I got the trial on the basis of a good storyline - investigating four previous lives. what fun ! But was badly let down. The visual quality is very poor, the puzzles incomprehensible. Worst of all and which makes the game unplayable is a strange and clunky mouse action. Everything seems delayed and really annoying is its tricky to go back, the cursor just wont change conveniently to a back arrow. Didn't purchase and have no idea how people could've enjoyed this so much, Its the worst gameplay Ive ever tried, and a BIG WASTE of an interesting story.

This is a nice looking game, the gardens are beautiful and the mansion is good, the fire effects are well done, and some scary moments. A lot of running back and forth but feels satisfying when puzzles are solved and you work out when to use the many inventory items that are collected; however I got completely confused who loved who - and who was jealous of who etc and the ending was very, very poor which is why Ive only given 3 stars. The games just sort of stops. I guess the CE finishes the story but it does feel a let down after quite good gameplay. There are better games out there for your money.
I don't recommend this game.

I think the clown character would be too scary for children under about 14 - it would stay on their minds as the images and ideas are very sinister. V enjoyable game, would recommend it especially for adult gamers, gameplay goes along at just the right pace, lots to do without getting stuck and disheartened. Perhaps a few too many HO scenes but they are quick to complete and you get two objects as rewards to progress the game. Ending dramatic and satisfying. Great fun, thank you, I enjoyed it a great deal.
I recommend this game!

I keep asking BF for sci-fi games and this exactly hits the spot - space ships, giant bugs, stunning visuals, puzzles just right, great story. and gameplay spot on, its not just just find something use it, which can be dull, some items sit in inventory for quite some time which gives some nice challenges. I thoroughly enjoyed everymoment,, would love to see more like this, especially landscapes of alien planets, aliens creatures, star scape stars, all with sci-fi theme. wonderful and what a refreshing change from gloomy asylums and orphanages !
I recommend this game!

clunky and dated - needs deleting from catalogue now. a re-write of the same storyline with updated gameplay would be good - dinosaur bones coming to life and running away would be fun !

tried the trial on the back of reviews and was prepared for hunting, repeating etc but my patience ran out, there's just not enough positive events like actually finding things, or getting things to work to move forward, just needs speeding up with more to do and would be a really interesting change from goth HOGS.

very original beautiful and good value game, it goes on and on and when you think the villains had it and ready to finish, there's still more. very very silly story line but who cares ? its 100% fun and relaxation and just right level of challenge & pacing and lots to do, always several hunts on the go but you feel yr progressing well, and mini-games short and sweet without being too complex. I took my time to enjoy the lush graphics and because I didnt want it to end. Well done developers. More like this but lets have more strong female leads, and why are all the characters always white people ? I am west indian heritage and get a bit bored looking at white faces all the time. thank you.
I recommend this game!

Very good graphics and handsome hero - wouldve liked to see more of him though. Lovely locations stone bridges, caves waterfalls and a nice trick with the HOGS where each one was a double tthrough time having to use items from one to finish the second (It makes sense when you do it). Just the right length and excellent pacing - sometimes slower to find things so enjoyed the ride then faster bits where you found and used objects opened doors etc so I felt I a was progressing at a good pace. Very well done indeed, thoroughly professional and enjoyable, thank you.
I recommend this game!

sometimes I wonder whether the reviews on here are genuine and not just written to get more game sales. This game started well in the cottage and cemetery but once at the asylum gates laboratory and on, I just found it more and more irritating. The story line is good and some scary scenes and ideas but so many inane puzzles slowed the story and just became tedious, I just didnt feel I was getting anywhere just repeating clicking my mouse and watching coins or eyeballs whatever spin. Watched walkthrough on you tube and also noted no dramatic ending so what is the point of this game? I didnt feel motivated to finish it so feel I completely wasted my money.
I don't recommend this game.
