I was able to download this on my first attempt. I'm writing this review based only on part of the demo, but so far I like it. The hidden object scenes are interactive and I enjoyed them. Try to download it again. Hopefully you'll have no problems. :)
First of all, there is no option to choose a difficulty level. Then the tutorial pops up, which I hate (no option on that either). I'm not a fan of earning gold stars and having my hand held throughout a game. I agree with pennmom that Domini has been putting out so many games that they need to throw in some simple games. This one just isn't my cup of tea.
I couldn't play this longer than 8 minutes. There are no difficulty levels to choose, no voiceovers, and an automatic tutorial, whether I wanted it or not (I didn't). You earn stars which you then need to use as payment to open up an item in a scene (a bridge, birdhouse, etc.). This game couldn't be more boring!
This game was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. It starts off quickly with an angry elf, a fire, and the disappearance of Princess Nutcracker. The HO scenes were slightly different and not so ho-hum. Although I played the puzzles in 'hard' mode, they still were not difficult. I enjoyed them though! (like the maze in the dark with a flashlight). Love those!
I've never played a puzzle game in this series. It is super fun! I couldn't believe all of the game play options, including your choice of music (classical, country, or jazzy). I like that you can have pieces highlighted for only one section of the puzzle (eg. bottom left). There are so many features/options that make this a great game. **See pennmom's review for a detailed list.
I was only twenty minutes into the demo and knew I was going to buy this. I've never heard of this developer, but go Dragonseye! This game isn't the same old cookie-cutter, run of the mill HOPA game like the ones we've been offered for a long time now. There is no hand-holding and I love that you actually have to think! The first HO scene I played was unique and fun. No boring list of items. The storyline seems intriguing so I can't wait to see how it unfolds. I almost passed over this one, but I'm really glad I didn't. Try it! I think you'll be glad you did.
I wanted to like this, but it was too simplistic and monotonous. If you like doing HO scenes one right after the other, you will probably like this. The puzzles were extremely simple and I like puzzles that make you think. There are no voiceovers, which makes a game more boring (I think) and the storyline is blah. This game is perfect to kill time with on a boring day. I certainly wouldn't pay for the CE version though.
I was very leery about playing this after reading all the reviews regarding glitches and not being able to proceed to the second scene. For some reason I had NO glitches! I've been disappointed with the games Domini has released over the last several months but I actually really liked this game. It's been awhile since a game has held my attention. Try the demo! Hopefully you want have any glitches either.
Friendly Fox is one of my favorite developers so I was happy to see a new game from them (instead of another DO game!). This review is based on the demo only. The game held my interest, although I found the storyline a little blah. The voice overs were decent EXCEPT for Lt. Brooks. She was not good at all (one of my pet peeves), I liked the interactive HO scenes but the puzzles were very simplistic, at least in the demo. I wouldn't say this is the most fun game I've played, but enough for me to buy. Pennmom's reviews are always very detailed so you should definitely read it if you really want to make an informed decision.

This game is incredibly monotonous and boring. HOW can they possibly call this a CE!? There is nothing in this game that even remotely qualifies it as a CE. There are no player mode options and there are no voices, only dialogue that you read (even though there is a voice volume control in the settings). The storyline is terrible. Talk to someone...err I mean read their dialogue, do a few HO's or puzzles (very, VERY basic), talk to someone else, do the same thing. Repeat and keep repeating. No challenge, no talking, no storyline, no CE extras, no fun. No thanks!
