Based on Demo, seems like a good game. The story is self supporting, so you do not have to have played the former games to understand what is going on. It is similar in style as the rest of the Spirits of mystery, and the graphics are colorful and a nice quality (don't let the graphics on the icon fool you, they are not the watercolor style but much more crisp and likeable). Based on time it took to play the demo, its a buy for me. There are a few surprises that make you wonder what will happen next. So give it a try!
This game held a lot promise. The idea was a good one-I love to play Mahjong or solitaire games that have a plot and a journey. It makes it more entertaining than straight boards of tiles or cards. However, the expectations of this one to be able to get the level cleared in 0 seconds is unreasonable and ridiculous. I agree with the others--this is a no go for me, unfortunately.
Loved it! Enough intrigue, twists and turns to keep it interesting. No demented witches and witchcraft, no red-eyed demons--finally a great game with lots of fun and no gore or uncomfortable scenes with possessed spirits! Love that you can go back in the bonus material and collect globes that you miss and find souvenirs in each scene (wish more devs would pick up on this feature!). Has morphing objects in the HOS. More like this please!
Complete dangerous missions amid dazzling landscapes of prehistoric Earth and alien worlds. Can you complete these thrilling puzzles in order to return home?
The storyline looked great, the game looked like fun, but full screen on my surface was a little block in the middle. Not fun to play in a screen no bigger than a postcard. Sorry, with all the games out there that actually can fit the screen this is one I can do without.
I was a little put off by the story line at first and hesitated buying it following the demo, despite curiosity and the lovely atmosphere because I've grown so weary of possessed people, demons, ghosts and various grim stories. But WoW! I was pleasantly surprised by a thrilling mystery set in Mexico! It was not at all as I was expecting and that is a good thing! A ghost does pop up, but not the usual menacing form haunting so many games now. A nice twist if not a little predictable as the story unfolds, as you begin to have suspicions. The graphics are beautiful and truly are a different, Spanish flavor. For ancient history buffs like me, there are a few little gems you see that do truly accurately portray some artifacts from Mayan, et. al, tombs, although they may not have all appeared in the same setting as they do here. Great little details that make this game a winner! The mini games are not too difficult and some are right joyful to figure out. Try it, and maybe like me you won't be weeping, but dancing!
This is a spin-off from the download to own Emerland Chronicles. It does have lovely graphics and the sounds are familiar. But if it is anything as challenging toward the end as the original game is, you will certainly do some purchasing to stay alive! It has a meter bar for power you use during each solitaire hand and it has hearts that you spend to play and also lose if you do not win the hand! And there are companions that help you along. Interesting as a sequel to the first.
I recommend this game!

Lapland Solitaire
Can you help the elves through all 200 levels? Collect enough chocolate coins to build Lapland in time for Christmas!
Sweet little solitaire game! as you play through levels you earn chocolate coins that you use to purchase upgrades for the North Pole village. The upgrades are also powerups to help you along in the game play. Even my 5 year old commented on how lovely the background scenes are! Nice music and lots of levels to keep you busy building Christmas trees, cottages and Mrs. Claus' kitchen. If you enjoy solitaire (up one/down one) give it a try--you might find it sweet enough for you!
Another great game in the Christmas stories series, following the Nutcracker. Scrooge gets another chance to get things right with a little help from you and you get a present in itself in this gift of a game--lots of interaction, smooth, and beautiful, festive graphics, lovely Christmas music to accompany--what more can you ask for in a game! My Christmas wish is for more games with this fun and flavor -- no dark magic, just fun holiday magic!
I love the Christmas story series! This game is a new take on the story of the devoted tin soldier (George- here) and our old friend the Nutcracker makes another appearance to help us out in the form of the hint button. An interactive map, sparkles, hints and lots of beautiful graphics! You do have the option to play casual or harder modes and the CE is worth it with extra gameplay. The music is soft and Christmasy and it is just a joy to play this close to the holiday. Enjoy! And Merry Christmas!
Basic one up-one down solitaire play with soft Christmasy backgrounds. The music is not however. The play has a basic game, but no storyline. There are opportunities to earn enough coins to get scrambles and wild cards, but you have to get a certain number of "special" cards in order to advance to the next level with a different scene. Relaxing and not timed.
