I enjoyed this game quite a bit. This is the fourth installment of the series. Even though the storyline is getting a bit tired, this game is fun. The graphics are nice, the HOS were enjoyable (some traditional, some interactive), the mini games were fun and plentiful, the must was a bit annoying after awhile. The journal was helpful. The ending was satisfying and led directly to the bonus chapter. The bonus chapter was a nice extension of the story.
Even though I enjoyed this game, I hope the developers will let this series go after this one as the storyline is played out.
I recommend this game!

The third installment of Echoes of the Past is excellent. The witch is back, you have to travel to various time periods, fix clocks and restore time as it should be. The graphics are excellent, the background music is not annoying, the HOS are good, the mini games are excellent, the storyline is entertaining and the ending of the main game is satisfying.
The bonus chapter adds to the main story and is fun. The only downside is the limited number of locations required doing the same handful of HOS multiple times.
My only complaint with the game is that some items in the HOS are really picky about where you click them. It was more noticeable in the bonus chapter than the main game.
I really enjoyed this game and highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to playing the next installment.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed the first game in this series, but this follow up was so-so.
The good things were nice graphics, fun and inventive HOS, some interesting mini games, lots of places to explore.
The bad things were almost no storyline, SG was not integrated into the game (had to exit to the main menu to access), the music was so annoying I muted after a few minutes, the voice overs were bad (accents were all wrong for the period).
The bonus chapter was really odd. There was no storyline to it. There were a couple of mini games I didn't get to complete because I "completed" the bonus chapter without realizing it was the end.
I don't recommend this game. However, for those that want to play all four games in the series, buy the SE of this game. The bonus chapter isn't worth the money.
I don't recommend this game.

This is such a fun game. You travel to an abandoned island to find two archaeologists. You encounter a kraken and various sea monsters before you find them and realize how corrupt they have become. Then the fun really begins. The graphics are excellent, the cut scenes and voice overs are well done, the HOS are interesting, the mini games are fun, the storyline is a blast and the music is not annoying. The journal is excellent as is the map. The map allows you to jump between locations and shows you which locations have "to do" items. The SG is excellent and gives you a complete walk through of the game.
The ending of the main game was okay, but the bonus chapter really wrapped up the story. The bonus chapter was excellent.
You earn achievements as you move through the game. You also have to look for turtles in various locations, which was a hoot.
This game was well worth the CE price!
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this game. Great extension of the series. The graphics are excellent, the HOS were inventive and fun, the mini games were a hoot, the voice overs were well done, the music was nice, the storyline was very interesting and had a satisfying conclusion. The bonus chapter was fun and extended the story. The SG was excellent and the journal was useful. As you go through the game you gather rewards, which is always fun.
My biggest gripe is all the back-and-forth you have to do to complete the game. A map that allowed you to quickly move to locations would have been nice.
I highly recommend this game.

This game is awesome! You are an archeologist exploring a lost tomb when things begin going wrong, then it get really interesting. The graphics are amazing, the story really pulls you in and keeps your interest, the HOS and mini games are fun. The background sounds are wonderful and very appropriate to the setting. There are no voice overs, so you have to do some reading along the way. The SG and journal are excellent.
The storyline is one of the best I've seen recently. The game moves along nicely and keeps your interest. Plus you get to shoot random mummies/ghosts/vampires, which is hilarious. You earn awards as you move through the game. The main game has a satisfying ending. The bonus game is also fun and extends the story.
This is a really fun game and I highly recommend it.

This game is all HOS and mini games. There are 25 levels and multiple locations within each level. I really enjoyed the HOS, the items are well hidden and fun to locate. The mini games are good. They consist of jigsaw puzzles, match games, word finds and rotate/swap tiles to make a picture. They are repetitive throughout the game. I got tired of the jigsaw puzzle mini games, but enjoyed the rest of them. You earn points, skill levels and tablet pieces as you progress through the game. The hint button is helpful and recharges quickly.
I highly recommend this game for those seeking a HOS only game.

This game was such fun to play! The story is engrossing, the journal/log is useful, the graphics are excellent, the cut scenes are great, the voice overs are acceptable, the music is not annoying like most games, the HOS are excellent, the mini games are fun and the ending is satisfying. For the most part, the game has a light, airy feel even though you are racing to solve the mystery. It is a nice change from the dark, creepy feel of some games. (I have nothing against dark and creepy games, I own quite a few; however, sometimes I need a break from them.)
My only annoyance was a few of the HOS items have odd labels. For example, a "tea service" actually turns out to be a teacup and saucer, a "knitting needle" is actually either a crochet hook or tatting hook. There weren't many mis-labeled items, but it was annoying.
Even with the annoyance, I highly recommend this game. It is a fun story and fun game.
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game quite a bit. The graphics are great, the cut scenes are well done, the HOS are fun and most of the mini games are fun. The music and voice overs are well done. You travel to various locations searching for missing members of the unsolved mysteries club. The hint button recharges quickly, though you won't need it very often. The game has a satisfying conclusion.
The game has a few annoyances. The most annoying was that certain scenes required very, very, very precise clicking to use an inventory item. Some the HOS had this same problem. The game also requires some time to load between scenes.
Even with the annoyances, the game was fun and I enjoyed playing it.
I recommend this game!

I really had fun with this game. It is not overly challenging, but I enjoyed it. The HOS at the beginning of the game are really excellent, you find objects, combine them, reuse them to find more objects. The game is very linear, with explicit tasks. The journal is okay, I didn't refer to it very often. The music during the main game was excellent....not intrusive, not annoying. The voice overs were acceptable. The cut scenes are excellent. The mini games were not overly challenging, but were enjoyable. I had a lot of fun with the "lab case" you use to make potions. It was somewhat goofy, but I really had fun with it.
The SG is built in and excellent. You won't have to use it very often, but is a nice addition. The hint button seems to recharge quickly. I only used it a couple of times.
The bonus chapter was a nice conclusion to the story. The way the main game ended, you were left hanging. In some ways, the bonus chapter was more fun than the main game. The animals scattered throughout the game were so funny. Some of them made no sense whatsoever, but most of them made me chuckle.
The few annoyances in the game are the Dr. Blackmore voice over (which is really annoying), the music in the bonus chapter (it has a pounding beat and I muted it quickly) and a technical glitch where I got stuck and couldn't pick up an item (I exited/restarted the game and it worked without a problem).
While the first game in this series was the best, I enjoyed this game and recommend it.
I recommend this game!
