I played the trial for a short time, but I couldn't get beyond the voices! The music wasn't a problem. I suppose decent voice actors are just too expensive. I have plenty of games already, so I don't need to subject myself to this one.
This game was free to me, so I have no real complaints. I love the bright colors and I enjoy hidden object games, but this game is quite repetitive. It took me quite a long time to finish, but it was still enjoyable. What I really liked was that the narrative was in actual English with proper grammar. That is not usual in these games. This would be a good game for older children, but they should be warned that not all is as it seems. Accidentally clicking on some items is confusing. The blue cape is a green pig, harpoon is a faucet, plane is a globe, bow tie is a snake, moth is a pie, shoes are cherries, bird is a paint tube, and more. Try it for yourself.
Apparently, some reviewers did not have the storyline on the cutscenes, because it definitely was on my trial game. Or maybe they just can't read. My eyesight is not the best, but I was able to find most items without much trouble. If I just could not find something, I used the hint button and then replayed the scene. Nothing lost there. I can't see a reason to buy the CE version. The games in this series are all pretty similar, but the storyline does progress as the episodes are added. If you like hidden object games, you should give this one a try.

I have four other games in the Incredible Dracula series and I like them all. This game was a mistake as far as I am concerned. Game play is extremely jerky, which never happens when I play the others. The items to be gathered are also very small and difficult for me to see. I have a large monitor and that never happens with the other games. I regret getting this game.

I have a number of Mystery Case Files games, but I can't say I enjoyed all of them. I especially detest the Rube Goldberg- type of puzzles. I'm too impatient. I have played only the trial of this game, but it seems to be a little easier than some of the others. I notice that most of the bad reviews come from expert players, which I will never be. I have no problem with the graphics, maybe because my eyesight isn't 20-20 anyway. I will wait for a sale or credit before buying this one, but everyone should give it a try before buying.

Regarding Mamma_Llama's dislike of the mailboxes: Really? Cyclops, minotaurs, time and space travel are okay, but mailing letters is too far out! Come on, the whole point of these games is fantasy. I like Hercules - he lolls in his hammock and lets others do the work, except when they need a boulder destroyed or something similar. The graphics are great for old eyes and you needn't do any frantic clicking. I even (accidently) beat the developer's time a few times! Sometimes I even listen to the music. This series lets your brain rest a little. Try it, you might like it.

Look, not everyone has played as many games as some of the experts, and people enjoy different things, thank goodness! I have quite a few of the games "starring" Dalimars, but I can't say I liked them all. This game has excellent graphics, the voiceovers are well done and the music isn't too intrusive (most of the time I mute the music). I did enjoy the references to other games in the series, but they aren't necessary to play this one. If you don't like hidden object scenes, you probably won't like this. I don't particularly care for the Rube Goldberg-type puzzles, but I try them anyway. Just play the demo and maybe wait for the SE version.

This game is bright and the graphics are excellent, even for my old eyes, but... After trying a couple of levels over and over and...well, you get the drift. I have tried many variations of building or not, especially on level 20, but I just cannot get it right. This game seems so simple, and it is when played on the easiest level, but the workers just don't move quickly enough even when they are promoted. There isn't even a forum where you can ask for help. Finally, I just uninstalled it. I tried it before purchase, but I didn't realize there would be no help.

I must have purchased this game when it was really cheap, so I'm not too upset. I have plenty of games to keep me busy (or waste my time, if you consider that). One reviewer of the SE said it took 1 hr 30 min to play the bonus game. There is no bonus in the SE version; you must purchase the CE if you want a bonus and strategy guide. I was surprised when the last game directed me to my journal, which does not exist in the SE version. Stupid, abrupt ending.

Sir Baskerville seems to have a slightly French accent, definitely not English. I watch a lot of British television and my husband's family is English, so the accent is important. Moriarty is the villain here, but the story leaves out a lot of information. The game locks up at different points and some of the puzzle games have no reset button. I made some errors on the final puzzle, but I cannot fix the problem, so no bonus game for me! Apparently, no one has posted any forum advice for this game. Sorry I wasted my money. Try the game, but be advised that the trial worked for me, but not the full game.
