Absolutely delighted in this game!, a SE that's more like a CE and half the price! What a fabulous game. There's an extra chapter too! the graphics are amazing and not what i expected at all. The storyline is spooky enough, just in time for Halloween. Just couldn't get enough of the stunning graphics and a lot of work must of gone into this little gem and the HOS were crisp and clear. The puzzles i admit are a little easy but still a wonderful game and achievements to collect is always a bonus. Thank you Big Fish :-D

What a joy!! If you love The Awakening series, you'll adore this new little gem. Just visually stunning graphics and a wonderful fantasy adventure. It is pretty much the same set up as Awakening with stunning artwork. Love the achievements and collectable lady birds throughout. (think they're lady birds) all the same, just stunning! There is a map but it's not interactive but it seems quite linear up to now. I do find the puzzles very, very easy though but it doesn't distract from what is a stunning adventure. A lazy Sunday afternoon awaits me and i'm going right back to the game. :-)
I recommend this game!

Yes ERS does it again!!! Okay, seems this one is a little easier than the previous Shadow games but that doesn't spoil the great adventure of it all. I did notice the graphics look different, maybe lighter than usual but still ERS standard. Oh and the great fact that the exit screen doesn't pop up every time i go for an inventory item is a bonus!! Well done for listening!....the hint button fills quite quickly even on advanced mode and the HOPA scenes are crisp and clear. The only downside for me was the absence of a map because without it there is a lot of back and forth motion but then the hint will help if you get stuck on where to go next. Fantastic game BF, Thank you :-)

Bought this game immediately after playing demo for 20 mins. The graphics are outstanding. At first i thought same old creepy genre HOG but it surprised me. Love the real life actors with real voice overs and the hint button fills up quite quickly even on advanced mode. The HOS are interactive as is the map which is always a bonus. Think i'll spend a lazy Sunday afternoon on this one. Thank you Big Fish :-)

Oh is it over yet? that's what i kept saying to myself! The graphics were quite bad which surprises me as i have lots of games by this developer and i've seen better. I found myself going round and round in circles wondering what to do! The HOS were ok and interactive but grainy and the hint button was useless so thankfully the map provides a little insight if needed. It was literally pick an item up and wonder where on earth it was used with not much of a storyline, well a boring storyline to be honest. Didn't care for the characters or their story and they had no voice overs. There was no anticipation in this game whatsoever. I've managed half way and deleted out of pure boredom. Sorry but i can only be honest.
I don't recommend this game.

First and foremost, great to see we can custom our difficulty setting to anyway we want it, and an interactive map too!! Can also choose between HOS or Mahjong but i love the interactive HOS so i stuck with them. Fantastic storyline, half way through and can't wait to get back to it. The graphics are cartoonish like but that doesn't alter the enjoyment in anyway. Brilliant extra of achievements to collect is a bonus with morphing objects and flying birds to collect! Just what i've been waiting for, thank you Big Fish! :-)

Very mixed bag of reviews on this game and i don't understand why. Okay the graphics are beautiful, the storyline is great in my book and the puzzles are so so but nothing unusual. I love the fact that the items to be picked up and used are actually from that era and something different each time. A couple of reason i didn't give it a 5 star rating was because.....
A, The music didn't fit the theme (turned it off)
B, No map or journal
C, A lot of back and forth
D, No voice overs
Apart from that it was an enjoyable game and well worth the CE price.

What on earth are you thinking of Big Fish? you release fantastic games then every now and again we get a wet fish!! Sorry but that's how i feel about this game!, it's dated, the graphics are ok but the objects are tiny!!! deleted after 10 mins, just pleased i didn't waste a fiver on this!
I don't recommend this game.

Another fantastic Dark Parables that just keep getting better and better. The graphics are superb and the storyline is gripping at every turn. I do enjoy the fragment HOS for a change but there seemed to be one on every corner and it got a bit tedious after a while, though that is only a slight negative on the whole game. There is quite a lot of back and forth motion and if it were not for the hint button giving directions i would of got lost! Overall a beautiful visually stunning game and the bonus chapter of The Boy Who Cried Wolf was such a delight and a great ending to a fantastic weekend for me! :-)
