a couple of these games before and liked them. This was terrible. The puzzles although challenging were confusing and not very clear sometimes. They got to the point of tedious and I didnt bother and skipped them. The story just wasnt all that great. I love weird games and this just was weirder than usual lol. Its more of a confusing weird which isnt what you want. I didnt even bother playing the bonus. I was done and its a shame I wasted money even if it was 60% off at the time. Its not worth it and yes I played the demo and thats probably the best part of the game and how they sucker you. Dont recommend because its just not fun!

So, I like these types of games like anyone else. I have to say this was way different than the normal which is a GOOD thing. Bad thing is I got bored after getting to chapter 2 and there were 7 chapters. Some of the things to do were tedious. There wasnt a ton of interaction really. Just mainly HO scenes and doing the puzzles. There wasnt a lot of "looking around" to do objectives. No much character interaction either. I really kinda wanted to give up and chalk it up to a bad purchase. I went ahead and finished it all although I was sooo bored and just wanted to get through it. The graphics were really good and the colors excellent. It didnt freeze up or anything and the guide was annoying when you are looking for the morphing and cant find them I went to the guide to help me. It was never at the same spot I left so I had to flip through the guide every time I wanted to use it between the actual story guide and bonuses! I plugged through and I dont even know if I'll play this again or not. A ton of people liked it and meh it was ok. Not terrible but not the best thing ever either. Interesting storyline though.
I recommend this game!

I know some didnt like it but I did. I own all the rest of the series along with this one now. I do play the demo first now before just purchasing. I liked well enough to buy it. I will say the graphics weren't as good as some of the others and that challenge wasnt all that difficult. I want to do more than just find owls and character collections which there are only 6 I think. A bit boring that part. I also think I could have purchased the regular standard version. I love Collectors because there is usually a lot of extras and the bonus game. The bonus game was stupid. It was sooo short and I was like what? Thats it? So a bit of a let down there. Even the regular game length was a little short when you compare to the other games in the series. I liked the idea of this game and it was fun to play I just wanted more. I also loved my little scarecrow glad I had him. I also never purchase a game regular price. I always wait til its half off or more. So, if I dont totally love it I didnt pay 20 bucks for it. Just something to keep in mind for those who are upset they didnt like it. Dont buy this collections version...just the regular is fine. Your not missing a thing!
I recommend this game!

From the reviews you'd think this would be a good game but its quite the contrary. Its boring and the story is lacking. Whatever happened to her Uncle? The graphics were not very good for this type of a game. The game size was surprisingly small for an Adventure/HO game. This was very disappointing and I should have played the demo before buying. Ugh.
I don't recommend this game.
Ready to solve a gripping mystery? Tackle ingenious riddles in this hidden object puzzle adventure!

I have all the Mortimer Beckett games. I was stoked this came out because its been awhile. Its NOT what I remembered. Its not the same and its like its NOT a Mortimer Beckett game at all! I was sooo disappointed. This was something else. I didnt go very far because it just wasnt what its supposed to be. I've never had to downgrade a game this way but sorry to say its well deserved. :(
I don't recommend this game.

This is probably the best HO Adventure game I've played in a really long time. Most games are ok and some are down right terrible. I had no trouble with this game and really enjoyed playing it. The guide was helpful as was the hint. Story line was an interesting twist on Beauty and the Beast. It was and it wasnt. So many things are BATB or some sort of weird twist on fairy-tales. This was actually really well thought out. I didnt feel like it was a fairy-tale so the developers did awesome.
I recommend this game!
Check out the new chapter in the adventures of Katy and Bob. Head into Safari Park and grow your business in this time management adventure!

Its pretty bad when the OLDER version can surpass the newest. The graphics are like from 20 years ago. The first game was really good. I like playing it and I own it as well. Fun to play and graphics were excellent and bright. This one is more challenging but thats all it has going for it. Some like it but me not so much. Not as fun or exciting and its rather boring. I'm at level 18 but it feels like 48 and I am wishing its over already.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a tedious game! It has the freaky factor which I do like about it. However, its so tedious that its just not fun. Just one of those games that annoys the heck out of you and although there is a map and Guide in the Collectors its really not all THAT helpful. I got through 30 minutes of the demo and decided to quit and not purchase the game. Not worth it in my opinion.
I don't recommend this game.
