The game offers a very good play. I downloaded to give it a whirl and would purchase but I am stuck trying to get into the office. After securing all the parts for the harpoon and shooting to acquire the ladder alas I can not climb. The Hint supports my thoughts that I need to do just that -- will spend some time that I have remaining to slug around but I do think there might be a boo boo with the game.
I still intend to purchase the game if problem is resolved.
I recommend this game!

Dark Manor: A Hidden Object Mystery
The bayou. The roaring 1920’s. A supernatural secret. Step into Dark Manor, where ghostly hosts will help you find your way! Beautify your manor today!
I play this game between good and interesting HOGS.
The game starts out easy but as you progress it adds challenge.
Today after many games I was successful in completing 10 perfects in a row and it was accomplished in the next to last section of 10's. I wasn't sure what would happen with this accomplishment and was anxious to find out if the game rewarded you in some way. Well I found out and it was a NOT, no reward. The reward is in reaching one's on goal.
I chose to play this game in the most difficult mode, promised myself not to use the SG and not use hints unless I had no hair left to pull out. Well I have a few hairs left on my head. The shadow hidden objects were challenging meaning clever enough to give me a run for my money.
I really mean it I enjoyed the game.
PS Appreciate that mini games and hidden objects can be revisited. I named the little fox after my favorite dog. Trivia was a nice touch.
I liked the bonus chapter more than the regular game and I must admit I liked the previous Keepers more than this one.
I can't say exactly why but I felt this game was convoluted, there was a lot to seek and use but found myself at times confused but then that is part and parcel of a good game. The only thing that I can think of to explain is that it was difficult at times to nail the object in its rightful place, true in the hidden object scenes as well. It seemed the window was narrow if that makes any sense.
Also the morph objects seemed not to be morphing or the morph was slooow. Found most of them but not from observing a true morph. Could have been these old eyes of mine.
This was a story that could have been great. I wanted more. Loved the twist but felt that it could have been developed more.
The game was way to short. I am not fond of sparkles nor little blinkers that show me where to seek. I will also say I am not keen on objectives popping up -- I would rather trace my own steps and search a journal for some reminder. The help provided took away from an otherwise good game.
The hidden object scenes were way to easy.
With all that said I did enjoy what little was presented. The artwork was stunning and I might add with a little more development of the story it could have been used more,
I' m really more of a Mystery Case File: 13th Skulls, Dire Grove, Shadow Lakes, Ravenhearst and a good Edgar Allen Poe plus a Sweeney Todd for fun -- and then Vampires and then any game that has disturbing stuff like Asylum, Infected and well you get the idea. However I found this game imaginative and a good play. Nothing disturbing or gross but the challenge kept my interest. If you play in the advanced mode, refrain from using the map it does stretch the muscle between your ears.
