What witches??? A few witch ghosts but the storyline seemed to be more about wars, politicians and land. HOs were small and hard to see. The overall visual was dark. The raven hint was no hint at all unless you gave him an object so he could show you where to use it in some other scene. No VOs, just printed dialogue and no animation. The raven's constant cawing was annoying. Also contained the usual jumping from scene to scene. The bottom line? Boring.
I don't recommend this game.

Great game. The scenery was fabulous. VOs and HOs were good, some interactive. Though this was a CE, didn't bother to play the bonus game. Maybe at a later date. The hint character and map were very helpful eliminating the need to constantly jump from scene to scene.
I recommend this game!

Could not finish this game. It was, for me, too technical, difficult to follow and soon became boring. Scenes were beautiful, the music relaxing and you have the choice of scrolling scenes if you don't have a problem with motion sickness. I enjoy scrolling and zooming scenes. VOs were fine but the characters were wooden. Too many tasks to do at one time which confused me. Couldn't get into this game. HOs were fine but required a great deal of searching because some items were not on the list.
I don't recommend this game.

If you played Green Hills and enjoyed it, you will enjoy its sequel, Haunted Halls: Fears from Childhood, as well. Loved the suspense, characters and VOs. HOs and puzzles were great. Visual quality was excellent. The tentacles cracked me up. They were a tad creepy. This game, like many others, has the usual jumping from scene to scene, but when the hint button says "there is nothing to do here", I moved on. Was glad I didn't have to wander around aimlessly.
I recommend this game!

A pleasure to play. Creepy and spooky. Wish there had been more animation and VOs but, hey, you can't have everything. lol The HOs and puzzles were great, some easier than others. There was the usual jumping from scene to scene but the hint button was my friend when it told me there is nothing to do here. lol I enjoyed it and besides, I always did love lighthouses.
I recommend this game!

Could not finish this game. It became tedious and boring. I had inventory items I could not use and items that were needed, could not find. The HOs were good but too many puzzles for my taste. The storyline re: paranormal abilities I enjoyed because it's always been of interest to me but it dragged on. The VOs and use of live actors were great. Too much jumping from scene to scene. Just glad I did not purchase the CE, if there is one.
I don't recommend this game.

Very suspenseful. Kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time . VOs were good but, as always, I prefer the characters to be more animated. The music could be annoying at times but I tuned it out. HOs were a mixed bag, some items smaller and harder to find than others. Puzzles were good. A creepy game worth playing.
I recommend this game!

I don't normally purchase CEs but this game was certainly worth the money. It was excellent in every way. For me, close to the end and how it turned out was no surprise because of the game description but I loved the mystery, the HOs and puzzles. Character animation and VOs were outstanding.
I recommend this game!

Tried to play this game 3 times to give it a fair chance but couldn't take anymore. Don't like silhouette HOs, items were difficult to find and had to jump from scene to scene even with a map. Too many instructions for achievements which never did interest me. Characters were cartoonish with no VOs. Not an enjoyable game and a waste of money.
I don't recommend this game.

Like part one, Curse of the Full Moon, this game was just as good if not better. The music became annoying at times so I tuned it out. My main concern was to save that little girl. I have a feeling there's a part three coming on this one. HO scenes were good, however, some of the puzzles drove me batty trying to solve so I hit that skip button more than once. LOL Again, the "ahhhh", sigh of relief, every time I found an inventory item. Excellent game!!! Looking forward to part 3??
I recommend this game!
