Using my laptop mouse, I figured out how to turn the squares to make a picture. Hold down left side of mouse then keeping the left side down, click on right side of mouse until you get the square turned to correct position. I tried this not using my mouse but it didn't work...only works with my mouse. Also I did this before I placed the square in the right place on the picture. But, you can also do this on the picture to get it right. Voila!
I have all the Christmas Wonderland games. After playing 2 of them when offered, I decided I had to have all the games. I was delighted today to see #13 offered and bought it immediately. The colors are vibrant and sometimes it can be a bit difficult to find in some of the game but if I search enough I almost always find it. I really don't care about my score, I just love to play this HOG. I don't play with sound on (although I have & it's appropriate and calming. I like the challenges of the game and I replay no matter what time of year it is. Puts me in a good mood. No store line but just a great HOG game that's full of fun. I highly recommend this game to all HOG lovers.
I have been an avid member of BFG for years & years. I don't know how many games I've purchased nor those I tried but didn't buy.
I was looking for a new game to play, old or new, I wanted something fun to add to play that I enjoyed. I came across this old Halloween game & absolutely love it. It's just right with my vision issues, good challenges, just a fun, fun game. I'm so glad I looked at it. Tried it & bought before time ran out.
I rarely post reviews and given this is an old game, someone might not even read my review but with the good colors, trying to figure out what to do which was a challenge at times, not a blah, no-think game but instead has just enough make me think to it. I'm elderly & feel like this game is for me & anyone who likes a fun challenge no matter what your age.
I'm a huge fan of the Vacation Adventure games so when I read the reviews of this one, I had to try it. I know it's very similar to VA games but I am thoroughly enjoying it.
I tired the trial and liked it even more than I thought. I won't go into how to play as that's been written so many times already but I really find myself going this game every morning. I am so pleased that lately I became frustrated not finding a new game to try then this came along. Great colors, graphics, unusual puzzles, great sound....
I have visual issues so that's a big plus playing this game. Sometimes the trash items are a bit difficult but I usually find them. Plus I am a Grandma so it's not just for young'uns.
Play the trial & see if you enjoy it. Give it a try.

Since my laptop died, new one now, i am replaying many games. I "fell' upon this in an ad & feel in love with it. I then bought the other Faircroft games.
Only wish a few more directions as to how to play but I got through it. Also when someone is gifting something, it'd be kind of fun to see what was chosen but certainly not necessary
Great characters,, good dialog, great intriguing story line, and so enjoying my new "game find".
I definitely will play more Faircroft games that become available which I hope is soon. I didn't play the CE edition but I plan to when I finish all 3 games. This game is right up my alley as it has such good color, some items hard to find but a great hint bar that fills quickly & i love games that are not timed....a much for me, no timer.
Definitely recommend this game & other Faircrofts too. It's involving & fun. Give it a try. Probably not for experts but great for the rest of us.
Always watch for these kinds of games. Great game play and not an "easy" no think HOG but this is my favorite to play. Not cluttered so much that you can't find things, yes road signs were a bit of a challenge but this was and is so fun to play. I re-play every few days.
I recommend this game!

Nothing much to this game; very easy. Match 3 (timed) with bonuses for # of matches, before leveling up you need to play a jigsaw/switch the blocks games which are really easy. Play swap or group which you can change during the game. Expert and intermediate players I would guess will find this game very boring but it's ok for wasting very little-thinking fun. Don't pay full price if you try it and want to buy. Much too easy. Good visuals (I play without sound so can't comment on that). Pretty blah and repetitive in a little different match three with in-game bonuses.
I have grown quite weary of HOG games where I have to add inventory and put it in the right place. I just want some great ALL HOG games. I've looked for & purchased all of the total HOG games I could find (some have impossible amts of objects to find and are not casual but with a ridiculously short timer). Anyway, Since I love the Big City Adventure games (I have them all & replay often) it was a super treat today to have a new one. Same game play as the others with a few new mini games added. I'm delighted to have a new BCA game to play. thank you BFG and Jolly Bear for giving me more fun. Great explanations of what I'm visiting in Barcelona, as with your other games. I am enjoying my day thanks to you!!! Nothing with death, dreary story lines, horror, etc. Just fun and learning at the same time.

I really enjoy good not overchallenging HOG games, especially when I don't have to use strategy to add found items together to continue the game. I'm tired of those & the HOG plus some challenging puzzles in this game fit my taste. Some of the puzzles are quite challenging; if you can't figure it out, you can skip it at which time you will have to play a HOG scene (the same scene every time you skip but different things to find,,.some aren't that easy btw). I didn't think I'd really enjoy this game but after playing the trial, I was hooked to continue playing. It became a had to buy for me. I am still not done playing (been drawing it out, playing off & on to lengthen the game). You have lost your memory in this game and while you are being a detective for pieces of an ancient amulet, you are also regaining your memory, with the help of a psychologist (you play games in her office). It's got mystery, not impossible to find HOG scenes, intrigue, without having to use a map you'll find the next place to play a HOG. I am enjoying this game. Give it a try. It might look simple and easy for experts but it's still great fun.
I didn't know this game existed for ages and stumbled across it by accident looking for a new game to play. I find it to be a good, fun game. It's a HOPA game; difficult to find items at times but you have a magnifying glass to help you and a "dog" for a hint that refills fairly quickly. You need to find your aunt's journal pages (so far, before buying it, I only found one but I will continue my search). In each scene, you look for a certain amount of objects like butterflies, lizards, and such. After you find them all, you will be a list of objects to find. The magnifier helps you find them as does the dog hint.
This was a hidden treasure of sorts as I LOVE HOS and easy HOPA's (my vision is poor but these are my favorite). I enjoyed the story line of you inheriting your aunt's old mansion and looking for scene to scene which you move to on your own. No map. But not difficult to maneuver around.
I find this to be a game for non-expert players but those who want an easy game. Even intermediates might find it kind of un-challenging but I am enjoying it. I got it on a sale day for under $4. A nice change from dark, spooky, dreary games.
