I absolutely adore this game. It is probably the best match three game I have ever played. You need to make matches of three or more symbols in order to earn resources and begin to build Egypt and its great monuments. There are 100 levels and the further you go the harder it gets. The timer also makes things much more interesting, but you can opt to go without it if you do not relish a challenge. Love this game, everything about it, even the music is great, atmospheric and amazing. Top marks to the producers, please make more match 3 games like this one. Best in the cradle series too. I cannot recommend it enough. Get it now.
This game was amazing, it had me hooked throughout. You play the role of author/detective Dana Knightstone and delve into the mystery. You will eventually get to solve the riddle of the sad death at fairing point, involving the male half of a pair of star crossed lovers. You will have to deal with real people and apparitions in order to accomplish this. The storyline is a beautiful, although still a sad but compelling love story. The graphics and music are great. I love the fact that there are fewer HOS but many more intriguing puzzles and mini games here which offer a fair challenge. Truly one of a kind, you must experience it to see.
Although not as good as the excellent 'Death at Fairing Point' this is still a pretty good game. The storyline is okay, you need to solve the mystery of a dead violinist circa 1910. There are great sharp graphics, some wonderful snowy locations and lovely music. Many of the HOS are beautifully drawn and they are fun to do with slight variations. There are many puzzles too which are good, however, they are way too easy to do. Although there are 3 modes of play, the puzzles are still way too easy, that is my only criticism as I prefer solving harder puzzles, it gives you far greater satisfaction.
Well, what can I say. I cannot praise this game enough. It boasts a great storyline, addictive gameplay, lovely graphics, music, a good challenge and a multitude of different increasingly challenging levels. Will keep you entertained for days, with infinite replayability. Wholeheartedly recommended to everybody.
I loved the original emerald solitaire game and this is just as good, with one exception. I wish it had been made available to buy for a price, like most games, rather than presented free but having to pay for in game products. This spoils the fun as you could well end up paying many times over a normal purchase price. Shame, because it is a nice and hard game which would keep good players interested. I will recommend it, but only if you do not mind the way you have to pay to acquire it.
I must say that I am rather diasppointed with this one. Great graphics, voiceovers and a good storyline reminiscent of the film Jumanji. However, I did not find it as much fun as I had hoped to and it was way too easy. Very diasappointing for Elephant games who have given us great games like 'The Bride.' Sorry but gets a thumbs down from me.
This is one of the best murder mystery games I have ever played. Your friend Tyler is murdered on the Orient Express as it sets off on it's way to Istanbul and you must play detective and unmask the guilty party before the journey ends. There is nostalgic international intrigue and mystery as you set off on your quest. You search around, talk to other passengers to obtain clues and move the storyline forward. The game plays and feels amazing even today, I believe it was released in 1997. I love the art deco graphics, accents, music and effects, especially when the story moves forward. Infinite replayability as different things happen depending on your choices, you will soon find that events may take a surprisingly different turn, you can even be eliminated. This game offers a real challenge to the would be detective which is just as it should be. I wholeheartedly recommend this game, such a shame they do not make them like this anymore.
This is a fun 3 match game variation of the tale of Alladin . To succeed you need to go through dozens of levels, which become progressively harder, although not that hard. There are three power ups which you collect, that can help you on your way, when you are running out of time, or at the later levels. There are also challenges to overcome that slow you down. Good for children, also for adults who prefer a fair but not too difficult challenge.
I absolutely cannot remember the last time I had so much fun playing a match 3 game. This game is amazing , with a neat storyline and the 64 different levels with multiple maps that you need to get through to complete the game. The graphics and special effects are amazing, it is so much fun, the water rushes through the maps as you defeat obtacles, with wonderful special effects with arrows, fireworks, the works. There are also 16 spot the difference and 4 hidden object scenes. I wholeheartedly recommend this game, do not miss it.
I really love this game. It plays and feels like a great classic detective game where you need to discover the murderer, motive, weapon, etc in a series of steps of logical deduction, by eliminating other possibilities. You rise through the police ranks as you solve murders and they do get more taxing on your brain with more things to find as you progress. There are two modes, timed and relaxed which is great. For those of you who want to work those rusty grey cells, this is the one.
