NO HOS. Strictly seek and find. Good story: you take your daughter to a school that is no longer open and she is whisked away before your eyes. Not real good cohesion, as you were left wandering around a lot trying to figure out what to do. Diary, but no map. Cool eerie music and sounds. Puzzles were hard and skip button was loooong. Great graphics. VOS, but the witch wasnt real convincing. Loved the devil trying to get out of the pit. Be sure to find ALL the pages of the witch's diary, or else.....Good length: 6 hours casual.
I recommend this game!

Mystic Legacy: The Great Ring
Uncover the dark legacy hidden within a Romanian castle to save your friend from an evil spirit!
Amusing. Game is personalized so that your name is shown in text. No VOS. HOS mostly clear, interactive. Puzzles a bit difficult. Interactive map. Still needed lots of hints as some things didnt always make sense, like a spool of thread being a puzzle piece....huh. Still, a good game, and decent length: 4.5 hours casual.
When Liza is found comatose on the side of the road, you, as a psychic, are brought in to delve into her mind and find why she cannot wake up. You discover memories, and nightmares, in a variety of beautifully choregraphed settings. Great VOS. Nice music. HOS standard, nice and clear. Good puzzles, but long skip button. Interactve transportation map. Although this could stand alone as an SE, the bonus chapter was heartwarming and worth the CE price. Not a real long game, tho, only 6 hours casual play.
You have to get your beauty back from a witch who has stolen her beauty from many others. Nice graphics and music. NO VOS, just text. Good games, fast skip button. HOS interactive and you do return to the same ones. Had to use strategy guide a lot as I couldnt always figure out what to do or where to go next, and the hint system didnt always point you in the right direction. Areas didnt close out, either. No map, so a good bit of running around. Cool powers were received to help you overcome the witch like taming wild animals and seeing thru walls. Hopefully a new series, and even more hopefully that the next one will have voice overs and a better hint system. Casual play, 6.25 hours, including bonus chapter. More like a 4.5 than a five, with the few things I didnt like.
Great storyline: you are the only witness to a gangster shoot em up, and they take you to a deserted island cemetery to bury you alive. Before they can do that, the bad guys are taken out, but you cant get off the island until you give the boatman three soul stones. Real actors. Stunning graphics. Good music. Good puzzles, tho some were hard and skip button is looonng. HOS were a nice variety of silhouettes, using things found to find other items; standard HOS with lists; and HOS with interaction and puzzles. Bonus play is good length and one more adventure to complete. Some seek and find, most with sparkles. About 7 hours on casual play. Loved it!
As a detective, you have to find a killer who is terrorizing a small town. Lots of interesting characters and great VOS. HOS non-interactive, and a lot of them, but not too junky and fairly clear. Lots of seek and find, too. Beautiful graphics, nice, tho repetitive, music. Good puzzles. No map, so you have to do some walking. Good length, with the bonus chapter that wraps up the story, over 6 hours on casual. Enjoyable game.
You have to rescue your kidnapped family from a madman, who turns out to be someone you know. Great graphics. VOS were cartoonish, but effective. Eerie music and sounds reminded me of Ravenhearst. HOS junky and difficult, and didnt close, but usually found something more if you cursored over the screen. Good hint button, had to use it a lot. A lot of seek and find with few sparkles on casual mode. Puzzles hard, had to skip a few. Not a real long game, about 4 hours on casual mode. No walkthrough, but the forum helped on parts I was really stuck on. Not really a cliffhanger at the end, but some questions left to be answered that, hopefully, will be addressed in a sequel.
Interesting storyline: as a paranormal investigator you have to discover how to find and stop the Brotherhood of the Crescent Snake that killed a young man in New Orleans. Great graphics. No VOS, only text. Voodooish, but not scary. HOS partially interactive. Puzzles difficult, especially the ones where you have to create different potions from your kit. Some were too confusing for me. Nice music. Short game, only 5 hours on casual play, and that includes over an hour on the bonus chapter, which rounded out the story. Not worth a CE price: buy it on sale or wait for the SE.
Creepy noises and eerie music are the perfect background for this asylum that has imprisoned people with supernatural abilities. The angels were a lovely touch and I actually had a chill when Icarus was released from his cell. Great story line. Wonderful graphics. No VOS, just text. Lots of HOS which were challenging and non-interactive. Puzzles were pretty hard, and some I didnt understand what to even do, but the skip button is pretty quick. Hint button for all phases of the game. Task list. You do re-visit some HOS, but I didnt mind since some were well hidden. Lots of exploring vis a vis the elevator, once you find all the buttons. Quite a few seek and find and challenges of what to do next. Long game, over 6 hours for me on casual play. There IS a cliffhanger ending, which is probably resolved in the CE, or hopefully, leading to a sequel. Try it, you'll like it!
Excellent storyline: you have to find your brother who is trapped in a haunted hotel. Great graphics and VOS. Clear, non-interactive HOS. Some seek and find. Good puzzles. Nice music. A little short, only 3.5 hours on casual play, but definitely worthwhile.
