I was impressed at how very detailed this restaurant ownership game is. It has very relaxed play, no mad dashing around but will require HEAVY strategy in a tycoon fashion.
At the start of each day you can change any of your vast settings for how the day will run. You must staff your restaurant, train your employees and assign them to tasks wisely. You must acquire new recipes and carefully plan a menu (not all of your recipes will be helpful in a particular restaurant). You'll then fluctuate the price of each dish based on the reputation of your restaurant or skills of your chefs!.Your furniture and decoration placement or overall ambiance can effect the success of your day. Budget well for advertisement and pay careful attention to your business increase from one day to the next so you can handle the workload.
Hopefully over time you'll expand to multiple restaurants with varied menu themes and build an "Empire" ... Are you up to the challenge?

I absolutely LOVED this adventure game and found it to be extremely challenging, simply amazing in graphics with an enthralling story line. This is the most unique game I have encountered! I have not found anything like it before or since (excepting, of course, it's sequel).
The game opens with you playing as Mina as she is making a crash landing on this Jules Verne inspired island. There is really no helpful tutorial, you must figure things out for yourself. It becomes obvious that people have been to this place before and left some things behind both littering the island with useful materials and booby trapping it.
You walk around the island as you would in real life and look for pieces of cloth, sticks, rocks, flint and things like that to craft yourself a knife or create a fire. As Mina thinks out loud things like "It's too high, if only I had a way to get up there" she gives you little clues as to what you need to do next. There is no "hint" button to help you along, you must rely on your own brain, something any intellectual will appreciate!
You will, however, encounter an adorable monkey as an animal companion that is very helpful when you can figure out how to utilize his skills.
The mini games range from simple to incredibly hard (one almost had me in tears of frustration) and THANK YOU to whomever designed this without using a single hidden object sequence. There are too many games that rely on that, this one was very unique and refreshing!
I have played this game through more than once but it doesn't have a really high replay value unless you keep it in the treasure box for years as I have. Do not let that discourage you, this is not a game you can beat in a day... it is a full fledged adventure almost on par with a $50 console game!
I recommend this game!

I have played all of the virtual villagers series and always enjoyed this real time game in which I could play for an hour or two at a time or check in 10 minutes a day when I have a busy week. This is time consuming to beat and the puzzles are very difficult.
This differs from the rest of the series in that you are on an island already occupied by "Heathen" villagers that restrict your movement on the island with their aggression. You must slowly convert the heathens with your new skill of "Devotion" into believers to gain access to vital portions of the island one by one. Your villagers also earn divine powers based on population that can do things like spawn butterflies, create lightning or rain, revive a villager from the dead and even regress an elder back to childhood with their skills intact.
This is the only game of the series that I played long after I beat all the puzzles to earn every trophy in the game and even set a personal goal of breeding villagers maxed in all skills until I had each and every unique looking male and female in my little perfect utopia.
Best of the bunch.... I would recommend this to anyone!

I love the entire Turbo series, I purchased this game in 2008 and here I am in 2018 writing the review because I have played it through to the end a dozen times and have not tired of it!
I found this mad rush to serve customers their specified food to be more challenging than most time management games which gave me a strong appreciation for it. The visual setting is cute and the upgrades to the environment are as well.
I recommend this game!

This is, hands down my favorite match 3 game and I never seem to tire of playing it. Very relaxed play with a larger than normal playing field so when you get stuck there is always somewhere to go.
What I appreciate the most though is the fish- yes, the fish. As you progress you earn coins to purchase and decorate numerous fish tanks. When you populate these tanks with fish they swim around and entertain you with the little games they play, synchronized swimming and jokes every time you return to the tanks. I am impressed at how many different amusements the game developers programmed in.
Once I tried to delete a fish in one of my tanks but as soon as I rolled the mouse over it with the net the fish looked straight at me, got SUPER sad eyes and wiggled a little.... I just couldn't do it.
I recommend this game!

This is a life simulation game where the goal is to find a job, educate yourself, advance in your career and to beat your opponent doing so.
I have played multiple versions of this same game and was still confused as to how the daily time units penalties worked for going to bed hungry or unhappy... I felt the tutorial was strongly lacking.
The graphics were poor, no customization options were available for my sim or their home and game content like dating/ raising a family was left out altogether.
If you would like to play a much better version of the same game please check out the Life Quest games... they are much better!

In this game you play as a character starting out in life and the goal is to not only to find a job, advance your career and become successful but to do it faster than your friends from high school.
I have played many versions of this same game with a different look (as we all have, I presume). This one is my favorite because the tutorial is excellent, the customization options on your sim and your home are excellent and it's simply fun to play! I've played this game a number of times to completion and know that I will again!

I've been getting games from BF for 11 years. This is one of the very small handful of games that is unlike any other I have played. It's fun, challenging and has a cute story. I've beaten it many times and still come back for more!
I recommend this game!
