Lord of the Statues was my #1 favorite game last year, so I looked forward to this one. While it doesn't quite hit the heights of the first - there is a lot of good in this game. Entertaining and Fun.
Pros: Beautiful Graphics, smooth and flowing movement, good story line, mini-puzzles easy to medium, new locations and forward movement (not back and forth), help Map, generous hint button.
Cons: The instructions for the minigames are poorly written. I had to play several games for a while to figure out what to do. The story is a bit predictable, but still fun. Statues are more "servant" and not as interactive. Small things, no big problems.
Overall, an interesting, intelligent game that makes you want to play til the end.
I recommend this game!

Another moody and beautiful entry in the Grim Facade series. I like these as they border just the edge of Romance, but have a thriller/mystery focus.
Pros: Intuitive game play, games easy to medium, only a few HOS but clear and easy to see. Twists in the story and fun characters. I like the "save up coins" purchase aspect.
Cons: minor stuff - some HOS objects have to hit "just right" to make them pick up, the end turns quickly into "go here, get that".
Overall a great time spender.

I bought this game thinking it featured the mafia - but it doesn't. The mafia is missing. I found the different angle exciting and fun. Graphics and old style feel make it fun.
Pros: Graphics, music, characters, good storyline (surreal without being simple). Intuitive clues, varied locations. Map is a life saver, and games are easy to medium. HOS are interactive and fun. Story has some plot twists that keep you moving forward.
Cons: The blue/white/grey filter over every scene dulls the art a bit. There is a lot of back and forth between screens. Ending not exactly abrupt but quick.
So it wasn't the mafia story I wanted - but I loved the story I got.

This game, with it's bright pink stars and huge icons, is really embarrassing to play in public. It looks like you are spending the day with My Little Pony. But, the play is solid, the story works and the mini-games are fun.
Pros: Bonuses that help clear huge sections of the massive boards and help speed along the game. Easy mini games but diverse to keep things active. Clear story that makes sense.
Cons: Game takes too much control away from the player, telling you when you can shop at the store, etc. The thing is a toddler's eyesore to look at, and worst of all - the hint feature charges you money for hints. So you are actually penalized for needing a hint. Some HOS objects are small or shadows.
Overall, an addictive you'll like in spite of yourself - just don't let anyone see you playing!
I recommend this game!

I use Match 3 to unwind and this one does the job. It was some neat features (moveable screen, neat bonuses), but wears itself out with no challenge.
Pros: Game sounds are fun and graphics are beautiful (except for some icons which are hard to distinguish - the little giesha's sorta look like pink race cars). Bonus bombs fill up fast, and the little cartoony village is cute - though not interactive. Shuffle also refills fast. It's nice there is a male and a female character to speak to you.
Cons: The game is to controlled and offers not reward for creative or skill. The gold is ONLY collected by breaking gold tiles. There are a certain number of gold tiles per screen. So you get x amount of gold per tile. There's no extra bonuses to earn, or anything by being creative or fast with your time. It's just Gold box = gold. Some icons are indistinct. Music gets annoying quickly. It says it's based on ancient music - but sounds more like basic electro-pop.
Overall - its a great game for a few screens each day of "Shut up, Brain".

I'm a fan of Dark Parables and didn't expect this little game to have the charm or visuals of that franchise. This game had everything and more. Fantastic story, visuals, game and good length.
Pros: The story has twists, turns, makes sense and even when you see where it's going - it's interesting. Games easy to low medium. Graphics are beautiful and very smooth. Game play in intuitive, characters interesting and varied.
Pros: HOS gets a little redundant, putting things together. Games are a little simple for adults - better for relaxing than challenge.
I recommend this game!

This edition only features 2 frogs instead of the 4 the game is designed for - still what a fun little game. I thought 2 frogs was enough, and was ready for it to end, but enjoyed it.
Pros: Art is comic and unusual, the Frog animation fantastic and there is a sly humor throughout. Games are easy with some medium. Items are intuitive (but some are easy to miss) - dwarves and gameplay creative and fun.
Cons: There is a lot of back and forth between rooms, and it does end on a fun note but it's clear there is much more to the game.
Overall - it was a great game and lots of fun.

I loved the First Mystika - the story behind the journey - the different towns and caves, the way you shot the spiders - It was such a fantastic game I was really excited for 2. And then I started this one.
This is a standard Match 3 - no journey from place to place - no story about the darkness - not fun spiders to shoot at - just clear the screen and build a town. Disappointed. That said, it's a great basic Match 3.
Pros: I LOVE the clicking the tiles make, and the color scheme/visuals. Very smooth action. Nice puzzles and ground breakers - particularly fond of the "solve for 1" type puzzles.
Cons: No real story, Bombs and bonuses can't be moved so you can't strategize - you have play where the bomb lands. Also bombs don't occur if they fall into place (which is cheap). Equally cheap is the points per screen (usually 100). If you are playing timeless, you shouldn't be penalized for taking a long time.
I recommend this game!

The game starts with a interesting story and context and goes through time. However once it gets started it seems circular and muddled. Good game play, but lots of scene to scene with little to do.
Pros: Beautiful Graphics, smooth gameplay, puzzles easy to medium, HOS scenes well lit.
Cons: half the story takes place on a ship which rooms and paths the look similar so there's lots of back and forth from room to room that ll look the same. A lot of effort for one link. By the middle the game turns into "Go there, do this, go there, do that" and the story falls by the wayside. Abrupt ending.
I recommend this game!

This is a fun old school match three that tries to do too many things at once. It tries to be a city builder, story follow and combo game - but where it really succeeds is as a basic match 3 game.
Pros: Good match 3, fun mini puzzles between games, soothing music, nice power-ups that truly help, good length.
Cons: Biggest con - if you run out of matches you have to start the whole level over. Its very frustrating when you're two or three blocks from the end and have to do it all over again. The builder part is lackluster - there's no real motivation or joy - buildings just go up. The story wanders back and forth and eventually stops making sense.
