I found this dull and formulaic. The graphics are lovely but the gameplay is slow, not enough puzzles and no interest to the hidden object scenes. I didnt even finish the free trial I got so bored. Simply cant understand the other excellent reviews. Maybe the CE is A LOT better?

This has all what makes a good HOG, a villain, a quest, interesting puzzles, pixie-land and underwater scenes just lovely, a great story but I didnt give it more than three stars because it is clearly aimed at young teens. The initial deserted school scenes would be even younger - ten yr olds. Otherworld Summer was more cross-generational I thought, and though I liked this a great deal & enjoyed it enough to finish in two sessions (you get about 8hrs gameplay so good value) it is definitely aimed for child gamers. Very much recommend it for this age group though.

just about perfect game - gorgeous to look at - novel idea of an ancient artefact with benefits - a Ship made of human bones (nothing to do with pirates as I thought) - plenty of memory tests as A LOT of running back and forth to remember what goes where - and engaging HOGS. Puzzles ok - and excellent value - about 7-8 hours gameplay on average I should think, and the best sort of hint - fast fill and precise instruction 'go to hall and release crystal with knife' - wish more would do this - a hint should help move the game along not be a source of frustration slowly filling up and then giving only the vaguest idea - have no idea why game producers include a hint that is difficult to use .... ?? WOuld recommend this game to grown adults like me too, not just the youngsters, v enjoyable bit of escapism, thank you Elephant and BigFish
I recommend this game!

the game is set up so you cant move on until a puzzle is completed and the Stream is impossible for me - my mouse simply dosent respond quick enough so without going out and buying a new mouse I'm stuffed. There are about 15 games and I done three so its just a swizz. they should set it so you can have a go at all the puzzles, I am complaining to big fish to get my money back.
I don't recommend this game.

Georgous graphics, puzzles just right, interesting HOG's and just right amount of running back & forth or in this case, going up and down the elevator without repeating to boredom or getting lost. This and Awakenings Moonfell Wood are EXACTLY what I look for in my gaming - thank you developers, you 've given me a lot of fun and relaxation, and a brain workout too. Love the mechanical zoo and the fireflies and the finale too.
I recommend this game!

Ok it looks great and seems to have a nice story BUT it is simply frustrating, not nicely challenging. I couldnt get the elixir of healing for the deer - it needed honeycomb and I'd already used it and couldnt see how to get more, plus the gazebo got nothing after fairy dust. Hints just said 'something to do here but what' - didnt highlight or tell you what to do and nothing responded to clicks. And the walkthrough was no help either. Still couldnt make progress. I really wouldnt get any more games from Amaranth, looks like lazy game producing to me, not tying everything in and useless hints.
I don't recommend this game.

This was I think about 6 hours gameplay so good value and beautiful graphics, the trees and the stone maze, the delapidated buildings, the dryads all extremely well done. Several ghostly shocks and just the right balance of HO and puzzles with some creative puzzle solutions needed too - like using a lobster to cut through branches! I am an older player and thoroughly enjoyed my down time playing this game. Thank you.
I recommend this game!
