Everything about this game is awesome. Lot's of different action here. The story doesn't even matter because you become so engrossed in the game, however a woman goes to a Celtic festival to search for her ex-husband whom she believes to be in trouble. This game has good graphics, good music, achievements and has some of the most clever Ho's and puzzles i've seen yet. The HO might make you find an object outside of the HO come back and use that item, or you might have to do a puzzle in order to even get to the HO! I think this game will hit the mark for adventure, hidden object, and puzzle gamers,
I recommend this game!

This one's different, but you're going to enjoy playing the game. First of all the music is annoying especially during the HO's! The best I can describe it is elevator music, do yourself a favor and turn the music off! The story is about a deliveryman summoned to a small town by a toy inventor to deliver a package with a vital machine. When he gets to the town it is surrounded by an electrical field with everything electrical going haywire! There is a problem with the toy robots, and thats where your quest begins. The graphics are crystal clear and well done. The HO's are interactive and the developer did a good job of hiding objects in plain view. There weren't enough puzzles in my opinion and the map feature was only for traveling, giving no clues to the tasks in those areas. No voice overs just written dialog and no "beyond objects" or achievements. At the very least, give the demo a try and see if this is the game for you.

I played the SE demo of Detective Quest: The Crystal Slipper and I was having fun. The graphics are beautiful, bright colors with many cute animals as well as the strange evil creatures lurking around. The adventure begins when the prince summonds you (the detective) to find the woman who stole his heart and then left the ball before he could find out who she was. As you search the kingdom on a unicorn you encounter dangerous creatures fought off by your hunting team of royal dogs. There is a map that allows you to travel to different locations as well as provide tasks. The HOS is reversed giving you the items that you need to place where they belong in the scene with some interactions to the next objects placement. I really enjoyed the puzzles although not difficult some of them were time consuming. Another feature of this game is a photo collection in which you are provided with a camera to photograph various animals during your journey.(pay attention to the photo icon when encountering animals because you only get one opportunity!) A fun and relaxing game.

A game that fantasy world fans will enjoy. I did not. Somehow a girl named Amy is in posession of a pendant that will save the fantasy world as well as the real world from the Dark Lord who has already killed the King and is taking over otherworlds. Classic good versus evil plot with glowing mushrooms and cute fuzzy makebelieve animals! Lots of bright pink and purple colors. I don't like HO's that have the player travel to several different locations, with several areas requiring an action of sorts but you have nothing in your inventory and nothing to do but go to the next and the next scene. This game does have a map in which to travel to different locations which is a plus, and the HO's are somewhat interactive.
I don't recommend this game.

Played the demo and planning to buy! You will love this game as well. This game has a little bit of everything.. Creepy villian, evil jester clown puppet, missing teenagers, classic books with portals, and thats just in the demo! The HO's are reversed where you are given the item in your inventory and you have to place them into the scene. The puzzles are entertaining not difficult but the kind that makes you think, swapping pieces to make a portrait, dividing equal weights on a scale, moving a figure through a maze with specific number of moves etc. The inventory items you collect throughout the game does require going back and forth a bit,(map available) but it is easy to figure out where they go and what they are used for. So play on easy mode and relax or go for hardcore either way I'm sure you will enjoy!

I have to admit I was entertained by this game. I didn't play the first Mirror Mystery but I don't think it matters. Tommy found an evil mirror that had been broken and hidden away since he was a boy. After reassembling and entering the mirror realm Tommy goes missing and his sister goes to find him. You search for mirror shards throught the game and it is loaded with HO's of a different kind. You must find parts of an object then use that assembled part on the scene (such as a screwdriver) to uncover another piece to complete before getting the last item for your inventory. Even though it wasn't a typical "list" HO, it was actually a little challenging to find the items. The mirror realm itself is a little on the wierd side and almost like a childs cartoon.

This game was just okay for me. There are no HO scenes, only items to find and use along the way, most of which are used almost immediatly. The puzzles are extremly easy such as swapping tiles or moving puzzle pieces, nothing even remotely challenging. The game is about a detective trying to nab an unruly and evil looking clown ( who is always one step ahead) because a woman named Sarah had been attacked and robbed of the evidence she had collected about her husbands murder on a live television show. The dialog is written in boxes that you have to click to continue and the graphics are good but more cartoonish than realistic. I recommend this game only as a game to keep you busy or while waiting on a better game to come along.

I played this demo on the hard setting and I really can't tell you what is going on in the story. It begins in a "new" world where there are floating rocks and a blimp controlled by machines that need power to run. You get this power by searching for items in various hidden object scenes. The HO's as well as the puzzles are super easy and not much fun. I was often confused as to what I was supposed to do or where I was supposed to go next. I felt an obligation to finish this demo to give my honest opinion of the game, however the game froze about half way through and I was glad I didn't have to finish!
I don't recommend this game.

I just finished playing the demo and I will probably buy it. Dark Canvas: A Brush With Death has a really good storyline about a father who goes looking for his daughter who has vanished in Italy while visiting a famous artist that paints pictures of the future. The townspeople are frightened by a mysterious dark figure known as the sillouette! People are just vanishing! The graphics are good and the HO's are interactive (open a book to find a flask for example) the puzzles are not to hard and are enjoyable. Some of the HO's are in the same place. This is a relaxing game that most level of gamers will enjoy.
I recommend this game!

I played this demo when it first came out in CE and didn't purchase until a sale on this game in SE tempted me to buy. I wish I would have gotten the collectors edition because I love the feature of searching for "special" hidden objects throughout the game with added achievments as well and this version didn't have either. With that being said this game was still fun to play with wonderful graphics and a really good storyline. I liked the fact that as a psychic delves deeper and deeper into "Jane Doe's" mind you get a different setting to play in such as a desert, an oasis,a house,a town etc. Very clever way to be able to use different scenery. The HO's are very well done and puzzles are somewhat challenging. It also has a map for traveling and checks off the areas that have been completed. Overall this is a good game to purchase.
