BASED ON THE SE
The sound is great, Native American music. The narration is great, the voice overs of Jesse and Misu are ridiculous, but that did not deter me from buying the game.
The graphics are great, opening with a beautiful scene of an eagle in flight. The animated wolves are breath taking.
The storyline is interesting. You've gone to the Native American Culture Center to investigate strange goings on. You are met by Jesse (who looks and sounds more like Jesse James than a Native American) at the Center and he explains the situation to you.
There are lots of bells and whistles and special effects in this SE. The hidden object scenes are beautifully drawn with lots of Native American artifacts and items in them. They are actual scenes, not junkpiles. They are interactive list and silhouette type. You can switch to a bubble shooter if you choose. Mini puzzles are lots of fun and there are collectible puzzle pieces in the game.
You get a diary, binoculars to view things far away, an interactive map, and an amulet to assist you.
It doesn't get much better than this.

The graphics are not bad, nothing spectacular. The characters are realistic, especially that gorgeous blonde reporter.
The sound unfortunately left me laughing. The voice overs were great but I heard the male voice speaking when the female's lips were moving and the female voice when the male was moving his lips. Background noise, like care engines, were realistic There was some eerie creepy music throughout and some whodunit music to lend to the mood.
A cub reporter, tired of covering celebrity galas and shenanigans, asks for a harder and more meaningful assignement. Her boss grants her this. She seeks out the person she is to interview, the inventor Paul and travels to a seedy neighborhood where she encounters all manner of things.
There are 10 slides to collect, list type interactive hidden object scenes and fun mini puzzles where you have to find pieces throughout the game in order to play them.
Your tools are a journal with a map.
Fun game, an immediate buy for me.
I recommend this game!

There is a wedding to take place. A flock of ravens comes with an evil Raven Queen and not only stops the wedding but takes over the entire town, turning the soliders and townspeople to stone. As the story progresses the Raven Queen reveals that the Prince (who was to be the groom in the wedding she ruined) had promised to marry her. She has come to collect her groom.
The soundtrack is very well done. The artwork is superb. The voice overs leave a lot to be desired with the supposed "good" bride sounding like a whining, nagging harpie and a magic mirror sounding like the bumbling Dr. Smith from the Space Family Robinson. But the rest of the game is so well done that did not detract me.
The hidden object games are junkpiles with lists, some interactivity. The mini games are fun, not the most challening, but a lot of fun.
To assist you there is the Magic Mirror and an interactive map.
This is a cute little game, a little less challening than some might like, that I only stopped playing long enough to buy.
I recommend this game!

This is a first class whodunit. Reporter Emilie White disappears while trying to interview the citizens of Raincliff.
There are spooky appearances and disappearances of townspeople with ethereal music playing in the background while the snow falls. This game is unbelievably good.
The hidden object scenes are junkpile style with written lists, beautifully drawn and beautifully done. The game is filled with mini puzzles, some simple, some very challenging, all of them fun and entertaining.
You have Mr. Toad collectibles, lots of achievements, a map to assist you, and best of all your trusty little canine sidekick, Elf, who can get into places that you can't.
To raise the temperature, because you are outside in freezing temperatures, you can find and collect morphing objects.
There is something to keep you busy every minute in this game.
I recommend this game!

Based on the Demo
The soundtrack for this game is great. The music is spooky, haunting, and ethereal. The voice overs are very well done.
The visuals are beautiful and intriguing. Some of them are like a one dimensional drawing, others vibrant almost like a movie.
The hero is on his way to his father Bluebeard's castle to locate and destroy the Dark Heart. His father had married six young women and murdered them all to fulfill his pact with a demon who saved his life. As the son of Bluebeard the hero, as is the rest of his family, is cursed. So the hero does what a hero does: find a way to save his family and to stop the curse.
Along the way you will find an animated skeleton raven and an animated skeleton cat. They are enchanting and amazing, but unfortunately are in your way and you must find a way past them.
The hidden object scenes are beautifully drawn, the junkpile and list type, with interactivity.
It is the mini games that give this game a 5 star rating. They are phenomenal. They are different than other games: very thought provoking with multi tasks. The ship game is like a game in itself.
There is a journal and a map, that you have to put together after you find the pieces, to assist you. It's a great game.
It was an immediate buy for me.
I recommend this game!

This is the craziest game I have ever played. There are junkpiles to find pairs of hidden objects and not to hidden objects. There are sudoku games. There are jigsaw puzzles. The music is crazy. The games are crazy.
All the while you are playing you receive mysterious messages from the mysterious "Void". It was a lot of fun.
Try it. It's not for everyone, but it's for me.
I recommend this game!

The storyline is excellent. Charon, who always transported the souls of the damned to Hades in a gondola via the River Styx has taken to transporting them via the Haunted Train. On what was to be the happiest day of your life, your wedding day, your beloved bride, Olivia is murdered by an evil Count and his minions. She and her soul are on the Haunted Train en route to eternal damnation. Can you help Charon to bring her killers to justice and save Olivia from a terrible fate?
The graphics in this game are beautiful, that includes the mini puzzles and the hidden object scenes. The mini puzzles are unusual, some time consuming, but all of them are a lot of fun. Hidden object scenes are clear, crisp, and clean, with a lot of interactivity. It is the straight list type, easy to know what you are looking for.
The soundtrack and voice overs are well done. It adds to this game being the total package.
There are three aids to assist you: a portfolio instead of a journal that has postcards of the places you have been, a magnifying monocle that can sense evil activity when you use it, and an interactive map, that really is interactive and a pleasure to use.
If you like beautifully crafted games, some scenes that look like they belong hanging in the Louvre, with sinister characters and eerie, creepy, and haunted special effects this game is for you.
I recommend this game!

The soundtrack is almost non-existent with a little jingle here and a little jangle here. There are no voice overs which means a lot of reading what the characters are saying and a farcical type of interaction between characters.
Graphics are very good, very well done.
The storyline was a little confusing. Guests seem to be disappearing and you as detective are called in to solve the mystery. There appears to be a mad scientis running around materializing objects from drawings.
You have an interactive map and a diary to assist you with gameplay. Because the map doesn't differentiate between what you can do now and what must be done in the future you spend a lot of time riding the elevator from floor to floor.
Hidden object scenes are well done, junkpiles with interactivity and straight lists. The mini puzzles are easy but fun: the usual like lock picking, chess games, and swapping colors. Nothing too hard, but very entertaining.
The storyline was a great one, when I could figure out what was happening, but the rest was just mediocre and run of the mill.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is the story of the curse associated with the Hope Diamond. It begins in a lecture hall in the Smithsonian where the curse if being discussed. Next you are on a speeding train with your employer being held captive by smugglers, probably looking for the Hope Diamond. You are helping your employer to escape when you are forced to jump from the speeding train. Somehow you find your way back to the Smithsonian museum and the real adventure begins.
The Soundtrack is excellent with very well done voice overs. The graphics are well done. You have a map, a mysterious help box, and journal to assist you in gameplay. Use the help box and read the collectible cards or you will miss vital clues.
The hidden object games are very interesting, some like the first one, in multi-level, first you find the silhoutted items, then the chemistry signs, then a list of hidden objects. Next scene has a list only, but a lot of interactivity, for a lot of fun. The mini puzzles are fun, some of them very different.
This game has a lot of fun puzzles and hidden object scenes. There is something to keep you busy every minute of gameplay.
I recommend this game!

The soundtrack was great with the appropriate eerie and creepy music when needed. Voice overs were excellent. The graphics were beautifully done, some scenes bright and colorful, others with muted pastels. They were all beautifully done.
The storyline is excellent, not just another vampire slash-em-up. The son of Dracula, the most cruel of all vampires, renounces his heritage, lives among humans, falls in love with a human woman and prepares to marry her. The twist to this game is tht you are playing both Enron, Dracula's vampire son, and Emily, Enron's human fiancee. There is a white dove who takes messages back and forth. Very interesting.
There is a journal, a map, a strategy guide to assist you. There are lots and bells and whistles in this game that keep you busy and entertained every step of the way.
The hidden object scenes are very well done, lots of interactivity, with the option to switch to a Match 3 if you choose. Mini puzzles are fun, some of them very unusual.
There are collectibles throughout the game: garlic that you can use to buy enhancements to the game at the shop, bats that you can use to buy enhancements to your castle. There are lots of achievements you can earn: finishing hidden object games without a hint, not skipping mini puzzles, etc.
This game has it all.
I recommend this game!
