This game is pretty sharp. It is relaxed and a good pace if you are just in the mood to swap 3s and solve a mystery. Not every player desires a gut twisting timer to cram every move in or the frustration of limited moves. Its great that devs mix things up and try to reach different audiences with different games. Not every player is the same or likes the same mechanics. If you like a relaxing game once in a while, this might be for you. Decent overall.
I was surprised at the goofy, quirky art and characters. Maybe the whole theme was to be funny and offbeat. Plus the whole game froze after about level 4. I had to exit through task manager. Not a go for me. Maybe you will have better luck.
The first thing I noticed about this game is the beautiful graphics! The colors are so jewel tone and the images are sharp and life-like! Interesting to see how this entire plot plays out since I've only played the demo, but I'm eager to see what happens next!
This is similar to the others in this series, HOS and puzzles in between. Happy locations with no witches, devils or evil spirits. Good fun! Also, I had trouble with C++ too (even repairing) until I did this: I removed any old C++ packs from my machine (add and remove programs). uninstalled the game from the big fish game manager and then restarted. Then reinstall the game through the game manager. It will prompt you to accept the C++ and then you have to agree a second time. That fixed it for me! Happy gaming!
I love these games-I agree with those posted above, good old HOP with no witches, devils, evil spirits. Just relaxing fun! I also had trouble initially downloading. Even after I ran the C++ it wouldn't load (even with repairs). So this is what I did and it worked for me: I went into remove programs and uninstalled all of the old versions of C++ my machine had. Then I uploaded the game again on a clean slate, uninstalling any versions and even restarting afterward. When the distributable pack comes up, you agree and then you have to agree a second time. It loaded then and it is trouble free. Try that. Perhaps it will work for you too. Happy gaming!
I am so glad to see this title up with another game in the series! There needs to be more of this-clean, sweet, good HOG fun with mini games splashed in-between all while you are trying to rebuild the fun park. Awesome fun with no dark mages, no demons, no evil spirits. Just gaming fun with happy, bright colors, comic relief, (a little corny doesn't hurt when you are hiding out from games with eviiiillll!!) and HOG hunts that can be a little challenging: extra credits for extra challenges, gems to locate, and a park to rebuild! Count me in and, devs, keep these games on your radar--they are such a wonderful break from the cookie-cutter themes on adventure games now. An immediate buy.
I love this series! Strange, because normally I am not a zombie freak. But this is tastefully done (no eating brains) and there is humor in the storyline. Even the zombies on the cards are comical. The powerups make the game win-able and it is not so difficult you are hopeless to go on to the next level. I have the original zombie solitaire and each one in the chapter series. I can't wait until the next one comes out! The duration is not so long you get fed up and the in-between challenges change it up just enough. Great solitaire!
This review is based on the finished game. 100 levels of increasing difficulty. you earn coins to pay for powerups and believe me you do need them! There are challenges within the levels which consist of 3 hands of one up one down solitaire. An example would be making a combo of 8 cards of only diamonds and hearts. There is a limited deck of cards for each level but you get a few added cards between the levels. Fun, especially at this time of year!
I cannot say enough positive things about this game. I am delighted to see a game with a biblical theme (only wish there were more!) The music is pleasant, there is no doom and gloom, no evil spirits--Yay! In fact, love that the Holy Spirit shows up! The re-telling of the building of the Ark is played between the rounds and an angel appears to help you with powerups. Hope devs take a look, it would be so great to have more games along these lines--positive and just fun to play!
You are on a mission to stop the Inquisitor! The graphics were not as high quality as some other devs out there, but it was a little different take--a different time period (medieval for a change) and a unique storyline. It is worth checking into to see if it appeals to you. Give it a chance.
