Linda Miller has escaped from the asylum and still has a burning desire to reassemble that mind controlling movie projector! In the first episode of Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen we learned that Linda murdered her father Morton and kidnapped her half brother Frederick and used you, her half sister, to find the missing pieces of a governmental experiment Morton had invented, a projector capable of mind control! You tricked Linda, using the projector to drive her mad and she was institutionalized......but she has escaped and is more evil than ever before.
The graphics are so much better in this Final Cut episode, I wasn't a fan of the muddled gold and brown graphics. That magical projector gives us the ability to switch back and forth between Movie reality and real time reality as you switch back and forth finding items in one reality and use them in the other.
The Hidden Object Scenes are still interactive list find, but the scenes are still repeated a second time in the same area. You can switch to a Match 3 game instead. The Mini Games are those clever Morton Wolf inventions such as lining up color wheels to form a particular color code when combined, or swapping circular tiles to complete a picture. My favorite was making a key replica by first using lines to replicate the pattern of the original key, and then using the key machine to make the key from that pattern using two types of arrows and two different heights.
The Collector's Edition has Achievements, Pictures, Puzzles, Music, replayable HOP's and Puzzles, Movies, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Twenty years ago, your father invented a device for the government, a movie projector that can control people's mind. The legendary film maker was also guilty of an affair with one of his actresses and had a child that the Wolf family knew nothing about. Morton Wolf has been murdered, and your brother has been kidnapped by Linda Miller, your half sister, who is demanding you find all the parts to the projector that Morton hid throughout his mansion. You will have to piece together this dangerous invention if you ever want to see your brother Frederick again!
I love the Final cut series, this first episode is my favorite, however I'm not a fan of the muddled gold and brown graphics that to me is unimpressive. The Collector's Edition has several Collectibles, 10 Secret hidden Cards, 20 hidden House Photography pictures, and even 10 Lights to collect. The Collector's Edition also has Achievements to earn.
The Hidden Object Scenes are interactive list finds that can be difficult because of the muddled graphics, and some of the Hidden Object Scenes are repeated in the same place. The Mini games are usually in the form of intricate locks that Morton has invented. My favorite game involved a lock with colored jewels on three rotating rings that requires you to align the colored jewels so that the jewel holder is the same color as the jewel in the quarter circle. It sounds difficult but there's only one logical combination.
The Collector's Edition has Pictures, replayable Puzzles and HOP's, Bonus HOP's, Music, Movies, Photo Sessions, the Making Of, Achievements, Collectibles, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

In the first episode of Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen we learned that Morton Wolf was unfaithful to his wife and had an affair with one of his actresses, Barbara Miller. Morton Wolf was perhaps one of the greatest inventors of his time. This movie mogul was guilty of two things, he cheated on his wife, and he invented a movie projector that makes people go stark raving mad! He knew this device was evil, so he took it apart and hid all the pieces around his mansion. Twenty years later, Morton has been murdered and your brother Frederick has been kidnapped by a mad man who demands that you find all pieces of the movie projector if your brother is to live!

Vacation Adventures is back and better than ever with the Round the World cruise. This is purely a HOG with Puzzles and Mini Games available between each Hidden Object Scene. You can choose either Casual or Challenge modes as well as which gender of cruise director you want. Each scene has Lost items that need found, the portal on the bottom left will show these items one at a time as silhouetted shapes, when all have been found the portal will close. Each scene has recyclable items that need to be found such as paper bags, cans, and bottles, when all recyclable items have been found the trash can icon will close its lid. The items to find are list finds, items in red are hidden in or behind something, items in blue are tasks to complete such as returning the captain's hat or picking up laundry and placing it in the hamper. There are trophies to earn and you are scored a bronze star if you find all items, a silver star if you find all lost items OR all recyclable items and a gold star when you find all lost items and recyclable items. You will also receive an eagle eye bonus if you don't use the hint, there is also a Mega Hint system that will briefly show you all available items on the list. After each HOG you will get to solve a puzzle or mini game such as rotating puzzle tiles to complete a picture, Match 2 identical items by flipping over two cards at a time, Spot the Difference between two almost identical pictures, or putting together a jigsaw type puzzle of the ship's layout. The money you earn can be used to purchase souvenirs and view them on your collectible shelf, but I don't really get the point of that feature, enjoy!

M.W. Vernon was the best film producer there was in the '40's and '50's. He created a state of the art studio on his own remote island and began production of the studio's first motion picture. This production however wa disastrous, riddled with injuries and even death, the studio was in financial ruin before the move was even finished. Rumors have it that Vernon sunk into a deep depression and became a violent tyrant. Rita Rea was the studio's leading lady, and she has gone missing, her daughter Helena set's sail for the seemingly deserted island to search for her mother. What she finds when she arrives is, well, sheer madness!
The graphics are a little weak, but the storyline more than makes up for it. I also found some of the items to be very touchy requiring you to click on specific spots at times. The Hidden Object Scenes are simple list finds, with many of the items being multiples such as 3 bullets or 3 dominoes. The Mini Games are typical puzzles such as swapping and rotating tiles to complete an image or adjusting mirrors to spell out the initials M and W with the light beam.
This is actually a decent game if you can overlook the older graphics and don't mind an abundance of Hidden Object Puzzles, enjoy!
I recommend this game!

Houndspoint has a serious problem, a pack of Deerhounds are attacking men, women, children and even other dog's! You have a degree in canine psychology but you've never seen anything like this before. These dogs are wearing suspicious collars which seems to be the method for control, but why would someone want to attack the citizens of this small mountain town where everyone knows each other? When the dog's corner your children and kidnap their pet dog Pippa, you know it's time to get to the bottom of this mystery.
The Hidden Object Scenes are interactive list finds, that have well hidden objects blended into the scenery. Every item you click on shows a paw print that fades within a few seconds which is actually kinda cool.
The Mini Games are very easy, most can be accomplished on the first attempt. Simple puzzles such as opening locks by choosing levers in the correct order, or untangling a net by clicking and dragging the large knots until none of the ropes cross each other and the ropes change from red to green.
I purchased this game when it first came out, and just got around to revisiting this dog themed game. The graphics are really decent for the most part, but I'm finding the close up's to be very animated.
The Collector's Edition has 7 Music Tracks, 9 Wallpapers scenes, 13 pages of Concept Art, a built in Strategy Guide and a Bonus Chapter, enjoy!

What a complicated in depth strategy game this is! I really wasn't digging it at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was kinda fun. This is different than most strategy games I have played, you have to build the city with houses, stone quarries, fishing huts, tree nurseries etc. You have to build certain buildings in order to build other buildings, you need wood and stone to build houses or fishing huts therefore you need to build sawmills and quarries first. You need to click on the main building to recruit workers first, but of course they need fed so you need food resources first. Each building will need at least one worker, after you recruit a worker, you click on the building that you want workers to go to, and add as many workers as you want, the more workers, the faster the production goes. The main building also allows you to recruit a carrier to pick up resources so you don't have to click on them constantly, and you can choose which resources the carriers pick up first with a slider bar feature. When production comes to a halt, you need to assign more workers to the buildings because the workers leave when they get hungry. The entire playing field is covered with clouds, building obelisks in strategic areas will appease the gods and clear away a portion of clouds. Eventually you will build roadways to allow trade to neighboring cities, and new buildings are unlocked. This game is surprisingly addicting, as you watch your city grow, and meet the level goals. The only thing I disliked about this game was that there was no clear cut task list available. You are given a new task and shown the requirements briefly but there's no list shown afterwards, so you have to remember what the requirements are for each task. Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

The mountain town of Houndspoint has gone to the dog's! Someone is controlling a pack of large Deerhounds as they are commanded to do his dirty work, striking fear upon the citizens of this small wintery town known for their love of canines. You have a diploma in canine psychology, but this strange behavior is like nothing you've ever heard of. When the family dog Pippa is kidnapped by this canine pack, you know you must get the the bottom of this case and stop whomever is in charge before it's too late!
I purchased this game when it first came out, and just got around to revisiting this dog themed game. The graphics are really decent for the most part, but I'm finding the close up scenes really animated and outdated several years later. This game does have a lot of interactive list finds, and they are very nicely done in my opinion, some items a bit of a challenge to find. The Mini Games however, are a little on the easy side with very little challenge such as clicking on levers in the correct order or untangling a bunch of ropes on a net by clicking and dragging the larger knots until none of the lines are overlapping and turn green.

I will give this game credit, it has every possible variation of Match 3 available, Chain matches where you click and drag an entire chain of matches, Group matches where you click on groups of identical tiles, and the normal Swap matches. This game is available in Mortal (Easy) mode with no timer, Hero (Medium) with 500 seconds to complete a level and 60 seconds for the hint and skip options, and Olympian (Hard) with only 300 seconds to complete each level, 120 seconds for the hint to recharge and no available skip option.
The goal with most levels is to make matches over all gold and iron tiles, each level varies as to what type of Match 3 is required. Some tiles are blocked with fog, ropes, double ropes, wooden blocks and even brick which require at least one match on or nearby in order to unblock the tile. Large matches will earn bonuses on the board such as a bomb which can be swapped to detonate and clear several tiles. Some levels require you to collect items such as keys or feathers which are used to unlock and expose sections of the board. Bonus tiles only require a single click, when enough bonus tiles have been collected you can use the bonus anywhere on the board to clear out rows, columns or sections of tiles. The money you earn is used to purchase building that will appease the Olympian Gods who are helping you upon your journey.
