REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
I enjoyed this because it had everything that I liked in a game.
There is:
* Novice and Export modes of play;
* Journal;
* Map (not interactive);
* A special box to get certain items from.
The graphics are okay - not crystal clear or bright like you see in other games, but you do get used to them pretty quickly. I didn't realise the game was so long and you will be going to a lot of locations. However, you do everything before you move on, so there is no long traipse backwards and forwards to locate items you need.
I don't remember there being any voiceovers. You will be reading the journal a lot, especially when you come across pieces of paper that get put in the journal. This will come in handy in complete some of the mini-games. This doesn't take long - you can just quickly read it and move on.
There is a colourful box that you will find items for. When you have found a item, then the box glows and you will then know to use it. When you put that item in, then it will give you another item or gadget to use to carry on.
I really liked the straightforward slightly interactive hidden object games. These were not too hard and I found most items relatively easy to spot. There was also a spot the difference HOS as well.
There were a good variety of mini-games to play. A couple of them were quite hard and took me a while, however most of them were the standard HOS we all see and didn't take long to do. I enjoyed them all and got stuck into them.
All up the game took me about 7 hours to complete, which is quite long. I tried the Hint at the end of the game and it took about 30 seconds or so to refill.
Overall, a really good game and definitely worth playing. I personally love these sorts of games which are just a bit out of the norm and quirky. Go and have a looksie and give it a try - I'm glad I did.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

Review of completed game playing on the hardest mode.
Well, this game is certainly unique, and in a very good way. You play a character Ben who dreams about his wife Elizabeth who has died. You go from one scene being in the world of reality to dream state where dreams are like a weird cartoon and beyond. I loved the live actors and thought they did a great job.
There is:
* Live actors;
* Easy to Hard modes (with hints and skip turned off);
* 20 Achievements;
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* A cat to help you get items out of your reach;
* Find:
~ 10 photos;
~ 7 happy friends for the cat to play with; and
~ 10 dream catchers,
to get the achievements.
The graphics are okay - very old school, a bit dark and needs to be fine turned. Some scenes are good and others look like they have been hand drawn. This took a bit of getting used to, but don't let that put you off because the story and moving around from dream to dream is a lot of fun.
The game was predominantly slightly interactive FROGs (find bits to make it a whole). I haven't played many of these before, but they weren't too hard to do and it made a nice change.
There were a good variety of mini-games. I managed to do them all without any tantrums (and yes I throw spectacular ones). The hardest ones for me was opening the safe and getting the gears to work - they took a while to get my head around, however I enjoyed doing them all.
Overall, a good game and definitely worth checking out. Don't let the graphics put you off. I'm sure the developer will take this on board to improve them and who knows what will come from them next time - no cookie cutter game here.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
In the main game you play Belle to save your future husband the Prince. In the bonus game you personally go after the witch to get rid of her for good. This is such an awesome game.
There is:
* Easy, Normal and Expert modes of play;
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Journal;
* Map (not interactive, but shows where tasks are to do);
* Scoreboard (time on how long you took and accuracy to play the game).
The graphics are superb - very colourful and crisp. Sound is very good and the music is orchestral.
The hidden object games are straightforward. Items are clear to see but each HOS can be very challenging. A few items I had to look in a dictionary or on-line because I didn't know what they were. Oh well, you learn something new every day!
The mini-games are great and have a good variety. My favourite was killing the spiders with my gun - that was fun. None of the mini-games are too hard or frustrating, but a few of them have a very good challenge.
In the Extras you have a scoreboard which shows how long you took to play the game and your accuracy. It took me seven and a hours to play and I got 73% accuracy - so definitely room for improvement. The next time I play I will definitely be more careful on what I click on if I want to beat my score. You also can read the original story of Beauty and the Beat if you wish.
There is a lot to do in this game with plenty of locations. Even though there is no interactive map, I did not get lost or wonder where to go next.
Overall, this is a fabulous game to play and worth having a look at. Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
You play Aaron and are looking for your brother Darren who went missing 20 years ago.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Hard and Custom modes of play;
* 37 Achievements;
* Interactive map;
* Find 10 Collectibles;
* Find wallpaper puzzle pieces.
The graphics are quite good and clear to see everything. Colours are bright but not gaudy.
Sound is good. I honestly didn't even notice the music but I found I was playing to silence most of the time.
The hidden object games are varied. In some you need to find 5 objects and take a key to unlock the next lot of objects. Some are interactive where you find one object to use to find another, etc. Some are silhouette and you need to find two of each item. Some are find the differences. All of these are very easy to do.
There are a huge range of mini-games to play. Some of these only took me seconds to do and there were others that took a while. There are a lot, and I mean a huge, amount of sliding and rotating tiles games to play. I grew bored with them after I while, but you may like them more than me. A lot of time was spent getting the tiles in the right order and/or colour.
The wallpaper puzzle pieces are not hidden, however some of them do morph, and you just pick them up as you go through each scene. I stopped and completed the puzzles as I went, but you may want to do them at the end.
You have a rune sign on your hand that wards off evil spirits. However, be warned this can be tricky to use and you need to hold the mouse for quite a while before the pieces click in together. I got used to it after about the third time I used it, but its very tricky and clunky to use and I know a lot of fishies won't like this. I didn't like it much and sort of gritted my teeth as I did each one.
The 10 Collectibles are very easy to find. They are not hidden and you just grab them as you go.
I didn't need to use the interactive map at all because you are only going a couple of steps forward or backward.
All up the game and bonus took me about 6 hours, give or take.
Overall, its not a bad game. The characters are nice, the HOS and mini-games are not taxing on the brain, and it will fill in an afternoon or evening without getting too bored.

I've played all the other Witches Legacy games but this one was so different - and not in a good way.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Normal, Hard and Custom modes;
* 12 Achievements;
* Interactive map;
* Collect 34 morphing objects;
* Collect 36 puzzle pieces;
* Interactive map.
The graphics are awful. There are a lot of pinks and blues which made the scenes too colourful and unrealistic. This was not the case in previous games.
Sound is good. I didn't really notice the music too much.
The hidden object games are highly interactive straightforward which are very easy to do. However, if you don't feel like doing them, then you can play pairs instead, which I personally found boring.
The mini-games are very easy and don't take long to do.
The 34 morphing objects and 36 puzzle pieces are very easy to find. A finger comes over them anyway so there is no chance of missing any.
All up the game and bonus took me just over 4 hours playing on Hard mode.
Overall, with the gaudy graphics and very simple playing, I think I have finished with this series for good. However, this game may be good for novices.

This is a very easy game to play which is perfect for beginners only. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom modes;
* 29 Achievements;
* Interactive map;
* Journal.
The graphics are okay - very bright and gaudy and could be very cluttered in some scenes. I personally hate these sort of graphics but other fishies may like them.
Sound is good. The music I hardly noticed, however I was playing to silence most of the time.
The hidden object games are extremely easy to play and only take a minute to do.
The mini-games are a joke. Some of these can be done in seconds. I have seen them all before and found nothing new to excite me.
You won't need to use the interactive map because everything is done within a couple of steps away.
The achievements are easy to get without any thought process put into it.
All up the game and bonus took me about 5 hours to play.
Overall, not the best of games and I rather regret buying it. However, this may be a good game for novices who want to build up their experience and expertise.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME, BONUS AND EXTRAS
In the main game you are to rescue your sister from a scorned lover and in the bonus game you play a detective to see if the ghost is back.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom modes;
* 16 Achievements;
* Interactive map;
* Secret Room;
* Find:
~ 21 morphing objects (in game and bonus);
~ 24 petals (in game and bonus)
~ photographs for the photo collection.
The graphics are very good - clear and easy to see everything.
Sound is good - with lots of creepy sounds, wailing and footsteps. Music is orchestral.
The hidden object games are interactive silhouette, straightforward and finding pairs. These are easy to do and don't take long.
There are a good variety of mini-games to play. Most are very easy, but a couple (like weighing the scales and moving a flower up to the top of the board) took me a while. There is nothing frustrating or too hard to do.
In the Secret Room you are to find morphing objects through four areas - like finding dolls, candles, cats, cassettes, etc. This only took me 7 minutes to achieve - so not long. You can replay it to better your time - but I didn't bother.
The morphing objects and petals are not hidden and you just collect them along the way. These are very easy to spot.
I didn't bother using the interactive map because all tasks are done fairly close together - just a few steps forwards or backwards, so there was no need for it.
All up the game and bonus took me about 4 hours playing on Custom mode with everything turned off (like hint, skip and conjecture pointer).
So overall, an enjoyable but very easy game.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
I was put on to this game by another fishie, Didersham, so thank you. Honestly, I can't recommend this game high enough.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual and Expert modes of play;
* Journal;
* Slight interactive HOS.
The graphics are gritty and dirty which made the ambiance of the game perfect. Everywhere is clear to see and there are no dark or blurry scenes at all.
Sound is very good. You hear a lot of the wind howling and footsteps, which was kind of eerie, but not scary. The music is mainly piano and plays quietly in the background.
The hidden object games are slightly interactive which you will do twice. These are not too hard or frustrating because items are clear to see and grab. Each HOS takes about a couple of minutes to do.
I liked the mini-games which had a good variety. These were not taxing or too hard and I was able to move on quickly to the next scene.
All up the game took me about 5 hours to do and I loved every minute of it. I wished it had been longer because I was really enjoying myself.
I liked playing a journalist and meeting all the other characters. Its a fun game and I'm totally sure you will enjoy it.
Happy playing fishies. This game is a gem.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW FROM COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
In the main game you play a detective to find Louise who has disappeared with an artifact to find her missing husband, Roland. In the Bonus you once again help Louise who has been poisoned.
There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue)
* Casual, Experienced, Masterful and Custom modes;
* Interactive map;
* 10 Achievements;
* Find 26 owls (game only)
* Find 7 Collectors.
In this game you can choose to have a Male, Female or No voice at all.
The graphics are very good - clear and easy to see everything.
Sound is good. The music is orchestral and very beautiful.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward and silhouette. These are very easy to do and don't take long.
The mini-games are also very easy and you won't burn any brain cells playing these.
The 26 owls to find are not hidden and you just pick them up along the way. A hand does not come over them, which I thought was good. The same goes with the Collector figures - very easy to see.
I did not need to use the interactive map at all because you are only going a couple of steps forward or backwards, so there was no need to use it.
Its very easy to get all of the Achievements.
All up the game and bonus took me 4 hours to play.
So overall, I feel like I have played this game dozens of times before. There is nothing unique or different from lots of other games out there. However, its a nice game to play without giving it too much thought.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW FROM COMPLETED GAME, BONUS and EXTRAS
Wow, this is the biggest game I've ever played which took me nearly 18 hours to complete the game, bonus and extras.
There is:
* Voiceovers;
* Easy, Normal and Hard modes (you can turn off Skip and Hint);
* Interactive map;
* Diary.
The graphics are superb - well defined, easy on the eye and very crisp. Colours are not too bright or garish.
Sound is very good. The music is orchestral and very beautiful.
The hidden object games are interactive silhouette. Find one item to use to find another item etc. These had a good challenge to them and I enjoyed doing them.
There are a huge amount of mini-games to play. There is making potions, lots of sliding tiles, restoring a damaged pattern, turning circles to move the figurines to their correct order, and so much more. Most of them are logical and not too hard or frustrating, but there were a few that took me a while to get. There were some that I had never played before which I enjoyed.
I don't normally use the interactive map in most games, but because this game is so big and having lots of locations, I played about 80% of the main game and then decided to use it.
So ultimately do you buy the CE or SE?
In the CE you have 35 morphing objects and 28 manuscripts to find. In the Extras you can do a quiz and answer 20 questions, do 7 puzzles where you have to restore the image from mosiac pieces, redo the mini-games, etc. I enjoyed doing these.
I truly loved this game and I believe that it doesn't really matter which version you get - you'll still be playing a fabulous game.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!
