If you like HOS-you will probably like this game-but it was not for me.
An interesting storyline-tied together by many too many HOS.
I quit the demo after 10-15 minutes & 4-5 HOS.
How about some straight adventure games BFG??

This was a good casual HOPA game. HOS's & puzzles are fairly easy challenges-which for me is a nice change. I found that I didn't need an interactive map-although waiting for the hint to recharge between hints was a bit annoying.
I liked the storyline & thought the graphics were fine.
I did not find out until after I purchased it, luckily with a coupon code, just how short the game was. I finished the game in about an hour.
I would not spend money on this game, and am not sure I would spend a credit or coupon code.

After Alice's car careens into a river, she wakes to find herself in a strange world. To escape, Alice will have to overcome her fears.

Alice hates her job, but is afraid to follow her dreams, so is given the opportunity to face her fears in this psychological thriller of a HOPA.
While similar to some recent games-you are facing your own fears rather than "saving" someone else.
There is a journal, with story & objectives & an interactive map, Graphics are creepy & dream-like. HOS & puzzles are reasonably difficult without being frustrating-always a plus for me.

I guess if you play this type of game frequently, this game would make sense to you, and perhaps even be fun. I do not, but thought it might be fun to try something different. Boy was I wrong.
There is no tutorial & only graphic hints as to how to move your character-that often made no sense to me. I guess I'll stick to what I know.
I would suggest downloading the free trial & seeing if you like it better than I did.

If a game keeps my attention for the full 1 hour trial, I usually buy it. This game did that.
This is a pretty typical HOPA, with a refreshingly, different setting for its typical save the kidnapped girl/boyfriend storyline.
For me both the HOPs & puzzles had a reasonable difficulty level. I like games where I can feel successful w/o having to use the hint/skip button.
So it was a da for me.

From the description & video, I thought this might be a straight Adventure game. Boy was I wrong.
In the 20 minutes I played before giving up there were 7 or 8 HOS. I must admit some of them were graphically different & creative, & I might have enjoyed them, except there were just too many of them for my taste.
This is unfortunate as the storyline looked as it might have been interesting.
If you love HOS this might be the game for you-try the free trial & see.

It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

I too am a fan of the Surface series & Elephant Games I think this is the best of the series so far(I assume the next Surface will be even better).. Great fun, graphics & my favorite storyline, so far(I assume the next Surface will be even better).
I feel the level of challenge .in the puzzles & HOS is just right. Even though I play a lot of these games, I find it very frustrating when I have to keep pushing the hint & skip button. These puzzles & HOS are challenging enough to keep me interested, but not so difficult to be frustrating.
I highly recommend this game.

I must admit that TM games are not my favorite genre. That being said, based on 15 minutes of the free trial, I found the music annoying, the story-line boring, the action tedious & repetitive. I also found that there was very little help-forcing me to repeat each level to receive 3 stars-also tedious & repetiive.

Downloaded the free trial and was hooked immediately. The hour passed very quickly. No HOS, no timer. I am tired of HOGs & timed games frequently frustrate this admittedly casual player.
I liked the story-line, graphics & music. The tutorial didn't explain as much as it could have, but it was pretty easy to figure out what needed to be done.
I look forward to enjoying this game through it's many levels.
