This game kept me going to the end, and I still wanted more! Excellent story, lots of HOs and variety of puzzles, and great music. The graphics are nice and clear and the cut scenes are placed perfectly. Though there isn't bells and whistles. But for a regular game with no CE you get all the nice stuff: guide, achievements and other stuff. So this game is worth the buy at a SE price.
The miracle of the Green Moon, which flourished with plants of all kinds, had lasted for only a few moments. A cataclysm made the Moon lifeless again. Find out why!

I am glad I bought this game. Though I've only played it for short time I had to comment on it. This game is truly the essence of what a hidden object puzzle adventure game should be. It holds true to the classics (like the Myst series). Yes this game isn't easy, it makes you search everywhere, it makes you have to figure things out, and, at times, it makes you frustrated! But most of all makes you THINK! So, if you are a gamer that DOES NOT:
Want everything given to you; Need a map that shows where to find everything; Sparkles that show all hidden things; Or a hand that holds yours...
this game is for you! So, there should be no whining...just a good ahhh! after accomplishing a task after figuring out what to do! And gain a few more strong brain cells.

This is a great game for a fun and relaxing. All that is needed is to find the objects in the list and collect the items needed to open things so you can collect the crystals or runes to fix the portal. Throughout the game there are some random puzzles you'll have to solve to get some gems or runes. The story is all text so thrown on the reading glasses and dust off your cobwebbed brain to read a great story. All the scenes are beautifully drawn to give them a fantasy feel. There is no need for a map because the areas are very compact and contain everything needed to accomplish the tasks before moving to the next place. I recommend this as a great family game because this is not dark, scary, creepy here!

This is a great game! It is not gloomy or dark or creepy! Just a great story about a boy that is Allison's best friend who has to save her in a parallel world and thwart the evil Ashton Thorne. The scenes are bright, beautiful and cover many locations. There is a variety of puzzles that keep oneself busy, none of them to difficult to figure out. There is a globe (map), which comes in handy for traveling between the different worlds. The hint recharges in a fair amount of time. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a good all around game. (This game is a good length, which was great for me.)

I found this tucked in the "games you'll love" and it was on sale so I thought I'd buy it. I am glad I did. Though I've only played a short time, I stopped to comment on this game, I found I love this game. The story is very interesting. The graphics are beautiful. And the music perfect for the theme of the game. The puzzles are not that easy, even on the easy mode. The HOs items are easy to challenging to find, which is great. This is like when HO games first came out. You have to look for things and figure out stuff. I can say I have found myself flustered sometimes. But if I step away a bit and come back I usually figure out what to do. The hint may need to be used when you find you've exhausted everything, and it doesn't recharge as quickly as other games. There is not a map so you have to remember where you saw things that later you'll come back to. If you are looking for something different and very challenging this is it. And you can always try the demo first!

I played the first one in this series and enjoyed it. This one has a great story and excellent puzzles. The locations are easy to navigate and contain everything needed to move to the next, so map isn't necessary. I didn't mind having to look around for items because I got to enjoy the scenes. Even though there is a witch there isn't nothing creepy or gloomy in this game. I recommend both the games in this series!

Completed SE: I waited until the SE came out. I didn't want to buy the CE because I had fumbled through a couple of the games in this series I felt were 'bridges' between games. When I saw Isa was in this one I kind of cringed but I was really surprised as the story unfolded. (And I tolerated the magical glass that found the flowers). I enjoyed the variety of puzzles. Having no map or not knowing were to go next made it more challenging, which I liked. All the scenes where beautiful and the music score was great. I can say I don't regret having not boughtthe CE for this game. There is only one thing: this would be a good game to end this series, since this appears to be a sequel to The Song of the Phoenix. Like I said there where some bridge games in the series between the great ones. And I do recommend trying a demo (If available) on any game before you buy it to see if it's for you.

Completed CE: I really enjoyed this! It is a refreshing change on the Ancient Greek stories. There are lots of puzzles that range from easy to hard on regular mode. The voice acting is great. All the scenes are beautifully drawn. The music score is fantastic. The small changes that veer from the traditional Greek myths give the game refreshing twist. And the bonus chapter was excellent...it was a whole different story in itself. I don't buy the CE's all the time, but I'm glad I did this time. If you are a fan of Greek mythology I recommend this game.

This game is a fun laid back game. The story is good and characters talk in text. (Yes, it means you have to use your lazy brain and read.)The graphics are clear, the scenes bright and the music nice. No map needed because all the locations are small and contain all the items needed to move to the next. There is a combination of different types of puzzles, which are easy to medium. There are two types of HOs: normal and circle (find the items and place them in the circles around an the required object). Also, you have to search the scenes to find some of the items needed to complete tasks. I recommend this game to those looking for a nice family game that isn't gloomy!

Completed CE: I was a bit surprised to see another game in this series. I was glad I bought it. It kept me going from start to finish. Fantastic in all categories. There are some new things that made this game different then the others in this series and recent games BF is putting out. And I loved the bonus chapter.(Sorry, no spoilers here!) But I can say the CE is worth buying for the bonus chapter. I recommend all the games in this series!
