Other reviewers gave great detail, so I will just say worth every cent and this game has the absolute best graphics and details in EVERY scene of any game. so creative and different and was just a blast to play. I had to rate to support this developer. I own all of the other games and I am never disappointed. I think I will now play Curse of Blackwater because this is another one from them that I adored.
Many great games this past week, fishies! I hope you are all enjoying them as much as I am!

Other reviewers went into great detail. I would recommend for all to play. This is is my favorite developer. Every single game takes me away for a few hours to magical places. I can see and feel the love and attention to detail in every scene. This game just blew my socks off. The animation, graphics, story the bonus chapter. Too fantastic. The kind of game where you want to take your time in every scene to admire and appreciate every single object which is total eye candy. Sheer genius. I will play this game over and over. I just cannot gush enough about it. I may just have some lunch and plop down and play it again today with a different difficulty level just to go back to Northpearl!
Happy gaming fellow fish! :)

Perfect for me! A beautiful game. Objects are used pretty much within 3 screens of where you find them. The game had a great flow. Not unbearable back tracking or having to use the jump map. Length might be short for some but I actually prefer a game that is smooth and one I can finish in a few hours. I will add this one to my very favorite replay games. I own all of the games in the series and I am glad I added this one!

I agree with averagesizefish and just the facts on their reviews. This game is beautiful and even though I am a 51 year old woman I LOVE IT! Total HOG game. I did not find the objects too small. Big City Series, now that is small yet I love every one of those games too. They are challenging this game reminded me of the first HOG games only with superb graphics.
I wish there was a map and the hint button had more info because I am stuck with an egg and a teapot so if anyone has a clue on that , I posted a help request in the forum.
This is a simple yet complicated at the same time game and I adore the characters and clicking on the Cheshire Cat to receive information about the original book and movies that followed after the classic original by Lewis Carroll.
I did not miss all of the fancy movie like adventure that most games have now, although, I do enjoy those. Sometimes I just want fun and cute. I wish I could also add easy but as I said, I am stuck for the moment. Just as well. Work tomorrow and it is midnight! I encourage HOG fans to try this game. Especially if you still enjoy the occasional Disney movie now and again with or without the kids!
Cannot wait to get home and try to warm my egg if I can figure it out! Happy gaming!
I recommend this game!

For me, my kind of game. 51 year old working woman who enjoys many games, yet my favs are games that I can start and finish after work. I don't mind paying for short games if the fun and quality is there. I LOVE games that many of you call easy. Free flowing where I don't need the walkthrough or skip or spend 10 minutes or longer trying to solve a puzzle to move on. If the developer puts their heart and soul in a game and the graphics are good and the scenery is detailed, I appreciate that and I also love the the CUTSIE ANIMAL HELPERS. Not in every game, but some. For weekends I can appreciate the longer more complicated games. I used to HIGHLY depend on others reviews of games before I downloaded the trial. If the topic of the game doesn't look like it was my thing, I simply do not download or rate as I do not think it is fair for me to rate a game I clearly will not enjoy for myself and a game would have to be horrid on many levels for me to consider rating a 1 or 2 star!
If you look at the screenshots of this game and you play the video, you see a cutsie animal. Therefore, I would think for those of you that despise this feature, that you would just pass on the trial and wait for another game. I also buy games for my daughter and many players have grandkids that play. Do any of you that rate 1 or 2's for games that are not your "thing" really think that is fair to the Developers or the other players that do not share your love of your genre to not only rate so low but to bash the entire game? I think Big Fish does a very good job of putting out variety for all players. Clearly, the easy cutsie games must be selling well or they wouldn't keep putting them out and there are plenty of mind bending hair pulling non cutsie games that can take 2 days to play for those of you that enjoy that.
I know this should just be a game review for this game and this is not a forum for rants, I just ask as a fellow gamer, for those of you that rate this way to take the lead from the many great top reviewers that you include the details of the game itself and if it isn't your cup of tea then state that but the total trashing and low stars for something you shouldn't have even downloaded is just uncalled for and seriously alters the accuracy of the rating system.
Thank you to the top reviewers who do continue to be helpful to me and other members by giving details of a game and being fair when rating even if it isn't a game you will purchase for whatever the reasons. You provide wonderful information and that is so helpful to many I am sure when deciding on whether to play the trial or not.
Happy gaming to all , whatever your genre! Now back to Sable Maze to see if I can save Ryan!
I recommend this game!

The other high star reviewers gave good details of the game. So I will just say how much fun I had thanks to my #1 favorite developers. The game progresses smoothly and I had a total blast. I loved the gnomes I loved the submarine scene. I took a mini break, had a glass of Red wine and just watched the fish swim by, I felt like I was there! I cannot rave about their games enough. Perfect for me. Great flow, so beautiful and I can replay them many many times. The Bonus play was great, I loved going back to collect the "treasures" so I could see every gorgeous scene again. I love that they allow you to go back to retrieve the collectibles after the game ends! I don't know how I missed 3 the first round but I did! It was great to see Maria and Gears again! Thank you Mad Head for giving me nice stress free fun games to get lost in. You made my weekend!

Super great job. Graphics beautiful and realistic different than most. I loved the story. Even though is was a shorter game than some, the quality was worth it. It was pure fun for me I did not get bored once. NO running around even if the mini games were easy I loved them and that this is the most different game I have played for a long time. There were some glitches for me character voices went out soon after the start and at the end in the bonus part I bought all of the jigsaw extras and the last few didn't match up right and one I was even missing a piece! I bet a patch will be out soon for that but would not stop me from loving this game and replaying often based on being different and on creativity alone! Try for yourself! :)
I recommend this game!

I hope Madhead stays right where they are and sticks with the 5 star review comments given. This is the ONLY developer that I purchase the game the same day no trial. I like a beautiful creative free flowing game and they are always right on. Good story, flowed well and I loved every minute of this game start to finish, just like their other games. I replay them often. Very enjoyable and just beautiful even if it is supposed to be creepy it ends nice. That is a huge plus for me there is enuff real life bad evil creepiness I the world, just watch the news. Well done as always Madhead!

Story seemed fine and that was all the good I could say about it. The two inventory items I was able to find were not named since the graphics were not super clear you were not sure what you had. Hint button was horrid. I was basically stuck with 1/2 piece of code and couldn't figure it out. I think Big Fish does a great job of putting games out something for everyone not everyone will like the same genre but I am a little disappointed that this made it up as a game. Horrible game play for anyone! It was like it was a draft.
I don't recommend this game.

Wow! So happy, what a great 10 hours. Took in every single scene with pause, just to absorb the superb details. Wood grains, reflections, watching the ghost of the future come out of the snow was to die for. No 4-5 screen backtracking. Did not HAVE to use the map to jump and I did not want to. I loved walking thru the town. The story and objects made sense and flowed flawlessly. My poor husband who is not the biggest gamer had to endure this on our big screen but he even got sucked in ,he prefers to take breaks though. I must own 200 games and this is on the top of my must play again lots! I agree with the majority of the other reviewers. I do not enjoy games that are super difficult or have too many HO or mini games especially in every single scene sometimes more than 3 or 4! it really interrupts the flow of the adventure if you hit these back to back. This is truly and adventure game and I was sucked in the entire time including the bonus chapter. I have a full time job and I do not want to burn my brain or deal with overly dark story lines when I want to relax an just have non frustrating fun. Thank you developers, for such a perfect game. A masterpiece in every way. The highest quality and creativity. The only thing I would love to see in Collector's editions is an indictor that you have missed collectibles on the map so you can go track them down before the end. To all the fishies out there, do not miss the chance to enjoy this wonderful adventure and enjoy the beauty of it.
I recommend this game!
