Yet another game that had potential, yet fell drastically short!
Hello Venice is the type of matching game where you need to match shaped along a particular path in order to finish the level. I really enjoy these kind of games as it gives purpose to the match-3 dynamic, other than just clearing the boxes.
And, I was excited to see that the game had another element to work towards on the game board...matching next to plants to make them bloom! But, this is where the game's biggest short-coming lies. The player is allowed to do this, but you better make sure you do so before your game board moves on to the next scrolling section, or you are out of luck! You cannot go back and make the plants grow which makes you feel like a huge failure!
Add to that, the mediocre graphics and limited choices for garden upgrades and you are left with a game that quickly makes you want to say Bye Bye!
Come on developers! Are you even playing your games to see how you feel when you fail to do the one innovative thing you put on the game levels? It's time you start doing so!
I don't recommend this game.

Being a long time gamer, I have played it all. I love all different types of genres, but I must admit that I have recently been lured more towards the dark and creepy HOGs. The biggest reason is that's 80% of what's out there right now! But, I was ready for a change.
And that's when I discovered Jewel Match 3! The visuals on this game are amazing! Not only do you get to experience true innovation with moving boards and unlocking paths to other boards, but you also get an interesting storyline (with a little bit of hidden object thrown in for some added spice!)
I also really love the meta-game as well! You are building on to your castle, but can pick whatever design you want, from three very different looks. You also can build and grow a garden with amazing flowers and plants.
With Jewel Match 3, you might sit down saying "I have a little time to kill,,,I guess I'll play a few levels" and later discover that two hours have past! It's that addictive!!
And all this matching makes me want to go check out Jewel Match 1 and 2 as well! Anything to get to one more level...
I recommend this game!

I am so excited to find this game again!
I had Insaniquarium and my daughter and I played the heck out of it, until my computer crashed and I lost the game. That was many years ago and we had forgotten all about it until stumbling on it again here!
The graphics are a bit dated, but the gameplay is still amazing! There are 4 different gameplay modes: You will progress through many levels in Adventure Mode, unlocking tank helpers and battling baddies all along the way. There are also Time Trial and Challenge Modes where you can earn extra cash to use in the fourth mode - your own VIRTUAL TANK!! You can interact with your fish here as well as name them!!
I am so enjoying this trip down memory lane, playing a game that still stands up to some high standards!

Attention all game makers! Games (and especially HOGs) are not made on visuals and storyline alone!!
Gameplay is KING! And it will always rule the roost!
Infected grabbed me with some very realistic and interesting visuals but, like many other reviewers have said, the gameplay was sorely lacking. The scenes were super easy to figure out, the objects were easy to find and I felt like I was flying through the game at record speed, without even using hints!
I finished the "limited" demo with 35 minutes to spare on my demo time. And while I LOVED the cliffhanger "ending" of my demo, I didn't love the gameplay enough to pull out my wallet.
Once again, so much potential with the creepy in game characters and realistic cell phone videos...only to be let down by the actual gameplay.

This game was recommended to me by Oscar and I can't begin to say how disappointed I was with it!
Being a lover of all things spooky, the title of this game alone made me more than excited. But after the initial story boards, my excitement was already waning. Zombies are taking over the world and it's up to the Vampires (oh, and you, of course) to stop them. YAWN!
But, I try to give every game it's chance to impress me, so I continued. I can't say I'm a huge fan of TMG's, but I like a good one and was still willing to give this game a shot. Sadly, I couldn't make it past the 20 minute mark. The graphics are pretty old school, the sounds appear to have come from a bad haunted house music CD and the gameplay is slow and extremely boring. I felt like a zombie myself after just playing the first few levels!
So, while the game had potential, it fell short in so many areas that It sadly became a waste of time...even for a game addict like me!

I have always been a fan of all things dark and spooky and the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is one of my favorites! This game not only tells the classic story with renewed energy, but it stays true to the mysterious overtones that has kept this story popular through the ages.
The game is dialog heavy, which only adds to the addictive qualities that make you want to keep playing. But, nestled in between the dialog are stunning scenes with interesting objects to find and engaging tasks to complete.
I love games where the things you find and do are important and drive the plot forward. You are an inspector, so it makes sense to look for fingerprints and evidence! It also makes sense to play a mini-game where you are following footprints to figure out where a possible suspect has gone. And there are many more...
Bravo to JoinDots for creating a hidden object game that's not afraid to let the story take center stage, with the gameplay being the strong supporting cast!
I recommend this game!

I downloaded this game because even the extra small image for the game looked amazing. Glow Fish is not only visually spectacular, but is so much fun to play as well.
You are little Glowfish and you are trying to save your friend from evil. I know it's the typical plot line, but it so doesn't matter!! Like the classic retro adventure games, you will be swimming through a ton of uniquely planned out maps, saving other little fishies while looking for your captured friend, while collecting coins and other helpful creatures the entire time!
If you are tired of all the hidden object games that are over in a few hours, and are looking for a true adventure game that is a visual feast, then you should definitely try Glow Fish. You won't be disappointed!
I recommend this game!
