I almost didn't buy this game because of a couple of bad reviews. Yes there is "ice" involved but it is a very different storyline. I loved everything about it. I always play on the most difficult level and this is one of the first games in a long time that I actually used the strategy guide! It was difficult in spots and I was clueless about how to proceed. The visuals, sound track, mini-games all top notch. The bonus game was great as well and did have a LOT to do with the story. Worth the CE buy in my book. Happy Gaming!

This is such an awesome game that I can't compare it to another. I will say it is my fav since Cursery the Crooked Cat, and that was a long time ago. Everything about it is great. It is almost like being in a movie and playing a part. Yes it is THAT good. I can't think of one negative comment. The visuals are stunning, storyline, mini games and Ho's all great. It took me two days to finish it! I love a long playing game :) My advice. Don't pass this one up. Happy Gaming

I had to use hint a few times and at the end I was thinking...that little kid is a genius! All in all a great game. Happy Gaming

I really loved this game. I played the harder level and it took two days plus to finish it! The storyline is awesome and very diffierent. Some HO's are matching items that go together. The mini-games are good and a few of them so difficult I had to Skip them. I had to use hint more than five times too. I have only one bad thing to say about this and it really bothered me. The dialog went by so quickly that I missed half of what was said. I tried speed reading and I still couldn't read it fast enough. Notes you can always look up but the dialog gets lost. Other than that it really is a great game and I'm glad I purchased it!!!

I really liked this game, a lot When I purchased it there were only a few reviews and they weren't favorable. I think one read " just a lot of painting". THAT made me buy it. I love art type games (ie. Mosaic Galore, Drawn etc.) and I wish there were more. I loved the storyline right up until the end. It wasn't very challenging, I played on the most difficult and it took me a few hours. This may sound strange but my second favorite thing is the card game in extras. I can't stop playing it!! Now if there was a game created based on the card game..... Happy Gaming

Don't pass this one up!!!! I haven't written many reviews lately but I had to submit mine for this game. It really is an awesome game and the best one I have played in ages, well in my humble opinion anyway. The storyline is great and a nice take on the "wolf" theme. This visuals, music, voiceovers, mini games and HO's are all top notch. I played on "hard" and it was the most difficult game I have played in months. I had to skip a mini-game, which I never do. I even had to check the strategy guide now and then. It took me over six hours to finish the game, which is always a plus. My only complaint is the bonus game which started out good but ended quickly and made no sense at all. I would suggest just buying the standard game but you may need the strategy guide. WORTH THE BUY Happy Gaming

I should have paid more attention to the reviews. I remember enjoying the other Forgotten Kingdoms so I bought it. BIG mistake. It is challenging so I rated that higher. There are a few things that annoyed me. One, is the pointer, it just points one way so trying to go back or to the left or right isn't easy. The story line is horrible..well, almost ridiculous. One character annoys the heck out of me. Basically this is the worst game I have played in ages and I play A LOT!! Spoiler below on the ridiculous statement. How does someone walk into a castle and steal something very, very important!! Plus, the thief is a kid...go figure.
I don't recommend this game.
All the adults have vanished. Is this a child's dream, or nightmare?

I haven't been writing many reviews lately, but I'm making an exception. I LOVE the face on the bad guy, it's awesome!! I loved the game as well, but that face!!! The visuals, HO's, mini-games are all great, as is the music. The bonus game works very well with the story, so I'm glad I bought the CE. I'm confused about the new bonus "secret rooms". What happens when you complete all of the HO's and mini-games? Nothing happened when I was done :(. Anyway, Happy Gaming!!

When I checked out this game, the reviews were less than favorable. I played the demo and liked the storyline so I bought it. I wish I paid more attention to the reviews. The storyline has great potential, in the beginning, then it just gets, well, dumb. The mini-games were very easy and I played on the most difficult level. IF you are thinking of purchasing it, the bonus chapter is awful, in my opinion, so the basic game would be fine.
I don't recommend this game.
Violett is reluctant to move to the dreary countryside. But when a strange light lures her to into a world of magic, she may never find herself bored again!

This game came up as a $2.99 game so I thought I would check it out. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!! It's the most fun I have had playing a game in ages. I love playing the HO games, but this is very different and a great change of pace. It's listed as a "puzzle" game but it's more of an incredible adventure. The storyline is fantastic, landscapes are beautiful, and the characters are awesome. It's more difficult than most HO's. I've been playing on and off for three days and I'm still not finished. I wish that this type of game came out a few times a month, I would buy every one!!! If you want a change of pace from HO's check this game out, you won't be disappointed.!!!! Addy
