Well, we may not be able to visit any of these places for the moment (but hey, we can still go grocery shopping!) so for now, all we can do is virtually hop on an RV with Jennifer's new boyfriend and travel across the good 'ole US of A?
The last two games in the series have been much better because they are a bit more challenging. This is a decent old-fashioned HOG, where most of the items have been tweaked to make them less obvious to spot and they have once again added a Lazy Turtle in every scene for extra points. I love the Lazy Turtle but wouldn't it make more sense to use the adorable Lazy Turtle Developer Logo instead of a random turtle?
The trivia facts are interesting, and each location can be revisited as often as you'd like, and each time the style changes such as, Listed Items, Silhouetted Shapes, and my favorite Scrambled Letter finds. (which ain't as easy as you'd think)
You can play in an Untimed Mode as well as a Timed Mode that gives you 10 minutes to find everything, which is honestly plenty of time to find everything, and I would love to see a Challenge Mode offered with even less time! (cuz I have a need for speed) You will earn a single star on each HO location and the next location requires 2-3 stars to unlock it so you will need to replay the previous scenes in order to earn enough stars to progress.
You will visit The Statue of Liberty, San Francisco, Alaska, Texas, Hawaii, Central Park, Florida, Hollywood, New Orleans, Seattle, Venice Beach, South Dakota, Washington, Grand Canyon, and Las Vegas. There are also Mini-Games to unlock towards the end such as Travel Cards (pairs of identical cards) Travel Mahjong, Jigsaw Puzzles, a Farm Game (connect fruits in a line) and a Presidents Game (find all words search)

I've played thousands of games over the years but I've never played a game quite like this futuristic Time Management masterpiece! I've always been a sci-fi fan so this game attracted me like a hypnotic laser-beam and even though it doesn't have a Strategy Guide included, I was eager to earn my position aboard the SS (space ship) Sparrow under the command of the not-so-infamous Captain John Evans. I knew this game would have amazing graphics the moment I saw the download size (1.28 GB) but they exceeded my expectations, on every aspect for that matter!
There are 66 Levels starting with planet Earth and beyond... planet Clark, Efremov, Sheckley, Asimor, Wells, Gibson, and Asimov. There's even an Additional "Missing" Chapter to complete additional missions. Each planet has Researcher Artifacts, including the Artifact of Evans and Pratt.
You can play in a Relaxed Mode which still allows you to earn all 3-Stars and gives you Unlimited Time, and a help feature once per level or mission. The Explorer Mode is a normal mode that awards you with 1-3 Stars depending on how long it takes you to complete the level, you still have unlimited time to complete your mission, you just may not earn all 3 stars. Expert Mode is an all-or-nothing, Limited Time mode requiring you to complete the mission with all 3 Stars or bust! This is definitely a Strategy-based game, one that I had difficulty earning all three stars on the first, and sometimes, second or third-time-around, so kudos to anyone who can complete these missions in the Expert mode, lol.
Nowadays, I look for TM games that have unique tasks or unusual goals because I've played so many cookie-cutter versions, I've fixed a million bridges, gathered a billion berries, fruit baskets and loaves of bread, filled-in tons of potholes, built or repaired enough sawmills to annihilate an entire Rainforest or two, and mined so many gold mines that there couldn't possibly be any gold left in the world. No worries here folks, you'll be recycling metal scrap heaps, creating Robots in the Control Center, building wind-powered Generators, shooting down artilleries, flying through asteroid fields, refueling spaceships, opening resource caches, and paying people to deliver various supplies.
You will still be tasked with building houses (aka futuristic explorer's tents) for income, but building those houses require Metal, Mines, and Money, none of which is an easy feat. Often times, you'll need to build a Metal Factory to manufacture the required supplies, demolish the factory, build a Crystal Factory in its place, generate crystals and then turn around and recycle it, before being able to build the required housing. Once you figure out what "supplies" are required to build or repair various buildings, the game gets easier and you'll be able to figure out the series of events or plans of attack to get from point A to point B. Once Crystal & Metal factories have been constructed or repaired, you have to order Crystals and Metal in increments of 25-50-100 or 250 units or credits. I found it beneficial to take notes of how much metal & crystals were required for each task so that when I replayed the level, I knew exactly how much to manufacture so I wasn't wasting my time or money (managing my time & money!)
Collector's Edition Extras: 21 Futuristic Music Soundtracks, Wallpapers (not as impressive as one would expect from a game with graphics this amazing??) 66 Captain's Logbook (level recap pics) Hidden Chapter and/or Missions, both versions have several Achievements to earn as well. There is no Strategy Guide which was slightly disappointing, but in the end, it wasn't a deal-breaker for this sci-fi fan!
fromDuring sunset a phenomenon called scattering occurs-small particles & water droplets in the atmosphere force sunlight to change direction-shorter wavelength colors like blue hues get scattered leaving longer wavelength colors such as yellow, orange & red

Nobody beats Suricate when it comes to customizable Options. For starters, you can choose to disable or enable the Hint Arrows, FX's, or the Interactive Help tutorial, adjust the Resolution and choose Widescreen or Fullscreen, choose to disable features such as Static Pieces and Mini-Game options, choose a Custom Cursor (extra cursor's available in the CE version) and adjust Volume levels for each individual feature.
You can choose to play in a Limited Time Mode, a Limited Moves Mode or a Relaxed Mode that gives you all the time in the world to finish levels at your own pace in as many moves as it takes without penalties. After choosing the Type of Match 3 gameplay you then get to choose a Normal OR Advanced Difficulty mode! Hearts give you extra lives and you can trade lives for more moves in Limited Moves Mode.
Each level has several "rooms" to complete. As each room is cleared, you simply click on the Arrow Icon to visit the next room. You can earn Gold, Silver and Bronze Trophies and any level can be replayed immediately or later on by going to the level map, which is a must-have feature for me personally.
Large Matches will earn power-ups on the board and there are Obstacles such as Yellow Tiles, Single and Double Chains, Dark Fog, Fog Vials, Crates, Stones, Ladybugs who move to an empty cell when matched next to them, Turtles that move and create a wooden box to hide in, and Golden Snails that will move and turn the cell into an extra layered yellow cell, Stone Tiles, Steel Tiles, Iron Maces, Atomic Tiles, Lava Drops, Wooden Boxes, Safe Tiles requiring a specific number or Matches to destroy, Amber tiles requiring a booster or power-up to destroy it, and Locks that require dropping color-specific keys to the bottom of the board.
Coins that appear can be collected with a single click (they will disappear after a brief amount of time) and Bags of Coins must be dropped off of the board by making matches below them. The Coins earned can be used to purchase and upgrade Power-ups in the Shop. Each upgrade makes the power-up more powerful or covers a larger area.
Some levels have Puzzle Levels that will unlock once the other rooms have been emptied. Inside the Magic Room, you can collect more Coin Bags, Gold Stars and occasionally a Golden Bat. Gold Stars must be dropped to the bottom but Gold Bats can exit any side
Crystal Rooms are optional and it won't affect your progress if you decide to skip them. Crystals are used to unlock the Mini-Games. Tiles inside the Crystal Rooms don't regenerate after making matches so you have to plan a strategy because it's a lot harder when new tiles aren't added to the board.
Collector's Edition Extra's: 4 Extra Hidden Object Scenes, 4 Extra Jigsaw Puzzles, 5 Extra Wallpapers, 3 Extra Scenes to decorate, CA and the "Making Of", 10 Music Soundtracks, Extra Cursors.

Susan has been summoned to the Lost Lands once again, but this voyage stirs emotions of inner turmoil as she struggles to balance life in the Lost Lands as a Warmaiden, and life on Earth as a mother and wife. Neither life will matter, however, if Susan doesn't choose Maaron over Jimmy because Drak UL's heart has been uncovered on Earth and must be returned to the Lost Lands for safe-keeping. If the heart falls into the wrong hands, both worlds could be destroyed if Drak Ul the giants' heart and soul are reunited.
I know most of us don't think about what goes on behind the scenes, and I'm not even sure the developers realize that they are light-years ahead of all others. Pay attention to the details folks, look at the graphics, the characters movement animations (okay, disregard a few creepy eyelid movements or creepy sign-language flitter fingers) Think about the work that went into creating those incredible morphs & interactive collectibles (CE version only)...and think about the incredible price point for all that work! Pay attention to the surroundings, the realistic atmosphere, and the realistic interactive tasks. These devs have been to Mars and back folks, they have looped around other galaxies several times, while other devs can only manage to come up with the same 'ole, smoking out hundreds of beehives, placing a gazillion emblems, spirals & symbols, sticky note hints plastered everywhere/no grey matter required, and allowing players to click on a few neon-green lamps! (think about it) THIS is why this developer is my Number One all-time favorite developer, they know how to put the HOPE back into HOPA games! My only complaint is, why did you have to make Jimmy's character so winey & annoying? He isn't a very likable person in this game. Now that he's all grown up, shouldn't he act more mature?...just saying)
Morphing Objects/Collectibles (CE version only) Whoa, hold on folks! Just when I thought these guys couldn't possibly make their collectibles any better, they made me start digging for gold, literally, they placed hidden Coins under rocks and other various nooks and crannies! There are 53 Collectibles total, 8 Coins-7 Giant's Mark-7 Susan's Photo Memories-8 Maps-11 Lost Lands Manuscripts and 12 Figurines (in the BC) Each scene also has a Morphing Object, 30 total. You can enable/disable the curser-hand change option when you encounter morphs & collectibles as well as show the scenes with missed collectibles & morphs on the map.
Hidden Object Scenes: There are only 12 Hidden Object Scenes +3 in the CE Bonus Chapter, but don't let that deter you because these are some of the most interactive and lengthy, whole-room scene HO's you'll ever see, unless of course, you play other games by this developer. There are only 4 different variations, Interactive List, Interactive Silhouetted Shapes, Interactive Multiples, and Finding & Replacing. The interactions are multi-layered and do require a lot of thought processes because the interactions are not your typical cookie-cutter interactions. Did I mention how talented this team is? My only suggestion to them would be to offer an alternative game for players who may find these too frustrating, or perhaps a skip button feature?
Mini-Games: Put on your thinking caps to solve 37 Mini-Games +16 in the CE Bonus Chapter. These aren't impossible puzzles, but they will require a little bit of thought and a little bit of patience. These aren't the kind of games that can be solved in one or two moves, and certainly not by luck of the draw. Did I mention how incredibly talented this team is? Even the Hidden Object Scenes are more like puzzles AND they have mini-games within them!
Bonus Chapter: (CE version only) The journey continues right where you left off as Susan, Jimmy and Maaron retrace there steps to search for Maaron's Impaler that was dropped during the main game. There are 3 incredible Hidden Object Scenes and 16 Mini-Games across 12 familiar scenes. There are no Morphs in this chapter but you will search for the final 12 Collectible Figurines (of the last new character in the 3rd chapter!)
Collector's Edition Extra's: 10 amazing Wallpapers, 10 Concept Art Pictures, 8 Music Soundtracks, 17 Video Cutscenes, 12 Replayable Mini-Games, 20 Puzzles +5 Bonus Puzzles (you must complete collections to unlock) 53 Collectibles (8 Coins-7 Giant's Mark-7 Susan's Memories-8 Maps-11 Lost Lands Manuscripts-12 Figurines) 30 Morphing Objects, 3 very long Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a Built-In Strategy Guide.

Completed Game approximately 5.5 Hours (including completion of all puzzles & CE Bonus Chapter) 41 Main Game Scene Locations +13 CE Bonus Chapter Difficulty Range: Beginner (unless you enjoy doing the same thing over & over?)
Obviously, a different team was in charge of Dark Romance: Ashville than their previous game in another series. The story was incredibly interesting to me personally because I loved how they switched between 1985 as Robert Lawson, and 2000 as Louise Mitchell. Although the story held my attention, Domini seems unable to break away from adding everything but the kitchen sink repetitive tasks where you use a tool, lose a tool, use the same tool, and repeat the same scenario scene after scene. If getting from point A to point B were this repetitious in life, no one would bother to get up off the couch. (Someone's got to keep it real folks!)
It is for the story alone that I gave this game 4-stars, it was well thought out, and unique. Domini could be king, and even though the tasks aren't nearly as dreadful as last week's game, they have got to find a way to release all those chains they keep making me repair game after game if they really want to rise to the occasion. If you are new to this genre or new to Domini games this is a 5-star game, but I find it hard to believe that seasoned players would flip a wig?
Gadgets/Helper: Dark Romance is usually about 2 lovers being torn apart by unseen forces as you swap between players. This clever writing team (surely someone else was in charge of the tasks?) changed things up a bit with a journal that as one person pens an entry in the year 2000, it appears to the person in the year 1985...Nice! You will still swap between two characters who never meet...or do they?
Collectibles & Morphing Objects (CE Version Only): Domini always gives you plenty of CE Bling, but these were some of the most uninteresting collectibles and morphs imaginable. You can enable/disable the Collectibles availability Tabs and choose whether or not to show them on the Map as well. There are 15 Morphing Police Evidence Items (with descriptions) 15 Scraps & Notes to go along with a gazillion Missing Notes because in Domini-World everyone litters) 100 Zoom Zone Bucks (because stealing other people's pocket-change coins was immoral so they upped the ante to committing a misdemeanor?) 15 Ugly Boring Furniture Items for Robert's Room (purchase with the stolen hundo, why not, it's harder for the police to trace used furniture, besides some of the money came from the bad guy, totally justifiable)
Hidden Object Scenes: There are 13 Hidden Object Scenes +4 in the CE Bonus Chapter and an alternate Match 3 Game available, which btw, doesn't allow you to make consecutive matches quickly. (you have to wait for all tiles to stop falling before you can make the next match) They include Interactive List Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Keywords in Sentence Finds, Missing Keywords in Sentence Finds, Replace Items into the Scene, Swatches Finds, This Plus That Equals Finds, and Combo Silhouettes (find items that match the description of two combined items) Unlike their last game, some of these scenes were located in interesting locations or took place over multiple scenes.
Mini-Games: There are 21 Mini-Games +8 in the CE Bonus Chapter. You can choose to play them in an Easy or Hard difficulty mode and you can choose which mode to have them start out in the Custom Setting (you can still switch between modes for each individual game) I lost count of how many times I had to enter codes to open locks & doors...this is considered a mini-game? Here are a few brief descriptions of some of my personal favorites:
1-Switch levers to connect ladders & bridges to advance (a cool game but way too short) 2-Move officer to phone booth without getting caught by burglars (shouldn't this be the other way around?) 3-Place all shapes onto the grid. 4-Grab 2 fuses at a time and move to correct slots.
Bonus Chapter (CE Version Only) Your augury lessons from Anna Lovelace (sounds like a lady of the evening name, what's ya been watching guys?) are abruptly interrupted when the police arrive to inform Anna that she is their prime suspect in the disappearance of Officer Marsh...no questions asked there or at the po-po's office...this will all make sense when I am older la la la..."Olaf" This is an above average-length chapter spanning over a whopping 13 scene locations with 8 additional Mini-Games and 4 Hidden Object Scenes. You will continue your search for the final 4 Morphing Police Evidence Items, 3 Pieces of Trash, I mean Scraps & Notes, and 12 Zoom Zone Dollars which allows you to purchase the final decorations for Robert's Room.
Collector's Edition Extra's: (CE version only) 15 Wallpapers, 15 Concept Art Pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, 29 Movie Video Cutscenes, 40 Achievements (the same achievements offered in all of their games and notice how you earn them in the order shown AND you earn them when you didn't really earn them because they are given to you at specific set-points, not by randomly earning them. In other words, you won't earn the 5th achievement first because that's not when the game is programmed to award them...seems rather disappointing now doesn't it?), 16 Replayable Mini-Games, 16 Replayable Hidden Object Scenes, 15 Morphing Police Evidence Items (with descriptions) 15 Scraps & Notes to go along with a gazillion Missing Notes, 100 Zoom Zone Bucks, 15 Ugly Boring Furniture Items for Robert's Room (purchase with looted money) 5 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter, and a Built-In Strategy Guide (you won't need it)

The difference between Pixel Art and Paint by Numbers is that these games are more traditional with areas to color rather than square pixels. In the first game, there were slightly different shades between areas that really made the images pop with vivid shades of orange, yellow, pink, purple, etc. (just look at the image shown of the lizard on #1) the second game had really ugly colors with no shade variations, the third edition had much better colors but the pictures weren't that interesting, and now, once again, some of these pictures are ugly and the colors need to pop with more vivid and bright colors, not bland colors like burnt orange!?
Here are a few suggestions I'd like to see added STILL: *The cursor is way too large and bulky, especially when trying to fill in those teeny-tiny areas. It would be nice to have at least 2 cursors "tip" options, preferably cursors of various art media, such as a colored pencil tip, a fountain pen tip, or a sharpie marker tip. *At least some of the images should be larger images, after all, we can drag the image around to get to other areas. *The images need to have symmetrical or geometrical patterns versus doors & windows, dots, and impossible to see blurbs. *Let us choose the color of the background with an actual Color Palette & let us choose the color of the current number highlighted areas which are currently a dark grey (if we can't choose the color of the highlighted area DO NOT use fill in colors in the same shades of gray or black!) *The black outlines need to be much thinner so they don't stick out like a sore thumb and take away from the beauty of the completed picture (which is also confusing when trying to differentiate between that grey highlighted current color...again give us the choice of the current highlighted colors) *The colors need to be crazy, the colors need shading variations, do away with areas to fill in the size of a fist (we aren't toddlers) Choose images of animals or scenery that can allow you to take advantage of all the color hues...you know how to contact me :)
Some of the areas to fill are super tiny which makes it difficult to see the numbers, however, if you scan the mouse over a section it will show that particular number above the cursor and it's large enough for anyone to see easily. It can be difficult to fill in some of those smaller areas simply because the cursor is so large and bulky. As I said earlier, if the areas to fill were geometrical or symmetrical this could be avoided altogether. There is also a Hint button that will point to any missed areas of the current color, without penalty.
There's not a whole lot to have to figure out, it's about as uncomplicated and basic as it gets. Paint By Numbers is a computer version of Oil or Colored Pencil Paint by Numbers, and actually closer to the real thing than the Pixel Art versions. Each area has a number and you simply chose the corresponding color bubble from the palette (also numbered) on the right side, left-click to fill in all the numbers with the correct color.
There is a Slider Bar that allows you to zoom in & out (there's a "fit" tab as well) you can also move the entire page around by right-clicking and dragging. There is also a slider bar that allows you to change the color of the background, but it really only allows you to change the colors in shades of grey or black. It would make more sense to have an entire color scale available on a paint by numbers game though, wouldn't it? I would love to see a "texture" feature added that would mimic different paint variations as well.
Keep an open mind, it isn't supposed to be a brain-burner kind of game. It's a very basic and rudimentary game that's just supposed to take you out of the hectic zone for a bit. I'm still a Pixel Art & Paint by Numbers fan, but Paint by Numbers is flawed and not consistent. I was constantly having issues with the screen zooming in and out all by itself which became annoying. I prefer Paint by Numbers vs. Pixel Art because it's closer to the "real deal" and I'm certain that a few tweaks could make this version an amazing and zenful game! ☯

Wow, this game was long overdue but I guess good things come to those who wait! It took about 11 levels before becoming challenging, that's when the board layouts became more complicated and I started to really enjoy it.
You can play in a Normal or Expert mode and choose either a Timed or Relaxed Mode of difficulty which I believe is a new feature for Mystika. The object of this Match 3 game is to swap tiles to create a match of 3 or more identical tiles over all of the Gold cells to beat the level. You can earn up to three gold stars for each level, and I love the fact that there is a "restart" button available to allow you to restart the level anytime, even halfway through the level! As you progress, some of the tiles are obstructed with Earth, Planks, Chains, Double Chains, Metal, or Ice. You can earn 10 Trophy Achievements that are available in 7 different categories.
Large Matches will earn a Powerup on the board such as Bombs, Spells and directional Rockets than will explode and destroy several surrounding tiles. The money you earn is used to construct buildings and repair bridges along your journey. Amulets that are discovered can be sold for Mystic Coins but the merchant usually requires other items before handing over the loot. As you progress, Bonus Power-ups become available to use once the charge, one of which Changes the shape of the board which may or may not be favorable.
Some of the levels are Dig Levels where you make matches to dig through the earth tiles to find coins or resources. There are also Hidden Object Levels with variations such as Listed Items or Spot the Differences, to break up the monotony.
From what I've played so far, I haven't come across any of the Battle Modes that were available in the last Mystika, but this is a quality Match 3 game and I'm hoping the developers don't make us wait another 4 years for the next release :)

Yes, they did change the graphics, they always change the graphics, unfortunately, they don't change important game mechanic features. Yes, they changed the music, to the music they use for all of their puzzle games so technically the music didn't change they just changed the game they use the music on. The game is flawed, the game mechanics are slow to respond, the game freezes constantly and more than one card flips at a time when you select the deck pile.
Games by this developer are mass-produced with little thought or consideration to the quality of the game or its features. Reviewers state over and over that they want to be able to remove all cards, not just the special cards, but they never bother to offer Solitaire games that will please "we the people" because that would require changing something besides the title and background!
Once again, there are 9 Card Graphic Themes to choose from and 3 Font sizes (traditional, themed, and large font), but who cares how fancy the cards look if the game is the same, the features are the same, even the level layouts are the same. As I said, the music changed to the music from their 1001 puzzle games, not to mention that at times the music pauses and you're left with an awkward silence.
As usual, the game begins with a tutorial in Newbie Mode which allows you to replay any level. After completing the tutorial or opting out by clicking on the tutorial X, you can choose the Professional Mode which only allows you to play the entire 10 level pack.
This is a Higher/Lower style Solitaire game (of course it is) where the only goal is to remove all of the Gold Cards. Once the gold cards have been collected, you will earn the maximum amount of points and the game ends even if other regular cards remain. If you remove all gold cards you'll get a perfect score and the points of that level are added to the next level similar to bowling scores. You must earn the required amount of points to unlock the next location and there are 20 Locations with 10 levels per location.
When you remove cards with a candy swirl you will receive either +499 points, a Joker, a Shuffle or Mulligan (undo) and you can buy Jokers, Shuffles, and Mulligans within the Shop with the points you have earned, at a ridiculous price point of 2500-8000-5000. Lucky us, they decided to add several more bonus cards per level which translates to an agonizing game interruption because the game freezes to show you what you have just won.
Once again, this game states that there are Achievements to earn, but I've yet to earn one, but then again, I didn't play further than the demo because I have no desire to waste money on a game that has nothing new to offer, and never gives me the option to continue playing after removing all Gold Cards. I refuse to even use a PCC. When and if they decide to change something other than the title, I may consider it, but only if they make an option that allows me to remove all of the cards, not just the Gold Cards. Until they bother to change something that actually matters, I won't bother to buy them or give them above a 1-star rating.

When you remove cards with a round blue flower, you will receive either +499 points, a Joker, a Shuffle or Mulligan (undo) and you can buy Jokers, Shuffles, and Mulligans within the Shop with the points you have earned, at a ridiculous price point of 2500-8000-5000.
Until they bother to change something...anything...I will continue giving them a single star, I'd give them ZERO stars if I could!

Jewel Match Solitaire games are the kind of games I know I'm going to buy the second I see it offered as tomorrow's game today. I don't even mind that they are first offered in a CE version, in fact, I love that they offer these games in a Collector's Edition version because they cram a ton of extra's into their CE's, so if possible, I strongly recommend upgrading, it's totally worth the extra money!
If you can't afford the CE version, you will still get your money's worth because this SE version still has plenty to offer. You get 50 Bonus Mahjong Levels, 12 Bonus Solitaire Levels (FreeCell Kings-Castles in Spain-Wasp-Beleaguered Castle-Strategy-Easthaven-Stonewall Light-Busy Aces-Elise-Milligan Harp-FreeCell Six) You still earn 24 Trophy Achievements and get 6 Castle Wallpapers!
This is a Higher/Lower Solitaire, however, as you progress, you will unlock 12 Different Solitaire Versions that are shown as Treasure Chests on the map and unlock with 10-25-40-80-120-160-210-270-330-400-480-520 Stars earned: Double Klondike~FreeCell Kings~Castles in Spain~Wasp~Beleguered Castle~Strategy~Easthaven~Stonewall Light~Busy Aces~Elise~Milligan Harp~FreeCell Six (The CE version includes bonus games: Napoleon's Retreat~Double Klondike by Threes~Blind Hookey~Tanana~ Double Freecell King~Double Pyramid) You will also unlock Mahjong Games shown as Oysters on the map at 18-32-60-100-140-160-290. That's a ton of bonus materials!
There are 200 main Solitaire Levels and you can play in a Normal Solitaire Mode, a Hard Mode with a Timer, and a Relaxed Mode which gives you more than one deal. There are 24 Achievement Trophies to earn (both versions) and I do recommend that you read the Achievements before starting the game because there are a few that are awarded for selecting specific options, such as, choosing a Custom Cursor, Watching the Credits, Setting a Wallpaper, Replaying a Level, and even for Removing 5 Cards in 5 Seconds. There are 4 Card Backs to choose from (extra bonus cards in the CE version) and 3 Card Fonts (Traditional-Vintage-Themed) but I wasn't crazy about the card graphics.
The goal is to Remove Cards that are either one Higher or one Lower than the Deck Card, and you get to remove all of the cards, not just special cards like some games! Each level requires you to Collect Emeralds which allows you to purchase underwater Castle Sections. When a Castle has been completed, you can set it as a Wallpaper. If you don't have enough Emeralds to purchase a Castle section, this step is bypassed. The Level Map will show you how many Emeralds are available on each level. Some Cards contain Coins that can be used in the Shop to purchase Power-ups and Wildcards. Combo's start at 5 Cards and each level gives you 1 Undo. You can earn up to 3-Stars per level and you can Replay the levels as often as you want to try to remove all of the Cards. I love that they sped up the score window, and stars earned, which pops up quickly to keep the game flowing. They also did away with the double-click feature requirement on the Deck Cards after making a Combo, so a big thank you to the devs for listening to us and implementing changes :)
There are several types of Obstacle Cards added as you progress. Lock Cards that require you to remove the Key Cards, Frozen Cards that require two Plays to remove, Chain Cards that require removing the Hammer Cards, Ribbons that require removing number specific Scissor Cards, Seaweed Cards that require removing the Sword Cards, Red and Black Seal Cards that require removing Red and Black Suit Cards, and Red and Black Suit Specific Cards that require removing Specific Suits of Cards, such as Clubs, Hearts, Diamonds or Spades.
Coins can be used in the Shop to purchase a Deck Card Counter~Earn Extra Gold~Remove a Random Card~Remove a Specific Card~Reveal some Face Down Cards~Extra Shuffle and Undo features~Card Specific Wildcards~Jokers, and the Chance to Receive Wildcards and Jokers during the Levels.
The Collector's Edition version has so many extra's you practically get another game because it includes over a hundred CE Solitaire Bonus Levels, 5 Extra Castle's and Wallpapers, 4 New Power-ups, 10 Music Soundtracks, 4 New Card Back Graphics, 24 Trophies +Extra Trophy Achievements, 6 Extra Bonus Levels Solitaire types (Napoleon's Retreat~Double Klondike by Threes~Blind Hookey~Tanana~ Double Freecell King~Double Pyramid) 50 Extra Mahjong Game Levels, and The Making Of which is a very interesting section that shows what all goes into making a Jewel Match Solitaire game. Whew, the extra's alone could qualify as a new standard game, so if you can afford it, opt for the CE version!
