Am not a puzzle person so this is the first one I've purchased based on the reviews and graphics and am thoroughly enjoying it. A few things to get used to: you don't create a player name, no options like turning the music up or down or choosing a level of difficulty. And haven't seen any offer of wallpapers but that may show up when I complete the game.
However, no biggie and it's not difficult at all. Am still on the first level so am sure difficulty will increase as I progress to the next levels.
The puzzle scenes are beautiful. So again am enjoying this and glad I purchased it.
I recommend this game!

I always immediately purchase Jewel Match games whether SE or CE and this one does not disappoint. The colors and scenes are lovely and when filling in the scenes you get a shower of flowers which is very pretty and love the butterflys.
This is your typical one up/one down solitaire which is my preference and game follows the usual Jewel Match of accumulating emeralds to build the scenes. AND there are the usual numerous levels which is typical for the Jewel Match game - you certainly get you money's worth with this developer. Don't play the mini games since I don't care for mahjong or the more complicated solitaire.
Notice on this game tho that the items in the shop are much more expensive than the other JM games.
Two things I don't like: When you purchase a power up from the shop such as a remove random it's not automatically available each level like the other games - they have to power up which is annoying. And I WISH they would get rid of that HIDEOUS noise every time you're notified of an available mini game.
Other than those two I love this game and highly recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoy playing this game! The HOG scenes and mini games are enjoyable. There's very little challenge in this game which is fine with me - it's nice to just sit back and relax with a cute game as a change from some of the more challenging games I have. Cats are adorable. Music is soothing and not intrusive on the game - you have about 15 different tunes to choose from - which I wish many games would offer.
So some mindless entertainment to pass the time and cheer you up.
I recommend this game!

I own every Park Ranger game and love them all except for 11 and 12. Stated on my review of 11 that they seemed bent on making the game more of a challenge which they did to the point the game wasn't as much fun as the others (yes point of a game is to give you a challenge but not make some levels almost impossible).
Pros - On this is they finally brought back the magnifying glass - loved most of the scenes which had nature which had good graphics and a lot of our "old friends" were back.
Cons - Many of the scenes (especially the ones with the fair, etc) were grainy and such a riot of color it was not only difficult to find the objects but you got a headache! Mini games which I've always enjoyed (other than the word grid) not so much this time. How many of us are into astrology let alone knowledgeable about it? Click the squares around then switch two of them which was irritating and REALLY wish they would stick to the Park Ranger music not treating us to country and western which jangles the nerves and to me is out of place. The camera in most of the scenes is almost invisible.
So PLEASE guys - let's go back to the Park Ranger we know and love. Granted things can't stay exactly the same forever but don't make the game so hard and/or annoying it's no longer fun.
I have many reservations about this game but don't want to do a not recommend so will recommend again with reservations.
I recommend this game!

I buy all of these with the hopes of seeing them improve these games after all the reviews on the previous games which developer apparently ignores but SOME improvement. So my pros and cons:
1. PROS: I love the nature scenes, finding the cats, paw prints and camera that takes pictures of the scenes. A lot of the hidden objects are hard to find but the purpose of games is to give you a bit of a challenge. SOME (not all) of the mini games are fun.
2. CONS: Again (as has been stated in reviews of the other games) these games are entirely too short - we're either spending over $7.00 or using a game credit on a game that has only 30 levels as opposed to other games that have numerous so not worth the money. This is supposed to be our BEAUTIFUL EARTH and I don't consider crowded harbors, restaurants and parades falling into that category. You accumulate money at each game which you can use to buy objects/animals to fill in on the gift shop section but very little to buy - at the end of the game you have about $50,000 or more and nothing left to buy.
I wish the developer would concentrate on nature which IMO constitutes our beautiful earth and have scenes from places like rain forests and Antarctica to name a few.
Since I'm so on the fence with this will not recommend or not recommend.

First of all loved the graphics - very well done and definitely loved the underwater scene. Game play naturally follows the other games of making matches, accumulating coins to buy power ups and the "icons" for the scenes.
My biggest complaint and have remarked on this for another game is wishing they would follow the format like Jewel Match Royale and Jewel Match Landscapes where after each level you could go into the flower garden and accumulate stars for the scene extras. This and another game you have to play boocoo levels and then have to play a bonus level to accumulate the stars which for me takes away the enjoyment and they're set up in a way which is monotonous.
So I recommend it with a few reservations.
I recommend this game!

On the positive side the game was fun once I had it figured out. The scenes are lovely and the music is pleasant and not intrusive to the game play. Not particularly hard (tho I play in relaxed the first time I get a game until I'm on to it). But have to agree with some reviewers that this game was entirely too "busy." Having to look here, there and every where for plays.
And so far I've only needed to upgrade the treasure chest once and the bomb, lightening bolt and chain power ups once and that's all that's needed at least for me.
It really follows their other Jewel Match game play otherwise except (and this is a definite peeve on my part) of how many levels you have to play before you go into the extra games to accumulate stars for the scene extras. Wish they would follow the format like they did on Naturescapes for example where after EACH level you were given the option to go into the garden and get the stars.
So as I said once you figure it out it's an enjoyable and very pretty game.
I recommend this game!

I have all the Beautiful Earth games and enjoy playing them.
PROS: Scenes are colorful and music isn't intrusive to game play. Love finding the little cats and the paw tile, and game is challenging at times since some of the objects are hard to find which is the point of games - give you a challenge.
CONS: As has been mentioned in this and the previous games - game is entirely too short which even tho the game is enjoyable you don't feel like you've gotten your money's worth (developer take note). This is supposed to be our beautiful earth so myself would like to see more nature and less crowded towns/cities. Very limited items to purchase - this time animals - but that's done very quickly and by the time I finished the game had about $80,000 left and nothing to buy.
Some of the mini games are enjoyable (place the puzzle pieces for example) but others are rather annoying especially the match 3 - matches of three or more to clear off the colored tiles but in some cases you move to clear the tiles but it won't let you move where you want to go - thot maybe you could only move in a certain direction but no instructions.
So will recommend this game with reservations.

I love these Park Ranger games and own all of them and couldn't wait for #11 and was extremely disappointed. Yes same old Park Ranger game with the hidden object level then a mini game and so on etc. Problem is it seems like they really wanted to make this more of a challenge and man did they. Many objects were extremely hard to find (yes object of a game is to give you a challenge but not to this extent).
They eliminated the little magnifying glass that would pop up over an object you needed to find to complete a task resulting in constant clicking over everything in sight trying to find the object. Was constantly using the mega hint with the result lost my eagle eye bonus.
The last two games were great 9 took you to an additional park and 10 had dinosaur digs. This one nothing special.
I don't recommend this game.

Finally a decent solitaire game after months of frankly junk and boredom. It follows the same game play as the previous Atlantis solitaire game - one up, one down solitaire, the scenes are lovely as well as the fish and the music is very relaxing (not like some games). Same shopping cart as before except some of the items are a bit more expensive. There's an added bonus of an extra gift card during the play that once the cards around it are cleared it gives you extra cards in your deck (number of extra cards is on the gift card). And the bonus of being a long game which is the norm with Jewel Match so you certainly get your money's worth.
This is a game well worth purchasing especially if you want a game that's relaxing (something definitely needed these days).
I recommend this game!
