It is rare that we all agree, but with this game I am completely with all the others who gave it 5 stars. There is nothing that I disliked. It was absorbing from the beginning of the main game to the end of the bonus chapter.
One of the best games I have played!

I bought the first mayan prophecies and really liked it. So much so that I bought this game without trying....big mistake.
What happened devs? Poor graphics. far from gripping storyline, way too linear game play and how many HOs can you squeeze in to one game????
Got so bored after an hour or so, I deleted the game!
I don't recommend this game.

I really liked this game. No it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some other games, but the sure sign for me of a good game is when I can't stop playing it! That was the case with this one, I was totally immersed in it!
I didn't care that the puzzles were easy, and in fact the HOs were not so straightforward all the time. Some of the items were very well hidden and they were varied which was good.
You also had to think about what to do next which personally is a must for me.
All in all I think this game has been rather harshly judged - and whilst I usually pay close attention to reviews - in this case, play the demo and judge for yourself please!

Excellent game. It had everything imo. Challenging, interesting and a good final ending in the bonus chapter. Elephant games have done it again...thank you!

I usually love these mystical/fairytale games but this one just falls short of the mark.
The graphics are nice but not the A1 class of other games.
There was a lot of backtracking in the demo and overall the game play just seemed rather simplistic and a little stilted.
I did like the storyline and the potion mixing and would like to see how the story turns out but will wait for the SE.
9 Clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek

Thank goodness I only spent a game credit on this one, as I didn't play for long before I deleted it.
The graphics were dark and grainy, the storyline uninteresting and the challenge poor. HOs were standard and far too many for my liking.
On the plus side it had a jump map but lost interest in going anywhere..lol.
I don't recommend this game.

The storyline is a bit 'same old'...the love of your life is kidnapped by dark forces and you have to save him. I usually don't mind if the game play is gripping, but this wasn't.
The grapics are not as sharp and clear as we have grown used to and the game play itself was a little stilted...at least on my PC.
I only played 30 minutes of the demo before I deleted and found the game a bit dull. I like a challenge and this is one of those games where you need a crowbar, there it is, now use it, not really much to think about at least in the short time I played.
Others will no doubt disagree but I got bored to quickly too justify paying for a CE even if it is half price.

I didn't buy the CE as the game didn't grab me enough at that time so decided to wait.
This is one of those games that gets better the more you get in to it. The storyline was something different, the HOs were well spaced out and the puzzles were on the whole interesting.
A decent length of game play which I enjoyed!
I recommend this game!
