Really liked this game. Thought the different setting via the paintings was a nice touch. I thought it was logical and didn't generally have a lot of retracking.
Hidden object games were OK. I would recommend for those that like HOPAs. Just wished it was a tad longer.
I recommend this game!

I loved the first two installments, but found this one to be less satisfying. I was annoyed by some of the puzzles as they almost seemed like they were in the way rather than part of the story.
The game is short, maybe a couple hours of game play.
I found the last part of the game more interesting that the early segment.
I don't think I would recommend this after playing the first two

I really liked this game. It was immersive and made you think. You had to solve puzzles and consider how to get out of situations rather than just find an object in a "hidden object" scene.
This reminds me of the games I used to play when PC adventures were KING - Gabriel Knight, Syberia, Indiana Jones.
Worth the price. Yes sometimes the dialogue is long but you can read it fast and skip thru if you don't want to listen. Graphics were good, game play good.
If you liked the old adventures that were part puzzle, part inventory-based solutions, then this game is for you.
I wish Big Fish would convert some of the old classics for download such as the Star Trek games, Kyrandia, Indiana Jones, Gabriel Knight. I would be in heaven!
I recommend this game!

The game was pretty good. I generally like a blend of adventure and HOG. This one seemed to start out well with a fairly even distribution, but at the end it seemed it was one after another.
I played at a higher level of difficulty and at times did have a problem understanding where I should go as it seemed rather vague as to my next step.
All in all, a pretty good game except for the end rush thru HOGs to acquire items to do the next action.
I would recommend to those that really like more HOG than puzzle/adventure.
I recommend this game!

I liked this game as it had some uniques about it. It wasn't just a castle, princess game. It had some interesting game play with having to use specific statues to accomplish various functions. The HO games were pretty good as well but enjoyed the puzzles even more.
Game play was about 3 hours...hard to estimate as I had a break in between.
Would recommend this game.

I was disappointed in this game.
The puzzles were too easy and rather juvenile (paint by number or find the wrong things with this picture). Others were boring and I skipped them rather than waste time.
The story line was uninteresting.
I just wanted to finish it but not that I cared about the resolution to the story.
I don't recommend this game.

This was the best game I played on GF. I loved the space environment. The storyline was great. Games were fun. Didn't even mind the HO games which I generally find to be intrusive in furthering the story.
I liked the Bonus chapter as well. Many of the minigames were not difficult but they were still fun to play to find an item or bit of knowledge that you needed to make progress.
This game reminds me of the types of games I used to buy in the early days of PC gaming.
Please make more game like this that veer from the typical occult, ghost, fairy subject matter. Don't get me wrong...I like those types of games too but this one had more of an edge to it and the environment gave you the lonely feel of trying to determine the mystery of this abandoned place.
Great game!!
I recommend this game!

I felt like this game was nothing more than a sequence of activities to allow you to end the game. I didn't think the story line was intriguing. It felt flat.
Some of the puzzles were interesting. Many times I would collect something and have no idea where I was supposed to use it. Often the minigames were available but you didn't have the right item so you had to go hunting and might not be sure what you needed.
I read the reviews and cannot agree with some of the stellar comments. It just seemed rather silly. Very non-immersive.
I think there are a lot better games on BF so wouldn't recommend.
I don't recommend this game.

I was playing the 2d part of this game on my Kindle and decided to try the PC version of the 1st game. The game reminded me somewhat of Myst. It had somewhat of a lonesome feel as you wandered thru the various areas - which added to the atmosphere. It wasn't some cutesy game, but had a slight edge. The puzzles were not nearly as difficult as Myst. In fact some had been modified to be easier compared to other versions of the same puzzle I have played in earlier games.
I liked the game play. It was logical and the game even tells you when an area you are in is "clear" meaning you have finished all activities. This way you dont have to revisit locations to determine if you really finished all the puzzles.
I would recommend this game because it had a good feel, the puzzles were fun, even the HO games were OK.
My only complaint would be that it should be longer.

I liked this game. It was very pretty. The HO games were interesting as you had to actually do things with other objects to create the "hidden object" you needed. For instance, the object might be a red anchor and you had to find a brush, find a paint can opener, open the can, use the brush to paint the anchor...all before you could claim the red anchor. I found that much more satisfying than staring bleary eyed at a screen wondering where the object is. It was more inventory and puzzle based than HO which I thought was more challenging.
All in all, it was not a "head scratcher" game as you generally knew what you needed to do and just had to either solve a puzzle and/or find an item.
I recommend this game.
