I played this game for the full trial (it actually allowed me sixty minutes). I almost didn't bother, because of a couple of not-so-good reviews, but I found their complaints to be non- issues. The game IS full screen, there ARE voice-overs, the black screens between scenes last only TWO seconds, and the scenes are bright. I like HOGs, but I also have objections to some things, like snails all over the place! Yuck! In any case, these games are not expected to be realistic - where have you ever seen such collections of junk in real life? This is escapism. I will buy this game, but in the SE version. This is one of the better hidden object games; ignore the negative reviews and try it.

I bought this as a Daily Double, and I am not disappointed. This game is fun, the objects are fairly easy to see, I was able to solve the puzzles without having a brain freeze, and it didn't involve dark, grusome settings, which is a plus as far as I'm concerned! I also appreciate the fact that it didn't take six hours out of my life to complete. I have to add that this is the third Treasure Seekers game that I have purchased, and they kind of grow on you. Try it; you might like it.

First off, I really get aggravated when my "60 minute" trial ends after 40 minutes, and that includes time to let my dog in and out of the house twice! The graphics are good, the voice-over is so-so, and the puzzles are not difficult, but the inventor seems like an egomaniac. Maybe he redeems himself later in the game. The storyline may develop into something interesting. I would buy the SE version, if it were on sale, but I won't bother with a Collectors' Edition. Certainly try this one before you purchase it.

I bought this game at the sale price, so I'm not too upset. It isn't the worst game I've played, but it is certainly far from the best. If you adore hidden object games, this is for you, although some of the items are unrecognizable. The "cow" silhouette is actually a sheep, and the "acrodian"...well, you can figure it out! And I absolutely hate puzzles that have you filling bottles of liquid at different levels. In all, the storyline wasn't too bad, but the Rube Goldberg ending was out of left field. Try the game; you might like it.

I only played the trial. The illustrations are ugly. The objects are fairly easy to find, but the names are not always understandable. Even at the sale price, I wouldn't waste my money on this one.

I'm a grandma, and I enjoyed this game. It didn't take hours of my time, and there were no strange words (misspelled or mistranslated). It didn't start late on a rainy, dark night, with a lone woman driving off the road, as so many hidden object games do. I didn't have any trouble with over-clicking, because the objects are recognizable, if not obvious. This would be a good gift for the ten to thirteen age group. It is not in the least scary or apt to cause nightmares. I recommend it.

Even though someone gave this one star because of the nearly impossible to see hidden objects, I decided to try this game. It loads, but it presents a black screen when I try to play. This happened several times. I haven't had this problem with other games. Don't waste your time on this one.

I bought this when I first started playing the hidden object games, and I did enjoy it. The objects are not weird-looking, as in some games. The puzzles take a little thought, but are solvable in a short time. My only question is: what does it mean by "germanderie"? I think it is supposed to be "gendarmerie", as in French para-military police. This is a fun game that doesn't take a long time to complete.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.

I played the trial game for thirty-eight minutes (it ended when I still had twenty-two minutes left - some trial!). I don't see all that well, and it was frustrating trying to decide what I had to find. I own Ravenhearst and Return to Ravenhearst, and I enjoy them, but I think I will pass on this game. Many people will like it though.

I enjoy hidden object games and this is a good one. The graphics are great, and most of the hidden objects are recognizable, unlike some games. I did have trouble finding "garnet", which wasn't what I thought it to be! I was actually able to progress rapidly through the game on my own, only using the strategy guide occasionally.
