I bought this on sale. And well, I'm glad I did. This game is so so different than any BF offers right now. The graphics are bright, colorful, cheery. There's NO story in text or voice acting...it's all told through puzzle solving, which means lots of exploration. The characters I met along the way gave me a task to perform, which was communicated through a bubble drawing. All tasks and puzzles are interlinked in such a way that I ended up completing the tasks & puzzles before moving to the next area. I loved capturing the little bugs to fill the hint meter. I highly recommend this game to all the gamers that love a unique and challenging game. There are NO bells and whistles or map, guide or instructions of any kind on what to do...you have to figure it out on your own. So, if you like every thing given to you I highly recommend playing the demo before you decide to purchase this game.

Completed CE...I played the first two games in this series and really enjoyed them. This one was just as good. The graphics, sound and voice overs are all well done. I liked the variety of puzzles. Most of them are fairly easy to solve, though I did find one or two a bit tough in casual mode. I like the little golem assistant that I had to actually add things to before he could complete a task. I liked the interactive HOS, more than just looking for objects. I liked the story but found it was a bit like the first story in this series. But all in all this is a great game. NO dark or dismal here.

This game is good. The graphics are good. The story is interesting. Most of the puzzles are fairly easy. All in all the game is good to spend passing away a couple of hours on day you can't get out and about.

I like the Margrave series. This is the 2nd installment and shows how the game progressed as games moved from HOS to using cut scenes, voice over, and other types of puzzles. The story is interesting and is still told through notes, letters and newspaper clippings as well as what Edwina and Tom adds. The puzzles are not difficult. The graphics are good. I do recommend all 4 games in this series. The first two are good but the last two are excellent!
Complete dangerous missions amid dazzling landscapes of prehistoric Earth and alien worlds. Can you complete these thrilling puzzles in order to return home?

This game was different, which I was looking for. The story was interesting. The graphics sharp. Lots of puzzles that were fun and a bit challenging in regular mode. There were some unique puzzles I've not seen in other games. There is no voice acting so I had to read the text, which wasn't bothersome. I had to really look around to find some things, which I really liked! A nice bonus was the achievements...no CE required.

Completed SE . I recommend this game for those looking for a good, creepy murder mystery. But WARNING: This game is not suitable for younger audiences or those sensitive this kind of genre do to the graphic and real like nature in some of the scenes. This game is fantastic. I was enthralled all the way through. The story captured my attention and held me to the end. The graphics and sound was excellent. All the puzzles fit perfect with the games theme. The characters were captivating. I thought Vincent Price took the Oscar in the original Portrait of Dorian Gray but I can say this Oscar took the "Oscar" for being just plain pysco and creepy.

(Completed CE) This game has everything. Excellent: story, characters, puzzles, graphics and music. Once I started playing I couldn't stop! I felt I had stepped back into Victorian England. The music was fabulous, though it reminded me of the score in a 1930s/1940s mystery murder movie. I liked how the map showed places of interest but didn't give away everything that needed to be done. Being able to click on the characters and them giving more information added a nice touch to the story. This game was full of twists, trying to figure out who did it kept teasing my brain. And if you don't buy the CE the standard is worth. But buying the CE is worth it for the bonus chapter because it ties the last part of the game together. (And I don't buy every game CE. It takes a great game for me to buy the CE and this is one of them!)

I hate to see this series end. I always looked forward to this one because it's fabulous. I love the time period. The stories are captivating and always keep my interests...no matter how many times I play through the series. The graphics are excellent and the music a winner. The puzzles flow with the game. All the characters are well thought out and the voice overs are perfect acting. This series shines! It is unique! No creepy or dark here!

I am impressed. It's hard to keep a series going that is awesome and Final Cut has done it. My attention was captivated by the plot. I wanted more and got it. I can't wait to see what happens in the next one!

Completed CE: Where to begin but with a sequel that is just as fabulous as the first installment! Same great graphics and music. Fantastic story. Awesome puzzles. In fact, I found I was so taken by the story the puzzles blended right in. All I can say this game is worth buying either the SE or CE.
