This is a very challenging game, so get out your old notebook cause you're going to need it.
There is:
* Easy, Casual and Adventure modes of play;
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* 20 Achievements;
* Find 21 Roses.
The graphics range from being poor to okay. However, I could find items I needed. There is plenty of colour, but I wish the graphics had been more sharper.
Sound is good and the music is orchestral.
The mini-games are mostly very challenging and take a while to do each one. I had my notebook with me to write things down just in case it was of relevance. In all honesty I didn't like them very much - not because they were challenging - but I didn't enjoy doing them because they were taking so long which became frustrating.
I got about 4 hours into the game and then it started to glitch big time and kept coming up with errors and throwing me out of the game. So, after numerous attempts to get around them, I just gave up. I'm now going to delete it and move on to the next game.
I hope you have better luck than me in getting the game to work properly. I don't normally have any problems, so I'm putting it down to this game alone.
I don't recommend this game.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
Overall, I quite liked the game but there were a few flaws that I think could be ironed out for the next game. There are:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Challenge and Expert modes of play;
* Diary;
* Interactive map.
The graphics are quite good. They are very colourful and a bit like watching a cartoon, however most items are easy to locate.
Sound is good and the music is mainly orchestral and piano.
The hidden object games are slightly interactive straightforward which you will do twice. I noticed that the items are gone from the first HOP when you come to play it again. These are very easy to do and only take a couple of minutes each.
There are a good variety of games, however some of them I became frustrated with and then became bored. It wasn't so much of the challenge (which was good) but more that I just didn't like them. But each to their own I suppose. Make sure that you look in the diary because some of the answers are in there to complete the mini-games.
The one peeve I had was the time it took as you moved around the scenes - too long and it became annoying. However, that is something which could be rectified in the next game. There were a few wrong items in the HOPs which only a hint could help with - playing on Expert it took over 5 minutes for the Hint to fill up.
The interactive map works well and also shows where tasks are to be performed, which will help if you get stuck.
All up the game took me a about 5 hours or so, which is good value for money. I did enjoy the story and the narrator who told it - I liked his voice.
Overall, not a bad game and I think you will either love it or hate it - its just one of those games.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUSES
Well, the devs definitely came up with a unique story sitting around their board table on Monday morning. Let's think right outside the box and give us fishies something worth playing - and they did. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom modes;
* Notebook;
* 15 Achievements;
* Interactive map;
* Find 36 marbles to reveal the secrets of the Asylum;
* Three stories: Outcasts, Runaway and Brilliant Mind.
The graphics are spectacular - colourful, crisp and well defined. I loved going from scene to scene not knowing what to expect. I was never disappointed.
Sound is very good and the music is mainly fast orchestral.
The hidden object games are fun to do. Everything is crystal clear and easy to find. There are interactive straightforward, silhouette, finding pairs, etc. You don't spend a lot of time of each one, so you can get on with the game.
There are a huge variety of mini-games ranging from easy to hard. There were a couple of spider web games I spent ages on, and there were some that I spent some time in getting the tiles or jewels to their rightful places, etc. None are too hard or make you want to skip them. I did them all and had fun with them.
Finding the 36 marbles in the Outcasts and Runaway games are easy. When you have found them all then you can play the Brilliant Mind game (which only takes a few minutes).
I didn't use the interactive map at all throughout the games because you are only going a few steps forwards or backwards, so there was no point in using it.
Yes, it is possible to get all the Achievements. I did this time, but I felt I had to work hard to get them.
All up the game and bonuses took me about 7 hours to do. I thought that was long enough because it is a full on adventure with plenty to do. When I had finished the games I felt like I had played enough to enjoy them without getting too mentally shattered.
Overall, an unmissable fantastic game and definitely worth putting in your collection.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
I really liked the game cause it kept me busy and out of trouble! There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Advanced, Expert and Custom modes;
* Objectives log;
* Interactive map;
* 8 Achievements (bronze, silver and gold).
The graphics are pretty good, although I did find a lot of scenes were a bit dark, however there was plenty of colour and I found everything I needed without any problem.
Sound is good and the music is piano and orchestral. There is plenty of background noise to give that creep factor which I liked.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward, silhouette and find the differences. These were easy to do because items were clear to see. There are morphing objects in them as well which morphed quite slowly to give that bit of extra challenge.
I enjoyed the mini-games. None were too hard and it was mostly the case of getting items/colours in the right order. Some took a while to do.
There are quite a few collectibles to find throughout the game (not the bonus). These are:
* 15 Family Tree;
* 15 Doll Collectors;
* 15 Coins; and
* 15 Scrolls.
A hand DOES NOT come over these, so the challenge is there to find them all. I found the dolls easily enough, but the others were a lot harder. Nope, I didn't get them all, so lost the achievement for those (doh!), but I'll play the game again down the track and have another crack at them.
All up the game and bonus took me about 8 hours, so good value for money.
Overall, a good solid game to play. It has everything I like about a game - challenge, morphing objects and plenty of places to discover.
Definitely recommended. Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
A very unusual game - a bit odd but has an easy story line to follow. There are:
* Beginner and Expert modes of play;
* Some voiceovers, but mainly you are reading;
* Diary; and
* Interactive map.
The graphics are just okay. They are quite dark and muted, however most of the time I could see around without too much difficulty. These graphics seem very old school but if the game was updated, then I think it could have potential because the game is just that little bit out of the norm and most fishies like that and respond to it well.
There are some voiceovers but most of the time you are reading what is said, plus you will be looking in your diary to find answers to some mini-games, etc. There is one piece of music which is played on a loop, but its quite nice and I didn't turn it down. For some reason I keep thinking I've heard this music before - maybe on TV - because it sounds familiar.
The slightly interactive hidden object games are very cluttered and quite dark to find items, so I had to go slowly. You will do each of these twice. I had to use the Hint a few times because I just couldn't see the items.
There are a good variety of mini-games ranging from quite easy to hard. Some of these took me quite a while to do, and in a couple of them it was just plain luck that I got them in the right sequence, etc. You are going to need some patience on a few of them.
All up the game took me a good 7 hours or so to do. Its quite a long and complex game with lots of locations.
Overall, not a bad game, but its not to everyone's taste. I liked the story line and its quirkiness but not the graphics.
Definitely trial before you buy to see if its for you.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
This really is a good game and so worth playing. In the main game you play Emma Roberts to find your colleague Jack and to rescue Sonia. In the bonus game you once again help Sonia and to finally put the Spencers to rest. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Normal, Hard and Custom modes of play;
* Interactive map;
* Tasks bag;
* 9 Achievements;
* Find 34 morphing objects in game and bonus;
* Find 25 Collections in game and bonus.
The graphics are very bright and colourful but crisp and easy on the eye. Sound is very good and the music is orchestral, piano and violin.
The hidden object games are interactive straightforward and silhouette which you will do twice. These are easy to do because items are clear to see. Alternatively, you can do puzzles instead of HOPs if you feel like a change.
There are a great variety of mini-games. Most of these are pretty much straightforward and easy to do. A couple of them took me a bit longer to get in the right order. I didn't skip any due to boredom or frustration, so they can't have been too hard.
There is one morphing object and one collection in each scene. A 'hand' comes over them so there is no chance of not being able to find them. I always do these first as I go through each scene so I don't forget about them, however the interactive map shows if you have still to find one or both of them. You get an achievement when you find them all.
It is possible to get all of the Achievements. I did get them all this time, but this doesn't happen often for me (you know those achievements - find 5 items in 5 seconds or 10 items in 10 seconds - yep never gonna happen for me - my eyes and the mouse go off in different directions!).
All up the game took me around 7 hours to do playing on the Hard mode. I'm not a fast player so you may do this a lot faster.
Overall, a good adventure game and definitely worth playing.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME and BONUS
I enjoyed this really long game. In the main game you play Laura James and in the Bonus you play Will. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Easy, Normal and Hard modes (can turn off Skip and Hint);
* Interactive maps;
* 20 Achievements;
* Diary;
* Find 16 Collectible Cards;
* Find 35 morphing objects (in game only)
* Find 9 Shields, 9 Musical Notes, 9 Apples and 8 Miners (in game only)
The graphics are sharp, crisp and the colours are easy on the eye. I loved roaming around having a look. Sound is good and the music is the same as the last two games which is fast orchestral.
The hidden object games are highly interactive silhouette. Find one item to use to find another, etc. There is no deviation from this. These had a good challenge to them and took a while to do.
There are a huge variety of mini-games to do. None of these are too hard or boring to do and I was able to get back to the game fairly fast - just as well, its a big game.
There are 16 Collectible Cards to find throughout the main game. These are all factual information about New York and its history which I found really interesting. Once you have found all these, then you get 20 extra levels of mini-games.
Throughout the main game you will also have to find 9 Shields, 9 Musical Notes, 9 Apples and 8 Miners. These are easy to find because a 'hand' comes over them, so no chance of missing any. The same goes with the morphing objects as well - yep the 'hand'. It would have been nice to turn that off to make it a little harder - maybe one day.
It is possible to get most, if not all, of the achievements.
All up the game, bonus and extras took me a good 12 hours, so good value for money.
Overall, a very good game with plenty to do. Its a big game with lots of locations, so you will be kept busy. I enjoyed it and think it is well worth playing.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME AND BONUS
This is quite a good game and something different to play. There is:
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Casual, Normal, Expert and Custom modes of play;
* 14 Achievements;
* Interactive maps (there are a few of them);
* Journal;
* Find 52 morphing masks in Game and Bonus;
* Camera, together with a dark room to develop photos.
The graphics are very good and well defined. Everything is clear to see and to roam around. I liked the colours - not too bright or looked fake.
Sound is good. The music is mainly orchestral and piano.
The hidden object games are interactive putting items back and straightforward. These are fairly easy to do with plenty of interaction. However, if you don't feel like doing HOPs then you can play Match 3.
There are a good mixture of mini-games. I've seen them all before but some had a good challenge to get in the right order and/or colour. I enjoyed doing them and didn't feel the urge to skip any due to boredom.
There are 52 morphing masks to find throughout the game and bonus. These had a good challenge to them because they morphed very slowly and a hand DOES NOT come over them (at least not in Expert mode). I enjoyed looking for these. Get them all and you get an achievement.
You have a camera with you throughout the main game where you will take photos in certain scenes. This is located at the bottom right hand corner of your screen. If you are in another location, just press the light bulb which will take you to your dark room to develop the photos. You will be doing this a few times - buts its easy and doesn't take long. When you have finished, just press the curly arrow again and it will take you back to the scene you were in.
All up the game and bonus took me about 6 hours or so. I got most of the achievements without too much effort.
Overall, quite a good game and I enjoyed it. It did have the feel of being a bit old school - who knows maybe it was supposed to. With only the morphing masks to find and the bonus not connected to the game, you would quite happily wait for the SE.
Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!

I tried to like this game and came back to play it over a few months, but unfortunately it didn't get any better.
There are voiceovers, Casual and Expert modes of play and a Journal.
There are 26 playing cards to find throughout the game. Most of these are easy to spot, but a few were well hidden.
The graphics are okay. There is plenty of colour but everything just feels washed out and depressing. The music sounds like what you would expect at a circus - pipe organ music which plays quietly in the background.
The whole game is basically slightly interactive hidden object games which you will do twice. I noticed that items from the first HOP stay gone when you come back to it later. These are easy to do because items are clear to see. However, I found I was doing these every step I took, which became tedious and repetitive and I grew bored with these very fast. I love doing HOPs but if there are too many, then it distracts you from playing the game and becomes a chore.
The mini-games are very easy to play and I've seen them a hundred times before.
The game took me about 4 hours to play but I didn't enjoy it and just wanted to finish with the game and delete it as I won't be playing it again.
Please trial before you buy. You may enjoy the circus life more than me.
I don't recommend this game.

REVIEW OF COMPLETED GAME
I really enjoyed this game. Its like reading a comic book but you are actually part of it. There is:
* Casual, Advanced and Expert modes of play;
* Voiceovers (with dialogue);
* Interactive map; and
* Journal.
The graphics are very good and clear to see everything. Sound is good and the music is orchestral. The story line is easy to follow and made me laugh a few times because its kind of campy and cheesy, but fun.
The hidden object are slightly interactive straightforward which you will do twice. These don't take long because they are not too cluttered or tiny.
There are a wide variety of hidden object games. Some of these had a good challenge to them, which I enjoyed.
The game took me about 5 hours or so, not skipping or hinting any HOP or mini-game.
Overall, a great game to play. I played on Expert mode and when I had to find out how someone was killed, I had to find the clues of how it happened on my own. I liked that.
Definitely worth have a look at. Happy playing fishies.
I recommend this game!
