This is based on the demo, so things may change later on in the game. It started out great, with unsurpassed graphics and voiceovers, but the "puzzles" leave a lot to be desired and are just a fancier take on ones that have been done to death.
One pet peeve, why is it that some developers choose caption fonts that are almost impossible to read??!! I have excellent vision, but found myself having to lean into my monitor constantly, especially when the game used the night vision goggles. With only about a million fonts to choose from, let's hope this stops.
I'd probably play this game just for the graphics, but it certainly isn't high on my wish list. Try it for yourselves, though; I'm just someone who prefers challenging puzzles in games, and I know not everyone agrees with me.
I don't recommend this game.

If you like puzzles, this is the game for you. Not only are they varied, but many of them are nothing I've seen before. Even the ones that are familiar from other games either have a new twist or are somehow more tricky than I've experienced.
On top of that, the artwork in this game is superlative; the developers deserve a round of applause for having gone to so much effort. I have played some games that had great puzzles and others that were visually stunning, but never have I played a game that has both in abundance. Kudos to the large team that designed this game and I hope we see more from them.

It's rare to find a game that is tailor-made for those of us who like puzzles. The only other one that comes to mind is Riddles of Egypt so if there are others, I hope to find them. There was only one puzzle, the one about the three brothers, which threw me completely, mainly because when the description says "he", I couldn't figure out whether that brother was talking about himself or about one of his brothers. Even with all 3 hints, it still didn't make sense. Most of the others are readily solvable without hints. A few are trick questions but most are straight logic and just require some thought.
It's a shame when players who don't like puzzles or who are looking for a HOG try a game such as this and then give it a bad review. In my opinion, this is an excellent game and I hope to see more like it.
As an agent of the Alliance, you’ve been given a mission to destroy an ancient artifact known as the Spear of Destiny. In the wrong hands, it could help conquer the world.
I only played the demo but could see the rest of the game would be more of the same. Finding and placing objects has been done to death and there is certainly no challenge here. The mini-games I got to play were at the beginner's level; I just like a lot more of a challenge.
I was surprised -- and somewhat taken aback -- by the number of reviewers who loved this game for its connection to WW2; there are good games out there set in the same arena but this is not one of them.
I don't recommend this game.

Based on playing the demo, I thought this game would offer quite some challenges. The graphics are absolutely great, as is the music, and it seemed like it was going to be a long game with something different to offer from what we often find. As I got into playing the whole game, I saw that aside from the visual quality and great voice-overs it didn't have a lot to offer. The strange mini-puzzle requiring locking a pattern over another one was just plain annoying, especially after 3-4 repeats. The other puzzles, with the exception of 1 or 2, offered nothing new and I found myself skipping over far more than I usually do. For a game with such superior visual and audio quality, it seems the developers would want to offer better puzzles to do it justice.
This is a game that would please newbies a lot more than experienced players, but I hope that devs in the future will come up with more of a challenge, especially in games that are a continuation of a popular series.
I'll recommend the game with reservations, as I am an older and more experienced player, having worked my way through the Myst series, Syberia, and the like. Big Fish does a good job of offering games for all ages and levels of experienced and I always appreciate the hard work the fishes on the Pond are doing. Please, play the demo and decide for yourselves. Happy New Year to all!

The puzzles in this game offer a different take on those usually found, which makes it fun and challenging. They're not extremely difficult, but some require figuring out just how to go about solving them at all. Unfortunately, the character graphics are awful, surprising as the overall design is very good. There is no voice-over at all, which would have earned it a few more stars from me. The one hour demo was over too soon and left me curious to see what the rest of the puzzles are like.
I've played every Nancy Drew game but one and this was the best yet. I mainly play games for the puzzles and this one does not disappoint. In fact, I almost got hopelessly stuck on the final one but managed to figure it out...without spoiling anything, I'll just say you have to look closely.
It was so nice to hear Lani Minella's familiar voice playing Nancy once again; rumor has it that No. 32 is going to be her last so if you're fans, please go on Twitter and put in a request for her to not abandon us. All the voice-overs were excellent as always, and music, scenery and storyline were tops as well.
Kudos to the developers for continuing to keep up their high standards and many thanks to BigFish for continuing to offer us these great games!
The only thing this game has to recommend it is the live characters speaking their parts. Voice and lip movements are uncoordinated, probably as the original game was made in a language other than English, but it's remarkable that the developers made the effort to include live characters and then created such a bland, boring game. Would not recommend it.
This is one of the few games I've ever played in this genre that had a great variety of original puzzles. The hidden object scenes were pretty ordinary but the quality of the puzzles more than made up for this. Would certainly recommend it!
The MCF games have been progressively better as the series has been developed and this is the best yet. It will be hard to top but I certainly hope the creators will try their best to do so. Even the Hidden Object parts are done with a twist so are not boring. The puzzles were a challenge, even for an older, experienced player like me and were a lot of fun to figure out. Thanks much for an excellent game!
