This game is so much fun to play. There are 110 levels and mini games after every 5 levels or so. You are once again helping the Wizard create a temple, but this time there is a seventh element in addition to the original six (earth, fire, water, air, light, darkness). The graphics are very nice. Game play is so much fun and challenging enough to keep your interest. Read the instructions, they are very helpful in understanding how the boards work and how to obtain power-ups.
The mini games consist of a solitaire-style card game, find-the-difference scenes and HOS. The HOS and find-the-difference scenes are challenging, which I really enjoyed. The Wizard moves the story along, but there isn't too much reading involved, which was nice. I played the game in relaxed mode, but there is also a timed mode.
I highly recommend this game, along with the original Spellarium.

This is a fun HOS game with mini games interspersed. I enjoy the Hidden Expedition games and this one was no exception. The story line is engaging and the graphics are nice. The HOS are excellent and also get to look for beetles and journal pages in each HOS. There is a hint button in the HOS. In the mini games, the hint button assists with solving the puzzles if you need help. I recommend this game if you are looking for a fun HOS game with a nice story.

I really enjoy the Big City Adventure series when I need a break from some of the more complex games. The adventure to New York was an excellent installment in the Big City series. There are 90 levels with a mini game between each level. The HOS are well done and some of the objects are hard to find. The mini games were fun. The information about each location is always entertaining. The only drawback to this game was the music. I muted it after a few minutes because it was so annoying.
If you are looking for a classic HO game, I highly recommend this game.
Another winner from the Big City Adventure series. I really like the classic HO games when I need a break from some of the more involved games. The trip to Barcelona was fun! The HOS are well done and the difficulty level was perfect in my opinion. I enjoyed the mini games and it is always interesting to read the information about each location. If you are looking for a game that is classic HO, this is an excellent one to select..

I usually enjoy the Big City games, but this one had several annoyances. The biggest annoyance was some of the HO scenes had objects that were invisible. I found myself randomly clicking around hoping to hit something or resorting to using the hint system. The other annoyances were the music (which I muted) and the "word search" mini games. Most of the mini games were fine, but the "word search" games used symbols, not letters. I slogged through the full game, but would not recommend it. There are other Big City games that are far more entertaining.
I don't recommend this game.

The Big Game series is so much fun when you want a classic HO game. This is one of the older games in the series, but it is so much fun. You and the family visit Sydney and learn about various sites around town. Each site has an HO to complete and coins to collect. There are mini games in between each HO. Each site is visited several times (there are 76 levels to this game!). The only annoyance with this game was the music, but it is easily muted. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a relaxing HO game.

I really enjoy the Big City games when I want a break from the more involved games. This is a classic HO game. You and visiting Vancouver with your family. You visit various sites, play an HO at each location followed by a mini game. There are coins to collect in each HO scene.
The HO scenes are fun and some are very challenging. The mini games are fun, but not overly difficult.
I highly recommend this game for those wanting a classic HO game.

Other reviewers have gone over the "ins and outs" of this game. So I will cover my list of pros and cons
Best parts of the main game: nice graphics and engaging HO scenes. Most of the HOS had two or more layers to complete. They were fun to play
Worst parts of the main game: confusing story line, confusing characters and some issues with using items in the inventory. I could overlook the confusing story line and characters, but the issues with the inventory were annoying. The game is very particular about where you place items from the inventory. If not placed exactly where the games wants them, they fall back to the inventory. I will add that the music was annoying and I muted it (which is not uncommon for me).
Bonus chapter: unconnected story line, relatively short, not much fun to play.
Other extras: You can replay the HOS and mini games. I really enjoyed replaying the HOS. There are extra collectibles to obtain. Then the standard extras of music, pictures, cut scenes.

This game was so nice for the Christmas season. Your sister has been taken by an evil spirit and you have to complete several good deeds to free her. You have a couple helpers along the way, which was so much fun.
The three "chapters" of the main game are engaging. There are collectibles to search for throughout the game. The graphics are very nice, the music was pleasant, the voice-overs were well done. The HOS were varied and fun to play. The mini games were fun for the most part.
The ending to the main game was very satisfying. The bonus chapter was not as engaging. The secret room was quite entertaining. The other bonus content is what you would expect...music, achievements, replay HOS, replay mini games, screen savers, etc.
I would skip the bonus chapter, but the other bonus content and the secret room are fun.
This game was fun to play. It has a compelling storyline and keeps you moving along. The graphics are nice. There are not many bells and whistles, but that didn't matter to me. The HOS are nice and there are a lot of them (which I liked). I'm glad I purchased this game.
