Note to self; do not purchase a game without trying the demo first. That's what I did with this one since I have all the other Spirit of Mystery games and loved them. I had a hard time finishing this because I was not pleased with it at all. In fact, I didn't even play the bonus game. What in the world were the developers thinking?? This was nothing like the others. You can bet that if another Spirit of Mystery is created I'll play the demo first. What a disappointment. Other comments have explained the details of this game, so I won't go into that.
I don't recommend this game.
Use the power of the magic cards and rebuild the elven island!

I just finished the demo, and then I bought it. This is a fun solitaire game and it has features I haven't seen before. You get wild cards in each lay out but they are numbers as well as Kings and Aces, etc, If you have something like a 9, 10, jack showing, and you have an 8 on a wild card, you click it and it goes on your foundation card. I really like this aspect. Periodically you get to work a puzzle, and also assemble an artifact, like a sword, they show parts of it and you play the field to collect the parts one by one. I like the graphics and the story line You gather crystals to use in rebuilding the elf city that was destroyed by an earthquake. I like games that you can build or create gardens, etc. Now and then a card shows up on the board that has chains across it, and you have to locate the key to open that card. It's hidden in the layout. As I said, this is a fun solitaire game, and now I'm going back to playing it.
I recommend this game!
Bring your sweetheart along in this lovely Solitaire adventure!

This is a very enjoyable solitaire game. There's only so many ways to make a solitaire game different, but Jewel Match did it again. In this one you also win coins and stars to build a scenery as you go along. The graphics and art work are awesome, and the music is not overbearing.There are many various aspects to the play, and you can buy things that you can use against different obstacles that show up on the cards.One thing I would like is if you could go back and read the instructions. They show it all to you in the beginning, so you have to pay close attention since you can't go back later and re-read them. But even so, it's not hard to figure out in the play if you forget one or two. The play is higher or lower number, Ace's can use a two or a King. I played this game for a couple of hours last night and there's still a lot to be played. Also, you can play the bonus game of Majong if you like, in-between.This is a very enjoyable game and makes you think carefully about which are the best moves to make. It gets your brain to working.
Return to Nerinia and save the neighboring kingdom Merovina in this epic match-3 adventure! Build majestic monuments for the prosperity of the realm!

I've been hoping that another Jewel Match 3 would come soon, and I was delighted to see this on here today. I have all the Jewel Match 3 games and I really liked the first Jewel Match Royale. I loved that story line and it's a treat to see that this one has the same characters, with a new one added, with a new story line. You can play relaxed, timed, or limited moves. There are similarities to the last one in the playing field, but there's also a new play you can choose that gives you extra bonuses if you want to play it. You try to get all the tokens removed by dropping them down. There's also the bonus game of Majong.. And of course the garden play so you collect stars to put objects on the building site. The graphics are beautiful, and the sounds effects are good, too. I've been replaying the first Jewel Match Royale, and now I can turn my attention to this 2nd one. This is a definite buy for me.
I recommend this game!
The Kingdoms of Lanceya and Winterhelm are in peril!

I really enjoyed playing the demo, and I will soon own it. I loved the characters, but one complaint I have, and maybe some will disagree with me, is that when there is fairy's involved they always have high squeaky voices! Just once I've love to hear the voice be a grown woman's, or at least the voice of a teen age girl. It's hard to take a fairy seriously when she has that high squeaky voice. For some reason that irks me. The rest of the demo was very enjoyable. You collected dwarf objects, pink lilies, and chess pieces.Some of the collectibles are in the scenes when you click on something to see what it's about. I didn't see any morphs. The HO's were fun...some you had to find the objects, some with shadows of the objects,some that were interactive, and some were story form; I really like the story forms HO's. I can't say much about the mini games because I skip those when I play a demo and have limited time. The graphics are great, and I love the looks of the king and princess. SHE doesn't have a squeaky voice! lol The game is filled with bright colorful scenery, even though it's winter time. I almost always don't like games that are all winter scenes, but this one was fine. When it was dark you could still see everything clearly. I can't wait to buy it....hopefully this coming week-end will have a good sale. If not, I'm buying it anyway.

Good grief, what an awful game. It's nothing as described. I've waited and waited for a match 3 game, and this is what we get? I've got some great match 3 games from BF, but this is not even close to being one. Are developers just not making match 3's as often now? I'm passing on this one.
I don't recommend this game.
The city is being taken over by dark forces!

Excellent game! I can tell that a lot of thought and creativity went into the making of this game. Others have told all the bells and whistles, (and believe me there are plenty of those).so I won't go in to all of that. But I will say that this game has a lot of different kinds of HO's and mini games that I haven't seen before, and I own a LOT of HO's games. I really enjoy the story HO's and I wish more games would lean in that direction.The art work is awesome, the music is great for the game; I seldom have the music on in games but I did this time, and the animation is awesome. The bonus game is fairly long, which is a good thing, and when you're finished you can go in to the 'extras' and be able to go back to the scenes and re-do them in case you missed any collectibles, morphs, or had to find HO's that you may have used a hint for., and also the mini games. If I had any complaints about this game it would be that it's not long enough; but that could be because I didn't want it to end and so it seemed shorter. lol I would also have liked to see something that told if you've seen all the morphs and collectibles in a scene. But since you can find that out in the extras and be able to go back and find them I guess that wouldn't really be necessary. I bought his game right after playing the demo, and I just finished the bonus game. This will be a game that I will play more than once. You picked a real winner with this one, BF!

I love this game. I have Queen's Garden 1, and 2. This one is like #2 but not only are there flowers to place in the garden there are Halloween decorations, too. And some of the flowers are new, although some are the same as in #2. Even the queen and king are in costume. You can view the garden in the daylight, and also view it in the nighttime to see all the lamps, glowing carved pumpkins, etc. The playing field is large and can be played relaxed or timed. You can also create more than one garden if you like. I don't know how I missed this game last Halloween but I'm glad I found it. It's very entertaining. I like match 3 games that have you building things or creating gardens, etc. I get too bored otherwise. .
I recommend this game!

I have the game before this one, Enchanted Kingdom: A Dark Seed, and I enjoy this one just as much. I prefer games of fantasy more than modern time games, although I have both types. This game is bright and colorful and I like every thing about it. Others have commented about the bells and whistles, so I won't go there, except to say the graphics are wonderful and I like that there are many different characters in it. It was a definite buy for me. I look forward to more Enchanted Kingdom games. Great pick, BF!

I found this game a bit confusing; compared to Silver Tale which is one of my fav match 3 games. I played the demo on this one, and ended up buying it since I had a freebie coming. I don't like it near as well as Silver Tale. The gaming board is too dark and I don't like that the tokens are animated. Either I'm blind, or I'm missing something about this game, but I have yet to see the red tokens that are spoken of. How can I collect what isn't shown?? And when you use a bomb the screen goes black. What's up with that? I'm not sure that's good for my computer. Does this happen to everyone else or is it a glitch in my puter? I like the land board and the various people talking to you, and everything is nice and colorful in Silver Tale, and this game lacks those qualities.. However, I bought it, so I'll finish it, but it will be a one time play for me. Right now I'm going back to Silver Tale which I've been playing for a couple of days. This one can wait. It's not near as enjoyable. There are many more features to Silver Tale. The one good thing about MatchVentures is that you can play it relaxed. I'll give it that much.
