Completed:You play Kira, a mischievous young woman who loves playing pranks. But one prank to many gets her in trouble and under house arrest where she receives a letter to capture a creature called a snark.Eventually Kira finds herself able escaped her room and travel between the snark's world through mirrors. After traveling through several worlds Kira finds herself back home with no snark but her adventure only beginning.
A wonderful story that kept my attention. The graphics are bright and cheery. The music catchy. There is a variety of puzzles that are not complicated to solve. What makes it challenging is finding all the scattered pieces needed to complete the items in each scene. Some of the pieces are hidden and require extra steps between scenes. There are NO HOs. No map is required because each (chapter) has maybe a handful of scenes to travel between so everything is contained right there in the areas to complete each chapter before going to the next.
I recommend this game for family friendly and something different than all the gloom and doom BF has had lately.
I can't wait to play the other 2 games in this series.
Completed: This was in my "games you'll love/like" and it was a sale day so I decided to buy it after reading the reviews first. I can say I enjoyed this very much. For the price I got a lot of extra goodies you'd get in a CE.
The story was very well done. The voice acting was good. The music score perfect for the games theme. The graphics were beautiful. The games were a variety and not that hard to do. And I loved that it let me know when I completed that scene. (So make sure to look for all the wanted posters of Robin and hidden stashes of loot.) Also, the shooting games for archery was a nice touch.
You play as Robin Hood. You help the villagers and rid the land of the bad guys as you gain your Merry Band along the way to thwarting Prince John and rescuing your husband. (The secret's out! Robin's a woman in this game!)
I recommend this game for it's family and good ole ye fun!
Completed game: Tremendously enjoyed. Excellent story, though it was not voiced. Graphics were crisp and bright. Sound track was great! The puzzles were easy to semi hard..nothing that couldn't be solved with a little patience. There isn't a map but navigating was no problem. Found had to search each scene thoroughly but that was good because it makes you use your brain.
This was a refreshing change. The story was good. The graphics were perfect for the game theme. The puzzle were easy, nothing to frustrate me! Good, clear HOs. I found there was lots to do in the scenes. The map was great, easy travel...no headaches. The voice acting was good...just one person did the acting...someone with what was a Russian accent. (I got a good laugh when the crazy girl grabbed the journalist. Her voice was hilarious, since only one person did the voice acting for all the characters in the game.) I did find the music score got monotonous after a while because it was pretty much looped. But other than that I like this very much. Good game for a couple of hours of laid back, no brainer fun.
Completed CE: Every year I look for to the next Christmas Story. Again the developers deliver a beautiful story wrapped in a heart warming story with breath taking scenes, fabulous music, and delightful voiced characters. And the variety of puzzles are a mixture of old and new, which adds a flare to the holiday spirit. Though I don't always buy the CE in most games I always to with this series because it is worth the extra chapter.
The spirit Jack helps you after Berta (a witch?) takes your sister for doing bad deeds. You have to perform 3 good acts to fill a special globe/orb Jack gave you so you can defeat Berta. And along the way you have the help of 2 helpers that give you hand to complete tasks. With this said I don't want to spoil any other part of the story because it has a heart warming ending. So you'll have to play to know how it ends.
I've had this game a couple of years and never commented on it. So here is my review: 5 stars for all around family fun!
The story: You are driving your cool 1950s style truck when you are caught in candy storm. You find yourself outside a cottage covered with snow and decorated for Xmas season. Once you get inside you find yourself helping three sweet old ladies who are sisters. As you complete the tasks they give you they help you come closer to wronging the mess they got you in a candy storm.
Though there are only 4 scenes to the game they are packed with lots to do. There are lots of HOs and a variety of other puzzles to complete, which are pretty easy to do. Th e hint recharges quickly and will guide you if you get stuck. All the scenes are beautifully, colorfully done in Christmas themes. The music is holiday perfect. There is at couple of hours of fun for the whole family.
I recommend this game for it's family fun and holiday spirit!
Complete CE: I am not sure where to begin. There was a lot to this game that I enjoyed and liked very much. The story kept me engrossed all the way to the end. I am still trying to place all the pieces of it to get a complete picture. The puzzles were off the top...very well incorporated into the game in such a way that they felt like part of it. Some of them were challenging...I found myself having to look up a part on some of the multipart puzzles. The HOs were very nice...a variety of types. The graphics and music superb. The characters and voice acting excellent.
I like the Mystery Case Files. They are one of my favorite series. I have watched them grow and upgrade as time went by. I still find myself going back and playing all the other ones from time to time. So I highly recommend this game and others in this series.
I recommend this game!

But as Fellina's journey moves forward beautiful cut scenes and pure holiday music she is not unnoticed by the Ice Elf.
So, find your warm clothes, hot cocoa, and mouse clicking finger as you play this delightful game the whole family can enjoy in this heartwarming holiday tale of a little girl's brave mission to rescue Santa and save Christmas.
I have the first Beyond game. It's one of my favorites. So I've waited a long while and wondered if there would ever be another game in this series. Here it is...just as splendid and awesome as the first. And a unique new story that stands on its own.
The concept of this game was different than others games I've seen recently on BF. The story holds it's own because it is different though is about a mother rescuing her son who has the ability to make portal. The game play is fantastic..the way Madhead games always delivers. The puzzles are a variety of old with a blend of some new. The graphics are excellent as well as the music score. The voice acting is superb.
I recommend this game to those that are looking for something different, likes a great story with adventure and keeps you wanting it not to end. Also, if you like scifi or not you might find yourself surprised! Having the SE or CE are worth it.
I recommend this game!

Strange Cases - The Lighthouse Mystery
Clair's partner has turned up dead, and police claim it was a suicide. Discover the truth in this fun Collector's Edition!
Play as FBI Agent Claire Ellery and solve the case of girls gone missing. But what seems a simple case turns into one going back 100 years ago. And what makes the case stranger yet is the suspicious figure leaving a trial of tarot cards for Claire to follow along with other clues.
The story is an intriguing mystery with a couple of twists. The graphics are grainy but I this added to the feel of the game. I enjoyed the music. There isn't any voice acting so I had to read the characters comments. There isn't a map because everything is contained within the area being investigated. Once an area is entered a photo appears and makes fast travel between the scenes possible. The puzzles are not that difficult and there is a variety of different ones. Almost every scene has tarot card(s) that have to be found (some are hidden and require extra steps to find them). The cards contain a list of items to be found in word, shadow or broken up items (find these to get a whole item). Some items found are put into Clarie's breifcase are used to solve other puzzles/tasks.
