If you've played any in this series no explanation is necessary. It's the Christmas holiday and all the trimmings rolled into one explosion of color, sound and graphics. Lots of hidden objects, random mini games and plenty of Christmas cheer. No real changes other than the gold angel bonus is now gold trees but still so fun. I played the demo to make sure it would function and then pushed the buy button. I had no problem at all with downloading or playing. When asked to load direct x (it even asked me twice..lol) I always just close that out without fooling with it. No need to add it. Has never stopped the game from working. As always... try before you buy. Happy Holidays!
Though puzzle heavy and HO light this is still one of the most enjoyable games I've played in quite a while. Created by one of my favorite developers who always seem to give me the most for my money. Intricate graphics, emotive characters and immersive story line. I must say I do wish there were more HO scenes as they were very well done although sadly numbering very few. But even with the overload of mini games I still give this 5 stars. So intriguing. A breath of fresh air in a world of repetitive unimaginative games.
Same story, same graphics, same hand holding and same lack of challenge. Total lack of originality. Couldn't hold my interest even through the demo. This might be of interest to anyone new to hidden object games but cant see much interest otherwise. Try for yourself.
Love this series from the same people who bring you "Cruise Director" & "Park Ranger". Straight ahead entertainment captured with a theme. Has become a Christmas tradition that all ages can enjoy. Bright colors. Seasonal music. Varied mini games. Delightful hidden object scenes. Happy Holidays one and all.

The Seven Chambers
Piece together past lives through an intriguing narrative while solving challenging and cleverly crafted puzzles!
Game started fine then upon opening a cave door it locked up on me. Graphics were nice. Game played simply. Wish I had more to add. Good luck to others.
I was quite excited when i started this game. There was a quaint retro feel to it. But by the time I had found 4 gems it had become repetitive and boring. There are interesting mini games to a point and it was definitely a fresh approach in an old style format. But I just became uninterested repeating patterns and entering names. Great start but needed more variation. For others this could be their cup of tea. For me it unfortunately became cold coffee.

Game loaded and ran fine with no glitches. Options for sound fx, music, voice fx and mute all. Option also for widescreen A girl and her sidekick, a few broken clocks to repair and time travel. That is your story in a nutshell.
This is one of those lovely games you can sit back and relax with. Not a HOG by any means though you do have an occasional object search. Even then they are short lists and obvious to anyone. This would fall into more of an adventure/puzzler though this is so laid back that even that category is a mis-nomer. The Storyline is interesting and full of quirks. Characters with both personality and humor. No long text interruptions, just small bites of verbal interaction. Most quite funny. I had set the music on a lower level at the start. It was there but not intrusive. Not a lot of locations but each one opens up to more area as the game progresses. The scenes are not static and feel alive. The game is not particularly linear. Once you have opened an area you are free to return to it. The puzzles in this are well done and the ones taking place in a toy store have the overall feel of a real toymakers handmade game. Simple but intriguing. Others, elsewhere, will have you testing your patience. The challenge here is to figure out your next needed action. These vary from finding items to using items to talking to the right individual. The game flows very easy and if you take a moment you can figure out your next move. The hint button in this refills quickly though other than with hidden objects it will not help you. It will only remind you to click elsewhere. There are achievements to be had though not all are needed to advance in the game. Some will think this game is short. I finished this game in about 3 hours. But I spent a lot of time replaying a very imaginative card game that falls in the middle.
I enjoyed this game more than I thought I would. The graphics, banter and overall feel were very relaxing and entertaining. The manipulation of time in the story was a nice twist and added extra challenge at certain points. Only 3 hours for me but quite a fun 3 hours none the less.
Standard hidden object . Nothing to connect the classic series with this game. Short, repetitive and similar to many others. Such a disappointment when this Thanksgiving gift use to be the thrill of year.

Swimming against the tide here I suppose. I found this game quite a refreshing change from the mind numbingly simple H0S that the genre has devolved into. The clues were imaginative and humorous. The story line was light and off center with clues subtly given. I do agree that some lighter scenes were needed a few times. And being able to move directionally would have been preferable to clicking an arrow. Some of the insects were beyond me to find but that is part of what made this enjoyable to me...the challenge. Something that doesn't occur with much frequency anymore. The game was short and I did find the ending a tad abrupt. But that being said... Kudos to the devs for attempting something fresh. Good first try!! I look forward to the next offering.

I thought the story wandered all over and seemed to not know which way it wanted to go. The puzzles were first rate and the HO scenes were well done but it just didn't seem to come together over all. Unfortunately I bought this and was disappointed that the story jumped into the drink....
