This is one of my favourite series and I love little Elf. The game runs smoothly and the graphics although not as good as older games are pretty good. The collectibles are a bit hard to find but that's part of the fun. Also there IS a Strategy Guide after purchasing. It's in the menu rather than being available right in the game but it is there.

The overall game is very nice to play, good graphics, music OK. There are some card games I'd never played before (not a cards person) but I've learned some and some I just don't get. I've played Mahjong games for years and I have to say these are not much fun. You make just a few moves and it tells you no more moves, shuffle two more moves and again no more moves. Kind of frustrating.
I got this game with points so at least I didn't waste $$. I found the graphics blurry and too small rather than cleverly placed. When I got to the puzzles in between my eyes just said NO. I don't have the patience for clutter disguised as an HO anymore.
This is a fun M3 with some new tasks and all kinds of power ups. I play on relaxed but it's the first time I've ever had to slow down my game in order to fill the bar to achieve 3 stars. If you enjoy M3 you will probably like this one.
Played through most of the demo and quite enjoyed the easy, relaxing gameplay. You can play in relaxed or limited moves mode. Instead of the usual explosion noises you get a satisfying crunch sound when making matches.. I only gave it four stars because I won't pay CE prices for an M3 game unless there is a real adventure going on (ex. Cave Quest).
This would be a beginner kids game I would think. Some of the objects to find are little more than flickering pixels. If I had to introduce a child to HO games it wouldn't be this one.

I purchased this before realizing it has one of my pet peeves in an M3. Wherever your cursor lands the square is highlighted. Aside from all the flashing it makes it harder to see which squares still need to be freed up. Just spoils the whole game for me.
