I own all the Mystika games including this and out of all four prefer 3. This follows same game play as previous games - matches of 3 or more tiles to accumulate gold to buy power ups, extra life on fight levels, free the luminos, hidden object etc BUT:
PROS: As above same game play and nice visuals.
CONS: Unlike 3 you accumulate coins very sloowly which is aggravating as opposed to 3 where you accumulated $200 on each level so faster ability to buy above. Have bought several extra life for fight scenes, however, am on level 73 and have only run into one. When making matches of 4 or more instead of getting the potion bottle which would eliminate tiles or the bomb even more - if you make a match of 4 or more for example on a pumpkin the pumpkin lights up and you have to make a 3 or more match to get it to explode. One gizmo in there if you land on it it could be a benefit of adding more tiles but liability of freezing tiles.
They have one power up if clicked it adjusts the board to make it easier to make a match.
I love farm games and enjoy the occasional match 3 so thot a combination would be just the thing. Wrong. I don't like having to move fields and buildings around, watering crops, remembering to feed chickens before I can get eggs, or collecting boocoo tomatoes what have you before I can play a level - prefer farm games like Barn Yarn for example. Not to mention tried on four different occasions to buy a hen house - fourth time was the charm since it finally showed up! So this one plug away at it occasionally when I'm tired of my other games.
Have all the previous games and played them to the point of boredom. I like this new one - granted pretty much the same game play with gathering resources, building and upgrading buildings and bonuses such as speed up icon, buying another Viking, etc but still enjoyable and definitely a challenge - had to start several levels over. And love the music.
Cons? Miss looking for the hamsters tho this game does have "find the objects" which 9/10 so far found barely any.
Good game to pass the time without the usual offerings of doom and gloom.
Almost did cartwheels when I saw a new Park Ranger! At this time of social isolation this is the kind of game we need - it definitely makes you smile and for me at least a happy feeling when playing the game. For those who buy all the VAPR there's no change in play: finding the hidden objects, mini games etc with the fun addition of dinosaurs(!) which I love.
The graphics are very clear and quite lovely, and have to agree with other Fishies - the hidden objects seem to be smaller and there also seems to be more "clutter" but it's a challenge that keeps you absorbed and your mind off your troubles.
My only "con" for this is they eliminated the little magnifying glass that helped find red/blue objects needed; now constant clicking on everything in sight trying to find them.
Can't praise this game enough and as stated just what we need now - just plain fun (other developers take note - we need FUN games not hideous faces and doom and gloom).
Was glad to see another Incredible Dracula - love these games and other than the one with the "donut tree" have enjoyed every one of them. There's really no major changes in play - build the BloodDonald's and other buildings, etc - with the addition of clam shells that give bonuses, little puffer fish and jellyfish and a decent story line. All my favorite characters are back: Dracula, countess, the princess, Frankenstein and the zombies which always adds to the enjoyment.
However, was appalled when I got to the level where you made shark fin soup - complete with little fin with a pink end. Apparently developers are unaware of environmental issues these days and the outcry against the treatment of these animals; keep in mind for future games.
To the video and other reviews. Am always looking for a good solitaire game and shortly into this one remembered another game from this developer that I kicked out before halfway over.
Am very bored for one thing. Another music is totally annoying (deja vu), seems like you go on forever and a hideous amount to buy a joker or wild card.
I love Jewel Match games and this is fast becoming my favorite if for no other reason is that it's underwater with fish and bubbles!. Music (heard this first with Tales of Lagoona) is appropriate for the game and not intrusive. For those who have the other Jewel Match there's nothing different by way of game play - collect the emeralds to build and gold to buy power ups. Some may think it's too easy but with some of the mind benders out there I enjoy a game where I can simply sit back and relax.
And LOVE that little seahorse that pops up on the joker card.
The only thing I dislike with these games is that extremely annoying "shriek" that pops up when the player is notified there's a bonus game to play.
I loved the first Laruaville games (first one is still my favorite) but now it's just same-o, same-o. If the developers are going to continue to offer the same game over and over again then PLEASE do something different to avoid the monotony.
I hate doing a "don't recommend" since these developers do work hard on these games so will recommend it for those who love Laruaville no matter what.
