The first cases of documented vampirism were in a small village of Kisilova and you have been ordered to go there and investigate over 9 deaths in one week. You haven't even made it across the river yet and already sabotage is showing it's ugly hand. Someone is cutting ropes to your ferry and chopping down trees to block your path, but why? The graphics are good and the voiceovers are good and you have the option of turning off the voiceovers in options setting. There are only two options of difficulty but the game itself isn't that hard to figure out and has a good hint system. The HOS are slightly interactive, click on a curtain and the curtain draws back to expose something. There is one feature that is different, several items in the game scenes are interactive, pictures move and clank when you run your cursor over them, dogs wag their tails, owls hoot, frogs jump etc. The mini games aren't hard and can be skipped in either mode, the usual repeat the pattern of arrows that light up in order or fixing pipes to connect one end to the other. Not a bad game, entertaining with a good (and true) storyline. Enjoy!

This is a different game somewhat olden type graphics, clear but not quite lifelike. There are a lot of HOS and they are dark but you can still find things it just takes a little longer, Only two modes of difficulty and the map only takes you to different locations you have to go to the rooms within that building yourself. There are no voiceovers, the characters are well done but the dialog is simply reading and clicking to continue. The story is intriguing a murder has taken place and has left a gruesome storybook trail dubbing the murderer as the hardcover book murderer. The hint system is excellent and will take you room to room and then show you the place and what inventory item should be used. Not a waste of time, fun, just not on the level of some of the recent games. Enjoy!
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema!

Yep, the apple don't fall far from the tree...I had a hard time deciding whether to give this 4 stars or 5 because in the CE there are morphing objects which I absolutely love and the SE doesn't. That being said, I decided to rate this game for what it is, a standard edition, and in my opinion it is an excellent game. I am very fond of the creepy scary genre with deranged characters and this game is exactly that. You learn that the grandson of the other fear for sale series is now responsible for the disappearance of a select group of people invited to a movie premier in an old abandoned cinema. What does he want from these people, what have they done to him? The graphics are incredible even though most of the scenes are dark, the voiceovers and cutscenes are very professional and the story is very good tying it into the other fear for sale games. The HOS are clear, the names for the items are understandable (this has been a problem in some games like a dall if you recall) you also have the option of switching to a jigsaw but the puzzles are super easy and the pieces are already outlined. The HOS are interactive and the CE even has morphing objects in the HOS. The puzzles are a little time consuming but totally doable such as an opening with several skulls that you have to click on the skulls to have their facial expressions and color match your inventory picture but when you click on one, others may change as well. Lot's of inventory items, plenty to do in each scene, a great map that indicates areas of interest an allows quick traveling. There are 4 levels of difficulty from casual with sparkles and unlimited clicking to hardcore your on your own no skipping or misclicks allowed and you can change this setting at any time. A definite candidate for purchase. Enjoy

If you like rockets or simulator type games then this is the game you've been waiting for. I will say that I played the demo selection and you have to answer several space related questions that I thought was very educational as well as the fact that in the beginning they explain all about the first satellite launch and talk about JFK's race for space. The game itself was too slow paced and you had to use the keyboard for walking and during simulations and that's too old fashioned for my taste. I think this game might be too hard for younger kids and older kids and adults will become bored quickly.

In the beginning, a cutscene of a beautiful but mortally wounded wolf lies next to an infant human baby. A kind man takes this baby and raises him as his own. This man is a doctor and, as you begin to have flashbacks, healed you with a potion. the foster father has now disappeared and now that you are a doctor as well, you will head for your hometown to search for clues and heal people along the way. Then out of nowhere, a wolf attacks your buggy and causes a crash! You pick up pieces of diary pages (why is everyone's diary pages blowin' in the wind?) and start to realize that werewolves are real, and that your foster father was able to separate human and wolf essence to cure you as well! Good story right? The graphics are awesome, clean and clear and cutscenes are movie quality. You will discover that this is a mini game haven. Even the inventory items have puzzles to figure out. When you pick up some of the items. they will have an "eye" above indicating that something else can be done. Click on this item to reveal a mini game, most are simple and a clue will be found to solve such as a figure of Divinci's Vitruvian man, with moveable arms and legs, you will find a picture showing where his arms and legs should be positioned and you click to move them into the desired position, There aren't to many HOS but most of them are extremely interactive such as picking up pliers, using the pliers to remove nails from a crate, finding a broken plate inside and matching the other piece of the broken plate to that piece. Wow, what more could you ask for? There aren't any achievements, but who cares, this is a puzzle waiting to be solved and the bonus content has wallpapers extra play bonus and more HOS. This is absolutely worth buying. Enjoy!

So the beautiful bride and her handsome husband arrive at the hotel for their honeymoon and the bride goes to sleep!? When she wakes up she reads a note from her husband that he's out jogging. When she goes outside she see's her husband and clearly he's not well. No need for panic... just search the town for clues and maybe even a cure! You learn that a scientist invented a vaccine with no side effects, or so they thought. They are turning into zombies, angry zombies that are not only afraid of water, but if they get wet (especially after midnight) they pulverize! I personally like this game, it even has random achievements, not bad for a SE. The HOS are interactive and are well done. The graphics are clear and crisp and some good heart pumping undead music. Most of the puzzles are simple, the hardest one was to take away pegs from several small triangles and leave only 4 exact triangles, but even that was easy. The game starts out a little slow in the motel room and then when you go outside because everything you come across needs another part and almost nothing in your inventory, but shortly after that the parts you need are popping up and lots of things to do. The hint system points which direction to go or what item to use. Well done, Demons and Despair, Enjoy!

First of all I only saw 2 zombies one was at the beginning as just a brief flash and the other chained up on the pier, that's all I get in one hour? Now onto the game, it really isn't that bad. The graphics are awesomely clear, somewhat repetitive music that sounded similar to the Halloween movie. The problem is that you have to click on pointer to get a game cursor during settings and when you scan over items pay close attention to the cursor it will barely indicate something needs to be picked up. Then in the HOS the items in blue are somewhat difficult to find because from what I can tell there is no indication to click on a pillow so it moves to reveal beads, and a ventilator is a fan? They also double up HOS going back to the same area twice. Nothing much in the mini game sections, place gears correctly so they all move or figuring out a safe combination. The game does however sparkle in areas you need to go, a putoff to some. I'm on the fence with this one I think it's worth a credit, Enjoy!

This is a TM/Strategy game based upon a reality tv show. You start with a farm that you have to purchase a plot of land to plant seeds. You need to figure out how much garden space you can afford and how many seeds you can plant, you also have to pay employee's and upgrade production plants. When your products are finished you load up your truck and they take your product to sell thus bringing you back more funds. There are awards achieved and you earn points to spend on upgrades to make your farming easier, faster etc. There is a good tutorial that explains how to play and the graphics are better than most TM games. You will move on to different parts of the world to try your hand at farming in snowy regions, desert region, rocky regions and more. This is a good game I just thought it was a little slow paced.

I actually bought this game in the CE, mostly because I needed to find out the rest of the story after the demo. Although their are no morphing objects, this is still a really good game to play. You will notice right away that the graphics are lifelike, the characters look real and the surroundings are beautiful. One of the best things about this game is the association finder you get to use if you can't find something during a HOS. You simply click on the word of the item you can't find and a machine appears with a picture and scrambled letters. When you unscramble the letters it will find the item for you. When you find all but the last item you will travel to an earlier time but the same place to find more items, when you find those items you go back to the original time and the last item is uncovered. The story is good, a young man was told at the age of 25 that he was hidden by his real parents for fear that he would be killed because his parents were from two different tribes or sectors. He is given a map to his birth island where he meets a cute girl who is also a child of two different tribes and being hidden by the watchmaker. There is something to do in every scene so you just can't get bored. The only complaint I have is with the map which seems more time consuming than actually walking to the area you want. Enjoy!

I didn't play this game when it first came out but it caught my eye recently. I liked it so much I just bought it! You are taking over management of your grandfathers haunted hotel where the guests are made up of witches, vampires, ghouls and more and you need to keep them happy, fed and entertained. First you show your guest to his room (color of room to matching guest for more points) then you deliver their luggage and feed them and when they are ready to leave you collect their money pick up dirty laundry and clean the laundry. Between these tasks they may want a book or some wine. After each round you can purchase upgrades such as a faster elevator to go to all three floors quicker or rugs to keep the guest patient. Fast paced and very addictive. Two modes of difficulty casual and advanced. I'm off to serve the guests, enjoy!
