The production of this game is barely OK. Poor artwork. Poor character representations. Some technical problems where the game quits working. Game play is mostly OK, with some dumb items that have to be collected with a ball and hourglass, and these are spread around. Some items needed are in plain sight, but you can't pick them up until later - dumb. HOS are, again, mostly OK as are the puzzles. The story is poor and poorly told. I don't recommmend this game unless at a bargain price.
This game is well produced and designed IF you like FROGs and being frustrated. Its almost a constant set of FROGs with objects needed spread out over many scenes, not just the one where the "wheel" appears. Many of the objects require other actions, like using an inventory item, and its easy to forget what you are looking for. I couldn't even stand to finish the demo. Try before you buy.
This game consists mainly of a constant hide-and-seek effort - find the pages of a document scattered around, etc. This gets tiring fast. The production is good with good lip sync on VOs. HOS are cluttered with some tiny objects and IA. I didn't like the puzzles. It seems like an interesting story, but I forgot what it was while I was finding things. This may be worth a bargain price, but just barely.
Follow orphan Eva on a trip to mystical Prague. Will she find out about her Royal origins, find real love, and save the world from a monster? It’s all up to you.
I think some others have given this game a bum rap. I think the game is well designed and the production is not perfect but is well done, too. I thought the artwork was good, and VO was good with good lip sync. Navigation is somewhat different than in most games in that you can go left and right instead of always forward - easy to do. The HOS are OK with lots of IA sometimes involving backing out of the HOS and looking for another object to use in the HOS, but you are allowed to skip this step if you want. Puzzles are OK. The HINT button works very well during gameplay pointing out where to go and what to do. There is an IA map, too. The story is a little lame, but this is nothing new to BF games.
The only thing I really liked about this game that others found annoying is Angelica over on the side nodding when I got something right. I have never had a woman tell me I was right so many times, never once, really. The game production is pretty good, but the gameplay is not. It's just a poorly designed game, story and all.
This is a poorly produced game with a really bad story. They try to make up for the poor story with what some might consider humor, but that I consider gag-me time. Game play is somewhat tedious - up and down elevator, etc. The HINT button does give useful info. I think this dog is a waste of time and money, even discounted money.
This is a well-produced game that is fun to play. The story is not the best, and there is a 3-D map feature that is supposed to get updated as the story proceeds, but to what purpose? Not clear at all. The gameplay map shows where action is needed - sometimes - but it doesn't allow jumping. So, lots of back and forth. The HINT works well pointing where to go. HOS and puzzles are OK, with a slow-charging HINT and SKIP button. Artwork is good, but the music is annoying.
This seems like a good game, simple but OK. But it does have problems. I didn't get all the stars in a location, and the game prevented me from ever going back there. There was nothing to do but start all over. Bad design!
This game starts out with a bang, literally, and goes downhill from there. The initial part of the game is impressive, and that seems to make players have a tenedency to over rate this game. I found the game to be boring and a real chore just to complete. The music is beyond awful, so turn it off. The sound effects of the ghosts is fingers-on-the-chalkboard annoying. The stories are short and nonsensical. The HOS are mostly IA with silhouettes for objects to be found. The puzzles are bad to OK. There isn't a map, and the HINT button gives only current location info. I liked the other games in this series, but this one is a real stinker.
