I don't understand all the bad reviews. I really enjoyed this game. It was hard for me to stop playing and when I had to, I couldn't wait to get back to playing it. I liked the puzzles, the HOS, interactive map...well everything! I've played almost all of the games in this series and this was one of my favorites.
A strange and deadly pollen is spreading around the world, and you've been hired to track down its source. But the secrets you discover in the fabled kingdom of Floralia are much darker than you imagined...
I had to take a break from playing this game before my eyes snapped shut. I don't write many reviews but I just had to on this one. I am halfway (or more I hope!) through the game and I have one word. YAWN! I can't wait for it to end! I hope I even make it to the end. This game is soooo boring that I've actually been playing candy crush WHILE I've been playing this game just so I can stay awake. I bought this game because of all the positive reviews. There is so much back and forth and the map doesn't transport you. ALL of the HOS are fragment pieces, which I hate. You rarely interact with other characters. I highly recommend playing the demo to the end before you buy. Snoozefest!
I don't write many reviews, but I just had to say something about this game. You know it's a bad sign when you keep thinking "Is this game ever going to end!?" It is soooooo boring! Nothing at all exciting EVER happens. The map is terrible and it's not interactive, which it really needs to be because there is seriously a TON of going back and forth. It's such a pain when the map won't transport you! Ugh. Also, with the HOS, you will repeat the same scenes which is quite annoying. I played the Dorian Gray Syndrome and I loved it. I have one word for this game. YAWN.
I rarely write reviews but I just had to for this game. Once I started playing it, I never wanted to stop! Whenever I had to take a break, I couldn't wait to get back to it. The PUZZLES were pretty challenging and some I've never played before. I NEVER skip puzzles, but I actually did in this game. A few are brain teasers, which I love! The HOS were unique and fun. (there were a few of the basic list finds) I honestly felt like I was in a scary movie. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
An amulet purchased in an antique shop has awakened an ancient and terrible evil. Help rescue your beloved and save mankind from the coming eternal frost!
In all my history of playing games (well over 100), this is the first and only time I don't want to complete this game. There are so many things wrong with it, I don't know where to begin: 1. No voice overs or map 2. Cut scenes are in seriously SLOOOW motion 3. Really long pause between cut scenes 4. Use of inventory items that are named wrong 5. Have to click in a very specific place to use inventory items 6. BORING I just want to warn people not to waste your money, credits, or free game vouchers. I'm most certain you'll regret it.
I have played all of the Amaranthine Voyage games and this is the first one I've been disappointed with. I honestly couldn't wait for it to end. It started off pretty good, but soon became tedious and boring. There were some challenging mini games but that's pretty much all that I enjoyed about the game. The story line is a bit of a snooze fest. (This is based on the SE)
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?
I never write reviews, but I just had to for this game. I have played A TON of games and this is by far one of my most favorites. The story is great and I love the jazz music. The hidden objects vary so they're not just the boring list ones. There are quite a few puzzles, not too challenging but still fun! There are some puzzles I haven't seen before. Try this game. It is very fun!!
Okay, so I never do reviews but I just HAD to on this game. It is one of the best games I've ever played, and I've played a ton of games! The story line was great and kept me intrigued. I liked that there wasn't a lot of HOS. I'm not a fan of them, but these were good. The puzzles were great!! Many I haven't played before and there were some new twists on the ones I have played. I really recommend this game highly!!
I haven't even finished this game, but I just had to stop and write a review. This is one of the few games I've played that I keep thinking "I can't wait for this game to be over." First, the story line is mediocre, pretty boring. Second, almost every time you turn around there's a hidden object scene. Never a list of items, but all pictures of the items needed to be found that end up being assembled into something. Ugh! Also there are hardly any puzzles, wish there were more! Third, the hints are extremely frustrating! Most of the time they say "There is no more to do here at this time" rather than directing you which way to go. There are SO many places to go that it ends up being a guessing game because the map is pretty useless too. I was really looking forward to playing this game. Now I'm just looking forward to it being over.
