I would give this 3.5 stars.... Enjoyable game and well worth the DD price. I almost didn't even try this game after reading the reviews.... just goes to show that you should at least give them a go and see for yourself.... :)
My main gripes about the game are that I couldn't get my power-ups to stick to my tool belt when trying to "equip" -- no matter what I tried -- and the graphics, in full screen, are a bit blurry.
Other than that, as Match 3 games go, this one is a tad above average and I found it enjoyable...
Since I got it as a DD, it was worth the price for me.... Had it been full price, I probably would not have purchased it. So give it a try yourself and you might find it worth it for you as well.

This game is not to be missed. Although I already had this game when I joined BF, I wanted to give it the rating it so richly deserves now that it is being offered here.
Glow Fish is totally different from anything I've ever played before - anywhere - and is a ton of fun for all types of gamers.... as another reviewer said, it might take you a few tries to get the hang of it, but it is oh-so-worth-it!
This game has the most beautiful graphics and backgrounds I've ever seen - it is calming like a real aquarium, yes - but don't let that snooker you... it gets very, very challenging as you go along. The challenge increases gradually so that you grow with the game....
Although there are no walkthroughs, you can go to youtube to find out how to pass a particular level that is giving you trouble. For this particular game, it is far better to see it being done in action rather than being told how to do it anyway.
I've spent hours and hours playing this game -- and it never gets tiresome. This will be one of the best game buys you ever make and you get much more for your money than most games offer. I highly recommend this game and would give it ten stars if I could... Yes, it is THAT good!

Great length and the CE actually delivers.... I could care less about wallpaper, etc. What I want are extra chapters and the SG. This game actually gives you FOUR bonus chapters.... so well worth the extra price....
I recommend this game!

Neither strategy nor skills are needed to play this game... just plain ol' dumb luck.
When you get the free games, which are autoplay, you win more free games, which win more, etc. -- and you can do like I did -- make your lunch, take the dog out, make some coffee, and return to find the slots still spinning....
I'd as soon watch the laundry tumble in the dryer....

Another GREAT game by Playrix! This one is sort of a cross between match 3 and marble poppers.... It takes some strategy to play -- makes you think but doesn't fry your brain.... and the strategies you can use are varied and fun to figure out.... you can use a totally different strategy when you replay a level than what you used before....
This is a game you can play over and over again -- like a really good form of Solitaire, it's the same game, but different each time you play it.... :)
I can't wait to buy this and get to the more difficult levels....

The only reason it doesn't earn 5 stars from me is that it's a tad short and the mini-puzzles are way, way easy.... I played the game on the most challenging level and really enjoyed it. The items are (usually) easy to find without resorting to the sparkles and item list. I loved that there were no HO scenes -- all the items were a part of your adventure and found as you went along.
The gameplay was mostly linear and logical... very little backtracking... The voice-over is good (not great) and the music (which I always turn way down anyway) is unobtrusive.
I feel the developers missed some great opportunities in the game for those of us who love puzzles.... for instance, most items in the inventory combined themselves and, again, the puzzles were extremely easy....
The game was very enjoyable for me.... not sure why others rated it so low....

I am not a straight HO game fan normally but, for some reason, I found this game to be so fun, I played it twice in a row! The characters are great, the story is good, the locations are good -- I'm not sure why this is so much more fun than most pure HO games, but it really is. Unlike some others, I enjoyed the bandits popping up in the scenes.... I also liked that you had two different extras to find (marshall's badges and stolen items). There were some mini-games (the same ones) between chapters -- and the one where you shoot the banditos was great fun.
My only gripe with the game is that it was too short! But because it was so fun, I got twice the play out of it anyway -- and you also get unlimited mode once you get 50K in points.... then you can try for all the trophies in the game (another plus).

I was more than half done after playing the one hour trial! Had it not been so short, I would have given it an additional star, but I want a little more bang for my buck than what this game gives....
Other than how brief the game is, I enjoyed it. As stated by others.... more "find the differences" than "hidden object.... although you do have items to find and ridiculously simple mini-games...
The games you can purchase with your coins can be played over and over again -- but there are only four of them -- one memory (repeat the actions); one "whack-a-mole" type game; one "push all the buttons" by figuring out how one interacts with the others; and another "concentration" type memory game (find the matches)....
So they're not really games you'll play a lot. You don't get much for your money here. If this is a trilogy, seems like they should have combined all three into one game to give it the average game play time....
Can only recommend this game on sale and it's still too short even for that price!
I dunno.... bought this based on the glowing reviews but was disappointed. Although there are different ways to play other than straight mahjong, it was still repetitive after a while... and very, very easy.
It is a relaxing time passer but, for my money, Venice Mystery is far superior to this for variety, fun, bonuses, etc., etc.
I'm usually easily pleased and I fully expected this game to be really great - especially after reading all the reviews.... However, I've played through the Great Wall of China, and am a bit bored....
I still recommend this for those who love MahJong and need a de-stressing time-passing mind-numbing game now and then.... But if you love this game, then please try Venice Mysteries -- because it is by far the best MahJong type game I've ever played....
I recommend this game!

but not my cup of tea. Game was just "ok" for me... (This review is based on the one hour trial.) One very strange thing -- when I shut it down with 14 minutes of free play left, and went back to play the rest of my free time, it was like I'd never played the game. If I was to play more, I had to start all over from the beginning... Dunno if this was just my experience or if something went wrong somehow. Anyway, didn't bother playing the last 14 minutes and deleted the game from my queue.
This is a very simple, straight-forward game -- by that, I mean, it has no special effects, no animation, nothing to "wow" you.... The objects you find are not junk areas, which is a plus -- they are an integral part of getting the information you need to solve the disappearance of her son.
I found the music irritating.... I normally turn the music down on my games, but for this one, I turned it completely OFF.
In the 45 minutes I did play, there were basically three things to do.... find the objects listed; find the differences between two similar scenes, and find/match portions of the scene (such as cracks in the wall) that are presented to you in "photos"...
Again, if you love HOG, try this out. Otherwise, it's a pass and doesn't stand up to even the most average "adventure game".
