First TM Game I Got All Gold!! YAY!!!

I became a fan of TM games when I found MKFP. Before that I hated them because they were burger rush games and the like.
So I played all these new ones I found but try as I might I just couldn't get gold on all levels because I wasn't fast enough - even with walkthroughs to follow! Frustrating, but it's OK.
This game is just perfect for me! I had to usually do each level at least twice because the level starts immediately, it doesn't wait till you do your first click and you don't know your goals untill the talk stops. I imagine this is a pretty easy line of programming to put into the application and I think the dev's were being lazy here but I won't take away a star... THIS TIME!
The imaginative use of rain, wind and lightening added a new, fun, and interesting element to the same old theme. I loved it!
Being middle aged, I don't have the speed of the young so this game was just right in the challenge department.
Everything was easy on the eyes and the music could have been better.
Storyline could have been more elaborate but it's not really what i look for in this type of game.
I so recommend this game, especially for us more mature folks!

Nancy Drew games are very challenging, to say the least. I played this one years ago when it came out and payed full price at their web site, so grab it if it's your cup of tea!
This game, as with all ND games, takes many sittings to play and needs patience and determination. The walkthrough, which can be found by a web search, was invaluable to me and easier than the forum here when you're stumped.
I cannot stress enough that this is a very different kind of game than the HOGS and adventure games you find here. There will be many Fishies who give this game a bad review because of the different game play, I assume.
The game lost a star because there was a limited number of places to explore and I find that a bit boring. Also, the visuals weren't up to par but I guess a desert is a desert! Inside scenes were better.

I highly recommend Tomb of the Lost queen, especially at this price, to those who can adjust to it and have fun with it. It's not for everyone, so be aware of that before you purchase this game since there is no trial. This is a large file game and maybe won't play well on slower computers.

Not going to rehash what the 141 previous reviews stated. Just want to say that with so many places to go, zoom scenes still opening after finished, I found myself using the strategy guide so often for a clue as to where to go that I found the game frustrating. I totally forgot about the story line and what's with all the useless quotes??
I guess if you have a very good memory, plan on playing it in one sitting (4 hours for me, over a couple days), and don't mind searching all over the place for what to do.......... well, this game's for you! One of the few games I can say I'm glad I'm done!
Also, I'm really suprised at the good reviews my trusted reviewers gave it - I'm usually right on with them!

I'm always looking for a great match 3 for those times when i'm bored with other games i enjoy more.
there is no difficulty level to choose from. i found the game easy so far with all the power ups i had and i got to the third kingdom.
i liked that there were mini games to play twice, i think, in each level. finding pieces of items and then putting them back to get a relic to end the level.
i suppose the games gets harder as it progresses but it was easy enough to get gold on each level the first time. you can replay levels any time.
clear graphics and nice music though i do turn it down low.
it's an interesting story and as you finish a match 3 you get new facts about Hercules' plight.
it's a good match 3 because of story and mini games and the hope it gets harder as this is based on demo.

Everything is so small in the scenes that i missed things - i played the middle mode with no sparkles (sparkles irritate me). if you don't hit that spot you miss it.
Games are very easy - too easy!
HOS aren't too bad except for miss named objects once in a while. items to find are small.
I found the game slow and boring... black screens between scenes and not much to be found on the ground. the story didn't keep my interest. there just didn't seem to be any forward motion to this game.
I couldn't finish the demo.

to pick up objects!!! backtracking to pick up an object until i find i need to use it....... no, not for me. there's no reason i shouldn't be able to pick it up when i find it! that really gets on my nerves. just saying.
I don't recommend this game.

this is a oh hum game. the story didn't keep my interest - oh hum! i have salt so why couldn't i melt the ice on the dressing table with it?? i had to wait till i got a cup of hot water?? oh hum, doesn't make sense. why don't i keep things i need later?? oh hum, no sense to it. nothing i haven't seen before, no twists to any game, ho hum.
this game has great potential if only the devs put more thought into it.
only recommended for beginners and possibly intermediates, or anyone who wants a no brainer.

i always read reviews before i even play the demo. i read thru the 1 star reviews to find out why they didn't like the game. a few peeps said it was the same old thing. it's not! the player makes decisions throughout the game that affects their starting capitol!!! i love this!

i have all the ND's. bought them from their site for $20. the special today is awesome! i actually like the older ones better, newer ones seem to lack something.
this is not a hidden object game. it's a very different adventure game - more like a who dunit. so try the demo cos it's not for everyone. it does take a lot of reading and thinking but you can always phone someone, check out your objectives, and read your list of suspects and question them. yes, lots of questioning and going back to question again!
my favorite is Danger on Deception Island but it's not available here.
try the demo first!
I recommend this game!
Outta This Kingdom combines time management fun with a fantasy twist for casual gameplay the whole family will love!

normally i don't write a demo review but since this is a new game i'll give it a go. i reached level 8 or 9. it's similar to MKFP and ROR, etc.
clear roads, build huts, saw mills, farms, information centers, and bridges, defeat enemies, etc.
what i found confusing is the mechanics. some items go into inventory and when used you have to double click to make it work. other items go into your tent and need just one click to use.
certain characters can only do certain actions, ie: only the cat picks up food. bubbles appear above the action telling you what you need.
gold, wood, food and crystals are staples.
the goals are tabbed with the buildings to buy so you need to switch tabs to see your goals which i did not like!
the story moves along with different characters talking to you before and during each level. i'll let you find that out when you play the demo.
demolish buildings, upgrade huts, buy more workers. also, the different huts earn rent gold and have citizens in them. some levels require a certain number of citizens.
if the game mechanics were more uniform i'd give it a 4 star rating since it would be more fun instead of frustrating when i forget i need to double click!
perhaps i would get used to it if i bought the game and continued playing. i do have a free game coming to me but i'm really on the fence with this one.
