Really fun! Challenging as many items are hard to find but a nice refillable hint button when really stuck. Need to find Nativity items in each scene. Also need to find silhouette gift items, a few of which were a bit difficult but not impossible. So much fun to play a storyline HOG game with a few match and puzzle games mixed in. I loved this game...my favorite of all the Christmas Wonderland games thus far. I highly recommend this game for families and individuals alike. Can play casual or hard. I played casual. Can't comment on sound as I play games muted; visually terrific. Crowded scenes but item definitely "findable". try it...it's fun!
Play is much like Gardenscapes except you play different types of M3 where you gain points to build the Queen's garden. There are a few search games mixed in here & there; graphics are like a comic book set in old England where as you gain points as required (like x amt of flowers, x amt of tools,) clearing boxes, colored boxes and such as you match. This is a bit different M3 game in that you have different tasks to complete the level. It's relaxing and fun for a quiet no-stress game. I don't play with sound so I can't comment on that. No tech issues at all; just a good simple fun game. Great for beginners; skilled players I don't think will enjoy this. And no gore, blood and impossible things to put together although I've played many of those games. Nice to have a calm game to play.
Ok, I'm really "late" in posting this review but I just found the game a few days ago. I love this game. I love good IHOGs and this game is full of them plus having to learn to fly Amelia's plane is fun but challenging as well. I'm quite tired of the cluttered, dark, sinister games although I've played many. This is more my type of game (like Amazing Heists, Vacation Adventures, and Golden Trails). I am a huge fan of all HOG games and enjoy some not too difficult IHOGs as well and good adventure games. I learned alot about Amelia in the newsreels and I'm playing slowly so I can enjoy it as long as possible. I highly recommend this game as it's relaxing but a challenge in a non-difficult way.
Easy fun and relaxing HOG where an author buys a home away from the city to get her writing mojo back. Same as Gardenscapes & house is the same but still fun. Enjoy finding the HOG items on a list to the left, having the thermometer, camera to help find small items and finding the golden coins. The quicker you find items, the more money you earn to remodel your new home. It's a bit of a thinking game as you have to find all the items on the list but there is a hint button. All in all a great game for relaxing and playing with kids as well.
I really enjoy match 3 games with a story line and different challenges. This was a great surprise! It has not only a story line but different challenges for each match 3 episode that you play (such as remove all the given colors which takes some planning but it lets you replay if you don't succeed). I enjoyed playing this game and recommend it for those who like M3 games with a slight twist. It's not boring at all for this player. Finally, a new M3 that isn't stale nor boring. Try it, you may really like it as do I.
