For a non-standard Mahjong with a bit of adventure to it, this is excellent. I found it a joy to play and the sounds of the scarabs (you'll understand once you play the game) fun to listen to. The object is to find the golden key blue tiles as quickly as possible and you don't have to remove all the tiles to do so. The different layouts, animation, graphics and sounds are excellent.
This was my first windows based mahjong game and will always be my first love out of all my mahjongs.
This is a fun game but it might be worthwhile reading some of the suggestions, tips and hints from the games forums to understand certain aspects of the game play. While fun it can seem long and never ending and I used this game and others to break the occasional tedium of the long plays. There is a bit of a challenge to this match 3 but not overly hard. As for the graphics and sound quality... they are very good. If one spreads this game out over time and in between other games then it will stay enjoyable.
One tip I do give you is... Buy the town pieces in order and definitely do not buy the last piece before the others. If you do you can't buy the other pieces afterwards.
This has everything one could want in a match 3 game... 7 different styles of match 3 to keep you from getting bored. Enough hindrances to make it challenging but not too easy and not too hard. Then there is the graphics, the game play, the interface and the sounds; all of which are top notch. As for the blue monkey... you either love him or hate him but I loved his laugh whenever I made larger matches. Well worth the time, effort and money.
As a match 3 I love this game. I found it fun and couldn't stop until I either had to eat, sleep or finally finish the game. The graphics and game play are good quality and smooth; I love the artwork. While I tend to have my sounds turned down so as not to annoy the rest of the household, from what I remember the sounds were good as well. For me, there was some challenge to it and that just increased my enjoyment of the game.
I bought this because it was recommended to me. As a lover of Mahjong (in its various spellings) I was greatly disappointed with this version. Having played other versions from BFG I have been spoilt by their quality; it reminded me of the old first time windows 95 styled interfaces. If you are after something like that and simple with a 3d game play then you might like it.
Been a while since I played this game but what I remember was that it was okay. I don't believe it was overly challenging but I didn't mind it. The visuals and sound quality are good however. Over all, I've played it every time I've updated my computer/s... which is probably 3 or 4 times now.
