I liked this game a lot. The storyline is one I don't remember playing before. Great concept and well executed. The mini games offered different levels of difficulty, which was good. I liked the bonus content too, especially the "collectibles". A good game all around. Happy Gaming

I usually like these games but this one was kind of blah. The storyline was a good one and could have been great. I finished in a couple of hours on "expert" so it is a quick one as well. If you buy this one don't get the CE. The bonus game was really short, boring and ridiculous. It was actually the worst bonus game I have ever played and I have a lot of games.
I don't recommend this game.
You've been called to investigate a strange purple tide. And that's when the mermaid shows up...

I love Dark Parable games. These games always have the most rich colors and intricate patterns of all games. They remind me of the Art Nouveau era (Tiffany lamps etc.).Dark Parables also have their own take on HO's, where you find pieces to make a whole item. The storyline and music are great too. I always look forward to them. Worth the buy! Happy Gaming

I really liked this game. If any of you have played the "Grim Tales" before,, this one brings them all together. It is another "painting" game, a genre I thought stopped a while ago. But, it is a very good one.Some of the mini games are the best I have played in a long time. I would play a whole game of them, hmm are you listening BF.
there were no difficult miini's or HO's. I played on the toughest mode and didn't need the strategy guide. The bonus content wasn't that great. Not much to do and really not necessary regarding the story. I also love the collectibles. Happy Gaming

Hi gamers I've been out of commission for over a month so I have been catching up on games I missed. I LOVE this game. I also loved another ROF game as well. The storyline is great, visuals, music, HOG's and mini games great as well. I even loved the very inventive "collectibles". I think it is worth the buy. On another note, and this note may put me in the "yeah she has lost her mind" category but if I saw a guy out one night who looks like the death dude I would give him my phone number is seconds.. Then again, I have always liked the bad boy, biker and long haired musician type. Just sayin.... :)

Yay my favorite side kick is back. This game is visually incredible. It really showcases how far HO's have come. The voiceovers are so perfect it's like watching a movie. The Ho's varied or you can match cards. Great mini-games as well. Even the bonus game was great!!! It's a truly awesome game. Worth the buy as a CE too. Happy Gaming

I just finished playing the game plus bonus. I really liked this game a lot! There are collectibles to find. They are puzzle pieces to three paintings. They aren't hard to find and you need them to play extra mini games. I played on the most difficult selection and got through fine. I didn't even use the map, but I wish I did at times. Honestly, I just forgot it was there. The storyline, visuals, voiceovers and music were all very good. There are a few new mini-games I haven't played yet, which is always good. The Ho's vary some are just find the item, others find the shadows and others create something from moving items. There are no repeat HO's "YAY". and there are so many places different areas to look around, gotta love that. I looked at the menu for some other games from this developer and they didn't have a list. If this is a first go at HO, they hit it out of the park. If not, well it is still an awesome game. Happy Gaming

I have a few new games I haven't played but when I saw a new "puppet show" I put them on hold. I have always loved the series but this one wasn't nearly as good as past ones. There aren't any typical HO's instead you need to find items listed. I liked that part. The storyline seemed to be okay in the beginning, but it went downhill as I kept playing. The bonus game was the same. It started to give a new twist on the main game, but then I was more confused than ever. I even played the "movie" scenes to make sense of it, and I couldn't. It almost seemed that this game was thrown together without a proper story in place. Inspector - check, love story - check, helping police - check and maniac - check. In my humble opinion I would try the free hour before purchasing.

Hi Gamers, I really liked this game. I have played hundreds of games but I don't remember a Viking storyline. Then again I grew up in the 70's so my memory isn't very good. The visuals are good which is the norm for an ER game.A far as level of challenge goes, I played on the most difficult option and I only skipped one mini-game because it was taking entirely too long and I got frustrated. There is another option for the HO's. Instead of playing the HO's they have a new twist. It is a Tetris kind of game. Instead of shapes dropping there are pieces like dominoes with two images and you need to match up 3. It is not easy to play or I am just totally uncoordinated, which may be the case. The bonus game didn't really tie in with the main game. It is a Viking legend but I didn't see the connection. However, it is a lengthy bonus game with several new areas to explore. It took me a couple of hours to complete. So I think the CE here is worth it.
I recommend this game!

Hi Gamers, Another amazing game from Eipix I really love this game. The visuals are colorful and amazing. I love the Art Nouveau influence in the graphics. My favorite artists are Maxfield Parrish and Louis Comfort Tiffany. The voiceovers are also great The storyline is very imaginative and awesome. Just a great game all around. You can play marble shooter rather than the HO's. I only played the marble game three times because the graphics in the HO's are so beautiful. There are collectible flowers and morphing objects in the HO's. The bonus game is worth the price of the CE.
I recommend this game!
