This is a wonderful IHOG with some adventure thrown in. The story line is good and easy to follow. It is not a difficult game, nor are there many bells or whistles. It also has quite a few HOS, more than I usually like. I suppose it comes down to enjoying the story line of the game. It's on the short side (Maybe 3 hours?) but it's 3 hours of fun.
This is the first FTP game I've tried. It's pretty good actually. I'm only on level 4 so perhaps things will change. It is repetitive, as far as searching the same HOS multiple times. You are given quests to fulfill and you do that by searching the HOS. Each HOS needs time to recharge before you can search it again, so there is a lag time in the game. I do not see yet where you can add friends but I really didn't look around too much. I'd recommend trying it. :)

I just recently found this game. Many reviewers compare this to Lifequest. I've never played that game or any like it, so I was very surprised with this game. Very nice pace and a great game to play when you just want to chill. A buy for me ;)

A nice tower defense game involving pirates. 3 levels of play to choose from. I chose Easy since I am not very good at these games. You get quite a choice of weaponry to fight off the thieving pirates. I got through the demo fine but it was getting very difficult toward the end of the demo. There are many levels so I feel this will become a very challenging game.

Here we have a soft release about a haunted house. I could not resist a demo on this one. You are called in as a detective to find out what is going on in a house that has supposedly been empty for 40 years. The game is not your standard ERS cookie cutter game. You need to think out of the box here (OK, sometimes way out of the box). There are many many more HOS that I like in this game, both list and silhouette but they are easy and the items are found quickly. You get a very very useful journal which will give you tasks (these are invaluable in making your way through the game), a map which I haven't found too useful yet, and the story of the demons. You get 4 modes of play including custom. If you choose custom, the hint recharge button moves to the right to make the hint recharge quickly (as opposed to most other games). It is a dark game. After all, you are in a deserted haunted house. However, it is not the grainy dark that makes things difficult to see and it didn't bother me. Some screens also scroll to the left or right. You need to move your cursor down the side of the screen to find the arrow to open up that next scene. I personally enjoy games like this. You really need to click around the rooms to find things. Not everything is indicated by a hand or magnifying glass. Something may just be lying around looking out of place. This game has loaded fine and has been running fine for me without any glitches. There is a period of 15 or 20 seconds of load time between scenes. I love these creepy games and the music that they do play occassionally matches the theme. I recommend this one, but do demo for yourself as we all have different tastes. PS... you DO NOT get a fuzzy cute helper in this game
This game has you growing up orphaned and later in life getting the chance to meet your biological mother by boarding an underwater hotel where dreams can come true. It's a new interesting concept, I'll give the developers that. I played the CE but did not feel it was CE worthy. The HOS are interactive with items being easy to spot. Mini games have all been seen before and are fairly easy (even for a non puzzler such as myself). You do get a robot helper who can go into places you cannot reach. The main negative with this game, IMO, is the amount of cut scenes. I had to laugh at another reviewer's comments because I felt the same way. Every time you thought you were about to progress with the game, BAM, another cut scene. Graphics are good. Music is nice. I am refraining from purchasing this one due to the fact that I like to play my games, not watch them in movie form. :)
I don't recommend this game.

This is a HOS heavy game. It's not a bad game. Actually the story line is nice. Jessica (human) and Todd (vampire) fall in love. Not a good thing as Todd is forbidden to fall in love with humans. And on goes the story of true love. There are a LOT of HOS. Not a bad thing for some. For me... not my cup of tea. Puzzles were fairly easy. 2 modes of play. No voice overs. A dark game (color wise). Hard to see some things. Game flowed nicely. Not a buy for me because of all the HO, but a good game for others.
Look after and feed fun 3D fish and watch them play and interact with each other as you complete exciting match-3 levels to earn money for decorating your aquarium!

This is an adorable Match 3 game. Colors are bright, everything is easy to see. Music is all cheery. You earn coins to decorate your own fishtank. You buy fish, they interact with you. They're actually quite funny. Breaks up the monotony of M3.

I'm new to the Match 3 genre, so my review is based on what I like. I appreciated that there was an untimed version. Other than that, very very repetitive. You break yourself out of a room in the cursed house, only to go on and do the same with another room. Yes, there are different power ups available. Other than that, ehhh. Bored me before the demo was over.

Very pretty and relaxing M3 game. Good for all ages. Timed and untimed. Only complaint is the tiles are small with different items on them. Much easier to see when the tiles are just colored blocks or larger. Otherwise a perfect game.
