Morgana is back and leaving a trail of victims, your Uncle could be one of them! This is a game full of mechanical gadgets and clever locks to tinker with. Every scene has several active areas and the map is very helpful. The graphics are very crisp and professionally done, however the HOS are just scenes with a whole bunch of junk scattered about, but they are interactive.Mini games are mostly mechanically themed such as putting fuses with various numbers into a chess board and every row needs to equal 34. This is an entertaining game but at times it does become mundane but for the most part it is fun, enjoy!

Yes it's a lame fairy tale, Jack and the Beanstalk, with a bit of a spin. You are sent to destroy the magic beans but one grows huge because you put fertilizer on it and water it for whatever reason, The fact of the matter is that because this game has some out of the box ideas the gameplay is out of the norm, and basically we fear change. Each scene has one of 40 collectible hidden decorated eggs and when you find an area of interest you will receive several faded out pictures of items you need to look for. Then you search that entire scene for the items that are randomly hidden and you may need to move to the next scene to complete the search. When all the items are found you use that item to complete a mini game or puzzle. Don't fret there are still some good old fashioned list hidden object scenes as well. A lot of the mini games were actually riddles, one puzzle gave you a clever riddle and you had to select the correct picture that matched the item the riddle was referring to. I think that if the story was a little more interesting this type of gameplay would have held more interest to some of the hardcore HOPA gamers, but to me it was a good change of pace and I give credit to the developers for trying to mix things up a bit, enjoy
It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

Unfortunately the train has departed without you on it's maiden voyage. You watch helplessly as your husband and daughter disappear into the tunnel, never to be seen again! One year later a scientist convinces you to board an exact train replica in the very tunnel of the strange phenomenon. His intentions aren't clear but you are desperate, what do you have to lose? You soon find out that aliens are involved in capturing humans but your family was taken to the dreaded Pantheon in the sky and haven't been seen since. Are they still alive? What do the aliens want with them? Personally I liked the extras available in the Collectors Edition and purchased that version because of collectible flowers which allows you to play extra games in the Pantheon. The story however is remarkable and keeps you guessing throughout the game, just when you think you have it figured out the story twists a bit. The graphics are stunningly beautiful with crisp detail and vibrant colors. The HOS are a bit unusual, you will need to use items in your inventory in the HOS and they have done a great job of hiding objects in plain sight. The mini games are fun and not too difficult and most of the tasks you come across are easy to figure out what to do or what inventory item to use. There is a lot of back and forth as you find an item and realize you need to use that item two scenes back and so forth so you will probably want to use the map to save your mouse, enjoy!

Another amazing Otherworld adventure. Fiona has been cursed by the evil Shade and turned into stone and we must restore the perpetual prison that once held the Shade, and release Fiona from her curse. I'm not sure what happened to the scarecrow, he must have morphed into the stormcat which looks like the offspring of a poodle and a persain cat on steroids! The scenery is bright and magical and there are 60 very well hidden fay dragons to collect. There are achievements to earn and 23 HOS as well as 24 mini games, all of which earn you an award for solving without hints or skipping. This series is one of the best fantasy themed games available and I highly recommend playing them but you will still be able to understand this game if you don't. The gift of sight into the Otherworld of magic has gone now that Fiona is a statue and you must replenish her amulet to allow temporary sight along your journey, things aren't always as they seem...so enjoy!

There are 3 different modes to choose, classic, timeless, and puzzle. The basic idea is to make a chain of numbers as long as possible by clicking and dragging. The chains can be in sequential order from 1 to 6 for example or any combination of numbers in order 2-7, 1-3 as long as there are at least 3 numbers. You can also click and drag all of the same numbers that are in a group or line such as all 2's or all 5's. *CLASSIC* you must make combo's to earn points and level up. You earn more points making numerical chains or large groups of numbers. Some of the tiles have bonus points as indicated by the x4 icon on the tile, other tiles have the letters to spell jumble. You can spell this word repeatedly for more bonus chances to jumble the board. *TIMELESS* is just that, same as classic without the timer. The same bonus tiles are available it's just a never ending game that levels up. *PUZZLE* this one was the most challenging. You need to use strategy to click the combos and clear the board as tiles will drop leaving some tiles with no combo's available on an tile that is stationary. As you progress, new tiles appear such as fire tiles which burn out after 10 moves, ice tiles which need to be melted by dropping a fire tile next to it, tiles that fade in and out or tiles that morph to different numbers each turn. This isn't a bad game, I just got bored playing, it kind of reminds me of Bookworm but just numbers had no wow factor for me.

I must admit I forced myself to continue playing this game because for the first three levels I hated everything about it. I simply didn't get it. Then I put my puzzle solving skills to work and now, it's kind of addicting! The tiles are all the same, square, they are simply lighted tiles of different colors. You start out by choosing the Ice planet for an untimed relaxing game or the Fire planet for a fast paced timed game. Each chapter has 6 levels to complete and each level has a different challenge. On one level you may have to match a certain amount of red tiles, green tiles or yellow tiles and you have to achieve those goals in a certain amount of moves. You may have to change the color of all the tiles or have diamonds fall to the ground, every chapter has new goals within the levels and if you fail to meet the goals you can restart that level but you only need to pass 5 levels to move on to the next chapter. There are a ton of power ups to earn such as ice planets to freeze time, fire bombs, free move which doesn't count toward number of moves allowed, super bombs and even a reversal bomb which flips the board upside down for a few seconds. There is an earthquake bomb which shakes the board then removes the tiles and scrambles them before placing them, and the most annoying one is a color bomb which blacks out all the tiles ( I haven't figured this one out). There are also black tiles which cannot be moved, however, they will drop if you match below them and if they fall onto a space that needs to be cleared it can cause trouble for you. All of the power-ups earned are placed on the board for you and you will want to use them often to earn points and clear the board in time. There are also annoying parts to this game as well, When you use some of the power-ups the board becomes increasingly smaller and at times seems to jump in and out and I found this more annoying than challenging. There are game levels that require you to make matches to release blocked tiles but these tiles hardly look different, they barely have a little more of a black edge than the normal tiles, you cannot move those tiles which helps to identify them. And lastly the color bomb turns off the lights and there are just silhouetted hued tiles and I can't figure out how this is helpful? The bottom line is that this match 3 game is different and we all fear change, so give it at least an entire chapter before making your decision and hopefully my review will clarify the directions a little bit for you as well, enjoy!

Hereafter is simply a management game because there is no timer. The cartoon 3D graphics are so well done it gives this game the wow factor. Lighthearted yet creepy music, adjustable gamma, and resolutions and each worker and guests are different, that's just a few things that set this game apart. There are zombies, vampires, pumpkin heads and plain old dead folk. Your workers are displayed in the left bottom corner and you scroll through them to find an available worker, if they are already working on a task it will tell you they are busy but you can re-assign them. Each worker will have a display of happiness and when the numbers get low you will need to pick them up and take them to the dining table to replenish. New tasks are given constantly and they are displayed in the top left icons, after completing a task simply click on the icon to collect the reward. Even the resources are different, eyeball trees and glowing mushrooms, dead trees and pumpkin vines. There are skull caves to find artifacts in and cellars and creepy houses to build. There are hidden scrolls and stone figures to find and they will be displayed in your gallery along with all the guests you acquire. When you enter your gallery and click on the stone figures they will briefly morph to life then change back to stone. The tutorial is good and because there are so many things to do in this game you will want pay attention to it simply because this game is not your typical TM game, enjoy!

I love puzzles that make you put on your thinking cap to work them out and I have always wanted to play a game that was nothing but mini games and puzzles. That's basically what this game is, puzzle after puzzle, however, there is no need to put on your thinking cap because the puzzles are way too easy. The story is about another princess and another witch. The witch demanded the King's daughter and a maid smuggled her out with a mirror with missing gems which were placed in separate boxes and sent to separate jewelers. After a hot air balloon accident the princess is finding out her true legacy. The HOS are far and few between and they are often in the same scene as before. Some of the objects were very small but they were well done. You will also collect 31 glowing beetles but because they are glowing you can't miss them. Several of the scenes require you to find 10 flowers or 15 snails that you will use for an upcoming mini game. You will come across puzzles every few seconds such as clicking on rings until you complete the picture. The hardest puzzle I came across was a series of dials with 3-4 different colors on each one and you had to match the colors with the neighboring dials. The game itself isn't bad and I love the fact that there are a ton of mini games, I just wanted the mini games to be a little more challenging. The graphics are good, there are no voiceovers, you have to read all the dialog, there are only two modes of difficulty, casual or hardcore and sometimes the music became intrusive. It's still an entertaining game and if the puzzles hadn't been so easy I would probably be saying I loved this game, enjoy!

You have worried about your father all night, then his fellow police brethren arrive on your doorstep with the dreaded news. They hand you his personal belongings, among them a family heirloom watch, you begin to cry. You are suddenly whisked into the past when your tears fall onto the watch, only to witness a murder! The heirloom has been protecting your family for centuries and now you must save your father from the curse of the blood ruby! Whomever is in possession of the blood ruby becomes paranoid and greedy, and you find yourself in a house full of elaborate locking devices and of course parts are missing. The HOS are list finds and you will also need to locate a few items that are shown as outlined pictures. After finding those items you use the items interactively such as using the shovel in the dirt pile to uncover a hidden object. In my opinion the hidden objects were way too easy. There weren't any new puzzles, but they were still fun to work out. I liked the puzzle where you had to separate gems into groups of three on a grid with a limited number of vertical and horizontal bars. Clear graphics and an interesting storyline along with plenty of puzzles to work out make this a solid entertaining adventure game, enjoy!

I passed this game up when it was first released but saw it again when it was on the Big Fish favorites list and I actually enjoyed it. You loved the stories your mother told you about a House of Brass with robots and mechanical fireflies and eccentric inventions galore. When your mother passes you find out the fantasy stories she told you were real, and off you go! The house is built around a core platform that allows you to travel from one floor to the next, and the house's lighting is provided by thousands of mechanical fireflies! Because of all the mechanical gadgets throughout the house there is always something to do. The HOS are different, find 12 silver items, 12 cylinder objects and even 12 things that equal 4+4. The mini games are fairly easy but they are a little time consuming such as turning several lighted circuits to connect to each other to create a path for electrical current to flow. I overlooked this gem but I'm glad I revisited the game enjoy!
