I liked the previous Amanda games, especially because the matchables were cute, colorful and distinct animals. I didn't like the spiders or the boss level because they involve going fast. Well, they kept the spiders and the boss level but replaced the animals with indistinct jewels which, as other reviewers have noted, are too smilar to one another. I still enjoy the rest of the gameplay (I like relaxing) so I recommend using a free game coupon on this one.

Based on finishing newbie section. I had stopped buying 8th floor games because they were getting to difficult and nothing new or interesting. I deleted one game after buying it because I had to constantly replay levels just to progress. This one requires some replaying and some pass the first time, which is right for me. There are many graphic choices and I love the cute ones I picked.

Based on completed full game. I beta tested this game an loved it. It is one of the best games I have ever played and far better than the many clones comng out. I'm sorry it has poor ratings because I'm afraid it will discourage more like it. What's to love: Gorgeous settings. A coherent story with a lot of interactions with marvelous and various characters. Feels like an old fashioned ghost story rather than a horror movie. Love the skipping stones alternative. Surprise ending. Characters who aren't from northern Europe. Probably the best bonus chapter I've ever played. Worth buying the CE. Thanks devs, keep 'em coming. I'd love to see more like this.

I loved the campy/ silly/ superserious story, the matchables (guns, drugs, etc) and the gameplay. So many of the new m3 are unplayable to me with limited time and/ or moves, or just not fun--can only make progress with large matches, or too gimmicky. This was none of those--just continually interesting game with different boards and great power-ups. Looking forward to the next one.

I had only bought one other Haunted Legends game and thought it fell apart at the end. This one kept the story and excitement going till the end. I enjoyed frequent interaction with family and friends rather than just a villain and objects. I very much appreciated the minigames that were more like jigsaws or just putting things in place. I get tired of brain-straining puzzles. So fun I will replay.

I rarely buy CEs because I usually don't enjoy finding extra objects that much, but this game was an exception with the morphing cats and cards. I loved the royal family--if there was one thing I'd change it would be more interactions with friends and less with enemies. I got so involved in the story didn't want to stop playing. Beautiful, spooky, dark scenes but not too dark. Probably the best part was the plentiful M3s I could play instead of finding objects.

I'm always looking for a good solitaire game but this is the worst I ever played. No instructions on how to buy/ use boosters, which are necessary for bonus levels. I figured out that if I click on a locked booster between games I can buy it but then during the game it is both still locked and unbuyable. Someone guessed boosters just appear after you buy them buy mine never did after many levels. Boring but reasonable game otherwise, nothing special.

I liked the theme and animals--like playing games with and for small kids. But I/ we like playing relaxing M3 games so any games without untimed or unlimited moves mode is not enjoyable or worth buying. Too bad. I like the hex boxes.

To me, this was the best of the series. Compelling mystery, engaging characters and psychologically true. The story never got bogged down with interacting with objects. Goes on my favorite games list.

Gorgeous setting. Feels like an adventure rather than horror movie. Interesting weird characters. i didn't enjoy all the minigames but loved the chance to play mahjong instead of HOS. Lots of collectibles. Definitely will buy.
